Hmm, i find it difficult to write something positive about this hotel, because i booked on Agoda and the moment we arrived, no one was there to check us in, the rooms weren’t even cleaned yet and they asked us to pay more than the initial settled price on Agoda because the price in Agoda ‘wasn’t right’. When i told her that I’m not paying more and leave instead (because i checked: Pay at the hotel) she insisted I’d stay and agreed on the price on Agoda. On this particular day i had a motorbike accident and my foot was bleeding, so i had to take a shower and take care of it, but she was making a big deal of me possibly getting blood on the hotel towels and insisted that i used something else to dry my feet. So i was wondering.. does she also say this to all of the couples that have intercourse with a towel or to ladies who have their period? Location wise it is a nice hotel and the rooms are nice, but the staff and the hassle we had made it such a bad experience.

Thank you for the place to stay and the amazingly beautiful view directly in front of the ocean. I stayed 3 days and two nights at Rising Star Resort - i felt comfy, they have a good and friendly service. Don't want to miss the sunrise, they have good facilities, as well as friendly service.

I have stayed here at Rising Star Beach Resort ⛱ in Amed Bali for 1 month. This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Located on the beautiful beach with the most amazing snorkeling I have ever seen. The rooms are awesome and the staff is fantastic. I will return. I highly recommend this is paradise on earth 🌎

The guy that runs this place is awesome! Super helpful and very chill! He always greats you with a smile and has plenty of local information on where to go and what to eat. Their little dog is great and the rooms are nice! Beach front with a pool and just far enough from the main area to be quiet and relaxing! We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it!

Definitely a hidden gem in Bali. It is fairly cheap and the rooms are right at the beach. It is quiet and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. The rooms are very clean and the owners are nice! Would come back.

OWNER IS A SCAMMER, be careful when booking this place. The owner is a scammer. We booked the place 4 rooms for 5 people. Once we got to the resort at around 9 ish the owner said that the rooms where sold out and he only had more expensive rooms. This was a lie and he wanted us to pay double the price from the rooms. If you book this place make sure you do it via a official website and have the booking confirmation. The owner is a ugly person and he only cares about money.

One of my favouritest spots to stay in. The moment I entered, the owner Mr.Madé make me feel at home. He personally cleaned a room for me and let me stay. The room was clean with very clean attached bathroom. Stunning location because you can walk right into the water from this spot: great for Snorkeling because reef is right in front of the property. I would definitely go back here when in Amed.

Arrived after 4 hours drive and the owner said there was no room available for us. We made the booking 4 days prior to stay and he didn't have the time to let us know. He wanted us to pay "extra" for an upgraded room which, actually, was the one that we made the booking for. Didn't offer any solution, just to go out and find another place to stay for the week. And so we did. Looks like he's been trying the same trick for a while after reading other reviews. First time we find a dishonest and greedy owner in our trip.

This budget hotel is very good value for money and super clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is nice and looks out over the beach (which is free of both rubbish and fishing boats common to many Amed beaches) for snorkelling and swimming. You will be made to feel very welcome by owners Made and Iluh who are really helpful and kind. Have very much enjoyed my stay here

We stayed at the bungalow by the beach and it was amazing. You can literally see the sunrise from your bed. In front of the accommodation you only need to swim 5 meters to see beautiful corals and fish

Friendly host. Located right on a, albeit stony, beach where you can snorkel. Can be a bit quiet - there were no other guests for the first half of our stay.

The hotel is on the first line and has a big pool. Pleasant host. They were very polite and friendly to us. Owner helped us with a long distance transferring from Amed to Kuta and made for us discount. Thanks for everything!

Airconditioning is cold and facilities are clean. Right on the beach so you can snorkel from your room or swim in the beautiful pool as you choose. There is a restaurant and bar on the beach and the price is so cheap.

Nice location and nice hosts ! Always willing to help. They would offer multiple services, and sometimes to cook a delicious dinner for you ! Thank you for everything.

Really good time staying in Rising Star. The room is clean&spacious, friendly owners, lovely dogs, affordable price, excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the beach! Highly recommended!🥰

It is like a private beach place, can snorkeling at the beach. The place itself is in front of the beach. Sometimes we can see dolphins. Staffs are very friendly but the rooms are a bit old.

Owners are to pushy when it comes to making you feel you have to eat there or go on excurtions with them, made me not want to talk with him always trying to sell me something, I told him i was on a budget still trying to push. Foods expensive compared to other places around, it was good just over priced compared to other restaurants, pools dirty never clear Only stones on beach no sand

Rising Star Beach Resort - Amed is a beautiful place, clean and comfortable. Various facilities are also available in it and the view directly facing the beach which of course will make the visitors really enjoy and feel comfortable.

Very beautiful property but badly maintained rooms. Lazy staff. They gave me one egg for breakfast. When asked why I don't get more, their explanation was that since the room rent is cheap, they cannot give more than that. Stay only if you just need a bed to stay and would rather laze out of the beach.

Good location. Staff is very friendly and its very clean. The pool is big and the beach is 5m away😍 I enjoyed my time here and recommend this hotel for everyone👍🏼

The home stay has a good view, because its placed right on the seaside. And the other good things was the price, it was quite cheap. I stayed for one night at room no.1 the bathroom door knob was broken. I don't recommend the food because it wasn't good enough.

I stayed for 2 nights. The room that we stayed is bad. There is no door for the bathroom and the room is next to the kitchen of the hotel. In the morning I heard they do smoothies which bothered us so much for sleeping. However, the things that I really impressed is their Indonesian food. It's very good and I really like it.

Nice place and great ambience. We stayed in cottage no 5 and the ocean was a step away. Waking up looking at the sea was a great experience and nice price. The owner was also very good and kind and helpful. Recommend

went there for a quiet holiday time family. right by the beach. we can hire snorkeling set from this hotel and we go snorkeling directly at the beach by this hotel and the view was amazing. got to see fugu, abalons and a small eel. the service is good and the room is nice. the breakfast is also hood you can have indonesian or western breakfast. recommended. it is a good 3 stars hotel

humble place yet very very comfortable! i love everything about this place. we rent a room just infront of the pool and the room is spacious, the bed is very comfy, and the a/c is cold enough, across the pool is the beach, and if you have ur snorkeling gear, you can snorkel there to see some small fishes and corals, just few steps infront of your hotel room! the staffs were amazing. again, i love everything about this place, will be back for sure!! thank you :)

Pleasant stay with all the basic amenities (not television) and with good service from the staff. I stayed at the very last room just in front of the ocean it gives you magnificent view of sunset lying on your bed. You can enjoy beach at anytime it is just few steps from the room. It is a family run property so well maintained.

Very nice place to stay. Right by the beach with pool and clean rooms. Totally recommend it!
