I stayed here for a week and did a series of dive courses with them. I enjoyed myself a lot and would highly recommend both the resort and dive school. The resort was clean and safe with warm and friendly service. Breakfast was delicious and served in the sea view restaurant. The dive instructors were professional, patient and fun, and the dives were well organised and safe.

This is our second time in Amed with Bali Dive and we would recommend it to anyone. The rooms are spacious, clean and nice - everything we need. The breakfast is super tasty and we totally enjoy having breakfast in the morning overlooking the pool and the ocean. The staff is super friendly and they were all happy to see us again. Especially the ones with whom we already had little inside jokes. They really do everything to make you feel comfortable. I can only say the same about the reception and the staff at the dive centre. Absolutely professional and at the same time super warm.

Although its a simple hotel, the rooms are very spacious, and the most important, it is very clean and well maintained. Even we dont see any dirt or dust under the bed. Clean and airy bathroom, and they provide clothes drying rack in the balcony. We love it there, the staffs are welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is generous and amazing. Wifi connection is great. Will definitely stay there again!

We only spent one night here and I wish I had stayed more ! The location and the views are unbeatable! So chill and the staff is so nice . Will definitely stay here again and do the PADI diving course .

Perfect hotel. So close to the beach, staff is really nice polite and helpful. The breakfast is really great. The swimming pool is nice and the room are cleaned every morning. I really do not have any bad thing to say about the place. I really recommend !! Thank you !

Basic Bali Hotel. Staff are amazing. Located on the main road , but wasn't to noisy. Towels supposed to be changed only every 3 days , but we have to ask after 2 days because was so bad. Altogether value for money

Great dive resort located in Amed. Rooms are very spacious. Comfortable beds, great shower, great views. The only issue I had was that the air-conditioning struggled. Friends in other rooms were fine. The restaurant was beautiful. Great prices, great food. There is no western menu, though. Staff is very friendly. Fantastic dive guides. The location is great. Short 5 - 15 minutes drive to all dive sites. Night dives are also available.

Very nice Resort. The rooms were enormous and clean with a beautiful garden landscape when you come out from your room. We also dived during the day - our instructor, Damien and Sam were really helpful when we finally went out to the ocean. The shipwreck was amazing! Highly recommended to try the dive! I can't express how thrilled I am with my experience at this Dive Resort. It's an easy 5 out of 5 stars for me. My dive instructor, Damien, and the whole crew made this journey unforgettable. Their attention to detail in planning and executing the dives was impeccable. I loved that they always provided a little snack between the dives – it's those thoughtful touches that matter. But what really stood out were the dive sites. They were beyond beautiful; every dive was like exploring another world. Thanks to Damien's guidance, I learned so much during my time here. And I can't forget to mention the resort's restaurant – it's hands down one of the best in Amed. I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. Cheers!

We had a lovely stay at Bali Dive Resort Amed! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s also conveniently located in Amed, with easy access to the beach and local warungs

Love the room and the people. Great location, right by the beach, and easy to go anywhere on foot. The dive resort is affiliated with PADI and I took my course training here! Find Michela, she’s the best instructor ever 😩❤️ 7/5 would recommend to stay here and enroll in their program!!!

Me and my partner had a great time here! We primarily came here to do our open water course, and it did not dissapoint! Our amazing teacher Michela made us feel safe, but while having the best time! She was super knowledgeable! Started the first day in the pool and the second and third day in the sea. The last dive was at USAT Liberty ship wreck, which was truly amazing. Thank you so much for the amazing time!

We didn't stay the night here, but we did our PADI Open Water in the dive center and enjoyed it a ton. Special thanks to Damien, our diving instructor. He made us feel really safe and secure, but was also super chill. We truly had an amazing experience!

Everything was amazing here! Came with a group of 5 to do our OWC and stayed here. Michela and Nicole were very accomodating to our requests and bookings, even gave us a discount on accoms AND the diving course (since we were a bigger group), do email them if you're a bigger group! Though, OWC shld be taken with a max of 5 pax due to the small pool size, which I prefer! a smaller group is always more comfortable. For the accoms, air-condition struggled a bit but cleanliness and service were amazing. Food at the accoms were surprisingly cheap and much better than most restaurants in Bali. They pay lots of attention to the aesthetics of the plating. Lots of smiles and one staff Sana, after asking her about eyelashes, said she has a friend that could help me. Unfortunately I was out of time but she was so eager to help! It was cheap too, about 200k and above! A small note to Nicola and team, THANK YOU for cancelling the last day on such short notice. Our group wanted to go to the city as we did not expect the dive course to end so early in the day so we wnated to fully explore bali as much as we could. Incredibly accomodating for cancelling both rooms AND allowing us to stay past checkout time for us to bathe and pack our stuff <3 SUPERB service really. Dive courses were done with Damien and Sam. Amazing instructors with a lot of patience and attention to detail. Shipwreck was beautiful and if you're an odd number, you can buddy with the instructor! Sam was my buddy and showed me amazing sea creatures, snorkeling could never. Definitely a WONDERFUL experience, would recommend and come back to do my advanced <3

