The cafe offers on the first floor three beautiful rooms with balcony and sea view, a small friendly and familiar restaurant with decent food and a small shop for shopping. Starting point for long beach walks, snorkeling and gentle sleep with the sound of the waves ... The bathrooms are only partially functional :-(

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for good value. The rooms are basic but spacious, and the staff are friendly and attentive - they'll even get to know you by name. The pool is also nice and deep, which is a plus. As a family of four, we particularly enjoyed the snorkeling opportunities that were just a stone's throw away from the beach. You can snorkel just 5 meters off the beach and see plenty of coral and fish. However, it's worth noting that the water can get cloudy after rain due to the river outlet not far up, which washes out all the silt. If you're up for some more snorkeling, we recommend checking out the Japanese Shipwreck about 15 minutes up the road. For food, we loved Galanga which is just a 2-minute walk away, and Blue Earth Village which offers a great view of the sunset and volcano. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable option. Thank you to the staff for making our trip so memorable!

The food at Sunrise Cafe is mediocre and overpriced. In addition, I got very sick after eating lunch there when I first arrived. I stayed in one of the rooms above the cafe, which had a beautiful view of the water from the room's small balcony. There was a bench and table on the balcony, which was a pleasant place to enjoy the breeze and listen to the ocean. The cafe is usually busy at night, however, with a large bright light shining over tables just below the rooms, so there is not a lot of privacy or uninterrupted peace. The room was pretty sparse with old sheets and no bed cover, but there was a/c and a mosquito net. There is also decent snorkeling right outside the cafe and equipment for rent for less than $5.

Great place to stay in Amed. Top service, rooms are very clean with towels and water provided. Breakfast and welcome drink are also included. Good to swim in the swimming pool in the morning. Beautiful sea and garden view. Also highly recommended massage.

If you are a morning person it is perfect. Otherwise there is few kids living here and they are getting ready for school around 6am, they are a bit loud also the parents too. But we liked to stay here.

We (a family of four) booked a snorkelling boat tour with them, and it was great. Stopped at 3 places and everybody was happy and the host family is very welcoming and sweet. We had lunch afterwards which was good and cheap.
