Location is good but this is the only good thing. The noise is constant during night and day (chickens, cats, cars, cows, scooters and so much more) , rooms are not modern and they just takes their place for granted. Should make the place Kirana Hostel , the shower was disgusting, weird smell and very dark in bathroom. Very disappointed. A lot to improve.

I stayed for a month. Kirana is the perfect spot if you are wanting peace and quiet. It is well back off the main road so has no traffic noise, there are no bars or hostels too close either. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There are three or four detached private bungalows set in a well maintained tropical garden these are air conditioned and have their own cooking and bathroom facilities. Breakfast is included in the price for these I think. There are also two cheaper rooms in the main building. Breakfast not included. Neither of these rooms is air-conditioned and get very hot. They do have a fan though so if you are tough... Also only one of these rooms has an attached private bathroom, the other room has no private bathroom and you have to walk through the lounge to go shower or toilet (there is usually nobody in the lounge though). These two rooms have no kitchen or fridge but you are allowed to use the "staff" kitchen. There is a good assortment of cooking utensils, the fridge is small with a tiny ice box. You cannot drink the tap water but a drinking water station is available. Pick up from the airport is a three hour drive and is reasonably priced at 600k. Scooters are available to hire at varying rates depending on how many days you want. Expect 50k per day for less than a week. 40k per day for up to three weeks. You might be able to negotiate 35k or even 30k per day for a month. Includes helmet. No insurance. "Johnny" the "manager" has good English but is seldom seen. He does respond to "Emergency" situations though (the aged kitchen sink tap exploded πŸ˜‚). The other staff - "Nengan" and "Made" are lovely and know a little English and are happy to help you learn a little Indonesian language πŸ™‚ The gardener is the strong silent type. Nice people. "Orang rama".

An airy, spacious oasis of calm close to Amed beach Large, airy rooms facing a garden-like inner courtyard. Comfortable bed with mosquito netting. Large bottled water supply; huge bathroom with a nice shower. Apart from the occasional rooster, this was a nicely secluded retreat away from the main road at the end of a small side road. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast: there's a choice of pancake, eggs, or fruit; and coffee or tea. There's a supermarket nearby with one of the only ATMs in Amed. Things to be aware of: It's a rural area, so we were able to hear roosters and pigs. Nothing bad or too loud - just something to be aware of. The host promised a "welcome drink", but this never materialized, and the in-room info described an afternoon "tea service" that is apparently no more. Amed itself is a bit underwhelming. All these are minor - it's still a great place, and we'd happily go back.

Lovely bungalows in a beautiful garden, kitchenette and spacious terrace. Away from the road but 5 minutes walk to get to the beach. Recommended

Beautiful quiet place with well maintained garden and trees. We stayed here two weeks during July 2020 and were well taken care of by Putu the general manager and her staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The bungalow is very nice with a comfy bed and mosquito net. It has a small kitchen with every basic thing you might need to cook and fridge with freezer. Outside the room there's a patio with table, chairs and a bed to relax after a long day of snorkeling and exploring. All in all a great place to be with lovely people. Thank you.

Great place. The gang leading to the homestay can be a little challenging after dark. If you're not steady on your feet, be careful. Loved my stay here.

We lived in this wonderful place for a month and a half. Everything was great. The cottages have everything you need, very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance there is a shop, a fruit shop and a large number of restaurants for every taste. To the beach 3 minutes walk. Special thanks to the staff, they are very responsive, always ready to help and make delicious breakfasts.

Our stay at Kirana Homestay was AMAZING ! We had everything we could ask for: the rooms are very nice, clean and big. We enjoyed using the kitchen in the room as well as having the delicious breakfast on our terrace with a nice garden view. Last but not least: the people working at Kirana are all very friendly and helpful - special mention to Jonhy ! ;-) THANK YOU

One of the best places to stay in Amed. The staff are wonderful and the garden is really peaceful. Highly recommend if you are travelling as a couple or with family.

Staff are wonderful. Grounds and room are kept clean and tidy. Breakfast is delicious. My only complaint is that the bed is on the very firm side which I am not used to.

Such a memorable experience to stay here. Thank you to The dedicated staff and the Manager Putu. I highly recomend this place for anyone. My only regret is we did not stay longer, Amed has so much to offer and is such a relaxing place to be and see.

Nice and cozy place, staff super, pro and very friendly. Putu, the manager, organized transfer from Denpasar, helped us for missed luggage, organized driver to visit temples around Amed, booked tickets to Gili. Suggested 100%

Pleasant stay for a few days in the very quite place in Amed. Just 2 minutes walk from the beach. Putu the manager has a great English and can help you with everything. She helped us to buy a virgin coconut milk in a local store for 18k IDR per 600 ml. Also, she gave us a map of the Amed and marked everything we asked about. Recommendations.

Staff is very helpful, Desi gave us a lot of good tips. Rooms are spacious and clean, hot water in the shower. They have kitchen that you can use. They also provide a lot of drinking water. You can rent a scooter for 60k idr.

Wonderful hospitality from Putu (General Manager) and her staff team. Appreciated the small kitchen and fridge for some cooking, and daily breakfast. Great location with respect to being close to swimming and snorkeling (check out Bali Dive Cove for an amazing local family owned dive shop), and being away from road noise. Will come back.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich. πŸ‘πŸ‘ We came here with family and each got a villa. It was an incredible and memorable experience for us all. And we wish we didn't have to leave. 🫀 1 star for the sea view… 1 star for the friendly staff.. That’s it unfortunately. The quality of the hotel room was below average. Building or at least our room seemed not to be well maintained.