Accommodation: really clean and comfortable rooms, fuss-free, couldn't ask for more. Everyone around the resort was really polite and friendly too, great hospitality and service, and value-for-money too. Appreciate holding out the room for us even though we arrived very late at night. Diving: Fantastic, and we had a great time. Great communications beforehand and onsite experience. My friend and I did our OWC here, we had Damien as our instructor (spunky guy), everything was well-planned and taken care of - even by the wider crew, shout-out to them too. Location-wise, the compound is really near many eating places, convenience stores, etc. all the fixings you need for a great laid-back vacation in Amed. 10/10 highly recommend this place!

really happy and have no regrets at all learning to dive as well as taking a diving certificate with BALI DIVE RESORT AND SPA. apart from Paddy's certificate, the instructor is also very friendly, patient, kind, just very pleasant. thank you very much Damian you have taught me how to take off my swimming goggles in sea water. Exceptional dive resort. Great diving instructors, keen on proper equipment, correct diving techniques and caring for the ocean. PADI certified. The rooms and the resort were great. Nice breakfast.

Very happy stay. Located in gardens with a clean swimming pool right on the waterfront. Rooms big and clean and comfortable. Lots of nearby small restaurants on the beach. 5 days of diving very professional courteous and fun. This place suits divers and non-divers equally and would recommend it. Only criticism is restaurant is overpriced but this is not a problem because there are so many beautiful restaurants right on the water within 100 metres. Accommodating courteous staff. Will be back

Modern, clean, no TV, good food, pool with view of the sea, lovely staff. Good value. Internet in rooms a bit flaky at times, at others got speeds of 30mbps+, beat we experienced in Bali.

Perfect stay for a diving vacation! The rooms are nice, clean and provide everything you'd expect at a very reasonable price! The diving tours and diving instructor has been a great fit for us! We will visit them again, when we come back

Short version: I can definitely recommend this location and would stay here again, if I'm in Amed next time. Long version: The hotel is located directly at the beachfront in Amed. From the restaurant and pool you have a direct seaview & beach access. Rooms have enough space and the outdoor bathroom is a great idea of the Balinese people. The service in the hotel is excellent, everyone is very friendly and helpful. There is a dive center belonging to the hotel and we did the discover scuba diving course there. Our guide Michela has several years diving experience, explained everything very well & answered all our questions, so that we felt in good hands and very safe during our dives with her. After some practice in the pool we had two dives in the ocean and I can recommend to everyone, who never dived before, to do this activity.

Well located beach side resort with foreigner managed Dive shop. Clean and tidy rooms. It is a budget resort but is good value albeit we stayed during a promotion period. Diving costs were higher than have paid in Tulamben but equipment was in above average condition and you get a stronger sense of control and safety with procedures more like you would experience overseas.

I enjoyed my week stay at Bali Dive. Spacious & clean rooms ( with fridge, watercooker, free drinking water, & A/C), variable breakfast options Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice seaview from the restaurant / pool area.

We had such a good Dive Education (OWD) with Damien. He cared all Diving about us and he was an amazing teacher. Thank you so much! We didnt stay at the Resort but we could recomand the hole Crew. So many nice people. I am grateful to was there.

Very nice place to spend a couple of days while staying in Bali. The resort has also a certified PADI scuba diving school and in 3 days you can get the open water certification for a very good price. Staff is very kind and the location of the hotel is amazing. Sunset and sunrise and breathtakin! I would definitely recommend to stay here some days while in Bali

Only came here for diving, didn't stay at the resort, but can 100% recommend. The managers are super friendly and helpful and the dive masters are extremely professional. They made our diving experience unforgettable. It can be difficult finding the "right" dive center that you feel confident diving with, but trust me - these are the people for you. Did both day dives and my first night dive. They can take you to Tulamben for the liberty wreck and other great dive spots. Also very competitive prices if you do your open water or advanced dive courses. Thanks for the great experience Nicole and Kadek! Hope to see you guys again if I ever visit Amed.

One-liner: Normal hotel, good beach location. Would we stay here again: Yes. What we liked: Hotel was great value/quality. However, it was nothing out of the ordinary. It was just normal comparing western standards. It has a nice pool and direct entry to the beach. Improvement: Breakfast could be better (more in quantity and more choice). Furthermore, the room was so huge one could easily split the room in two and have two rooms for guests...

We loved our time here! The last review is extremely negative and I wouldn’t take it seriously. Pros: 1. The dive shop was great! The mangers and our instructor were wonderful. The equipment is new and in great condition. It was nice to have it right on site with our hotel. 2. The staff and guests were really chill and friendly. It had a real community feel. We chatted with a lot of people. 3. One of the dive shop managers fosters rescue dogs (there were 2) and I love dogs. Also, they were sweet and friendly. 4. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was cozy and comfy. 5. It is right on the beach 6. Breakfast was delicious Con: 7. The pool set up was great. Pool was clean. However, the tiles on the edge overlooking the beach and the edge from the shallow to the deep section are broken and sharp. They need to be fixed. We’re planning another trip to Amed and we’ll stay here again.

Great location on the beach, beautiful surroundings, great staff, delicious breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The dive shop excel at what they do and I highly recommend diving with them. You don’t have to be staying at the hotel to dive with them either. Fabulous dive crew, great equipment, thorough briefings and small groups so it’s personalised. I did a refresher with Damien, and went diving with Dom over a few days. The dive crew feel more like family where everyone looks out for everyone. Can’t recommend them enough!
