👍👍 This is likely the best place to view Agung for free. We ventured out here after finding it on Google and it didn't disappoint. The Bali Asli Restaurant next to it is the perfect place to chill while enjoying the view. I would recommend coming here in early morning. When we got there it was already... People often mention view, Agung, road, beautiful, sunrise, good, drive,

This is likely the best place to view Agung for free. We ventured out here after finding it on Google and it didn't disappoint. The Bali Asli Restaurant next to it is the perfect place to chill while enjoying the view. I would recommend coming here in early morning. When we got there it was already 9:30 - 10. We still got a beautiful view but Agung was partially blocked.

You must come in the dry season to see the mountain or else the clouds will cover it all like i had experienced in my photos haha. This place is just a very narrow path to a sercet spot for a beautiful photo. No gate, no staff, no nothing but plants

Nice little viewpoint to see Mt Agung (when it's not cloudy) and rice paddies.

Well, the grass meadow now is barred with fences, perhaps to avoid some destruction made by some visitors. But the mount Agung's view is spectacular! You may have to climb into somewhere higher than main road or use the drone for best viewing experience. You have to arrive here in early morning or late afternoon, to catch the best view from this little gem.

The detour is not worth it because the view is blocked by banana trees and many plants.

Worth stopping it in the east of Bali, though there are quite a few places to get a good view of Agung. We just stopped at the side of the road, some people go into fields to get an ‘Instagram’ shot, but not easy with fences to get in and not sure how much the locals appreciate it!

Was a nice place for sightseeing, but not really special place to come. This is actually just a road with a really nice few. There’s not a lot of things we can do, but just enjoying the view, i hope in the future there will be some exciting activities we can do here. It would be nice if they build something to attract the tourists

If you plan to ride your scooter from Ubud to Bukit Cinta, I would advise you to follow the Google maps directions for cars, even though it might take you longer to arrive. Otherwise you will end up in a very steep slope and narrow road in poor conditions. There were danger signs advising you not to go up that road and many locals told us it is a very extreme route. We still followed the road for some meters, but soon realised it is not worth risking it, specially with a rented scooter.

Charming restaurant and cafe that gives such breaktaking views of Mt Agung and lush rice fields! Be sure to visit before 4PM to enjoy this hidden gem as the last order is only until 4. We arrived 4:15PM and was able to try only the ginger tea -- which was really good!

A bit of a road to drive at night to catch the sunrise but worth it. The location is correctly placed on the map so no confusion possible. The view is very beautiful and feels like the place is all for yourself. Tips: be sure to check out the weather forecast before leaving, we were caught by the rain and that wasn't so pleasant to drive all wet 😬

Don't expect too much of the place. It's just on the side of the road. Of you drive past it you should stop. The view can be good depending on the weather.

Not a tourist attraction, just a roadside photo opportunity. Good if you are passing, but don't go out of your way!

Beautiful, arrive here before sunset and DO NOT WASTE a second setting up for a photo, the window is so tight between light levels, and potential cloud cover. Even then, its beautiful and peaceful and something you'll remember. Beautiful pics to be had as well! The drive early morning is not too bad, traffic builds up later in the day... of course.

Amazing view of Mt Agung amid cogon grass and green fields in the distance. Perfect for a golden hour visit for sunrise shots. Good spot to stop before heading to other areas in East Bali (i.e. Lempuyang Temple).

The hotel is in a deep ravine with jungle, getting up and down is problematic. constant humidity 100%. dampness, mold, moss, ants in the bed, mice in the house... the price is very high. despite the staff’s desire to please you in everything, the place resembles an abandoned place, the dampness eats away everything. Before buying online, it's better to come and see...

Although we didn't get to see mt agung due to the clouds it was still an awesome experience. If you arrive to early it's pretty dark and hard to find the path but with a bit of light you will find it easily.

👍👍 Nice natural spring with clear water and fish in it. Not a one tourist on our visit, only some locals. We visited with our driver. We were said the locals believed it is the "fertility spring" and pairs that have trouble conceiving are coming to bathe in it. ☺️
