I felt greatly taken care of and safe all of the time. Lena speaks very good German so I had the advantage so absolve my course in my mother language. I completed the open water dive course at Amed Dive Centre and got the package deal with 4 night stay at the resort. Amazing value for money!!! Easy and quick communication with owner Harmuth before my arrival and very flexible with moving as I got a cold just before my original start date. It was an amazing couple of days where I learnt and saw so much of the underwater world and how important safety is. Special thanks to Lena for the detailed and passionate teaching, I always felt safe with her 😃. All the staff at dive centre / hotel were so kind and helpful too. I hope to be back and see the amazing corals in and around Amed one day again 🙌🏼.

I had one day in Amed and travelled here specifically to do the Liberty shipwreck dive. I reached out in advance about doing that dive specifically and confirmed booking for 8:30am. We sacrificed a sunrise hike to do the morning dive. It was too early for my hotels free breakfast so I bought something on the way over (which is fine, but keep reading). I arrive and they tell me they’re gonna do an open water course just off the shore in Amed instead if I wanna watch them do that. Why would I want to do that?? So I had to scramble to find another shop to dive with in the afternoon, past sunset. Which means I bought breakfast for no reason AND won’t have time to explore Amed or any beaches, or enjoy the sunset while I’m here. This messed up my whole plan for Amed, very disappointed.

I went diving for the first time in Bali at the Amed Dive Center. I got a very good instructor, who explained very carefully. I felt very safe the whole time.

Friendly and professional instructors with knowhow of the local diving spots. They have their own boat to go efficiently to each dive spot. The dive gear is not the newest but no problem for me.

Nice little shore dive off beach (muck dive) but such a variety just there - Octopus, rays, sea snakes, Morey's, nudi's and a lot more. Also got to see several turtles, schooling mackerel etc.

We had two dives with Dug and it was so amazing. The dive sites were so beautiful and he showed us many macro and micro animals, and explained everything very well. Besides the dives he made a good vibe and we really enjoyed the day. The equipment is good. For us he organized specially the shipwreck dives as it wasnt on the plan for that day and we could go there by a seperate car. Thank you so much. We will dive again with Amed Dive Center.

Did a 2 day 6 dive trip with Dug at Ahmed Dive Center and we absolutely enjoyed all 6 dives he brought us to. He was very detail in his briefings, and pointed out the all the different fish. We did the USS liberty wreck at Tulamben, Boga wreck at Kubu and even the shore dive right in front of the hotel were great with much to see. All were such great dive sites! Would love to go back and dive with Dug again! Thank you for an amazing experience.

The accommodation is spacious and clean and the on-site restaurant had many good options. The property is beautifully maintained and peaceful with swimming pools facing the beach.

Did an open water dive here as a complete beginner in October 2023 and it was amazing. Did a 4D3N package with hotel Uyah and Amed dive center I love the convenience of having the accomodation right outside of the dive center and it was so easy to go diving. Rooms was clean and more importantly the instructors were complete professionals! Very good place for beginners as I felt very safe throughout the entire open water course. Not to mention the sunsets at this place was beautiful too!
