To be honest, this was my first bad experience with an AirBNB accommodation. When we checked in we were absolutely in love with the view, especially with the view we had from the pool. But then we found a leaking toilet in our bathroom. Every time we used it, it lost water on the ground and the floor was covered in toilet water. Beside that, we had many cockroaches which was absolutely disgusting! They were everywhere (in the bathroom). Then we had an interesting chat with the hotel manager about the Balinese culture and their traditions. He told me that men are the dominant and are higher than woman. After half an hour my friend left the conversation and I continued the chat with the manager. After a while it started to get strange. He asked about my boyfriend (cause I was traveling with my feminine friend - my boyfriend was in Canggu at that time). Then all of a sudden he asked me about „having fun“ and keeping it as a secret. I thought he is just interested about how we handle situations like this in Germany and I explained him that we call that „cheating“ and „lying“ and so on. At all times I told him how close Me and my boyfriend are, but he kept asking the same question and I started to feel very uncomfortable and I had a bad feeling. I left the conversation and went back to my friend. After that we had two other strange situations, where we wanted to pack our scooters for a drive and he and his friends stayed around us calling us „hey, hey, hey“ until they got a reaction and then they laughed unpleasant. Sorry, but there were a lot of lines crossed, which is not acceptable for me at all. I hope we are the only ones who had this bad experience, but I would never ever come back and would recommend others, especially girls, to look for another accommodation. Sidenote: I booked the trip via AirBNB and tried to write a review, but since the AirBnB review system only published reviews, when the other party writes a review too, it does not get published. He obviously knows, that his behaviour was inappropriate and not acceptable, so he is not giving me a review.

No words needed! Definetely the best place we stayed so far. Stunning view, I love the style of the bathroom and the owner is not only friendly he was also interessed what our plans are will be and gave us some advice.

The location and view is really good, sunrise directly in front of our balcony, beautiful and peaceful, however the room full of dust and sands fall from the roof, chair is broken, this place need some care and fix. Quiet environment compare to most places here with similar price, Internet almost not working, my local card had no signal here. Restaurant has the best vegetable soup, I love it!!!

Great place and great staff! Clean, nicely decorated. Well taken care of. Endless pool with cooling water and a view. You can rent scooters, snorkeling equipment, taxi, yoga sessions, massage (in your room), etc. We got a lot of tips about where to go & what to do. The staff was very friendly & super professional! I would love to come back!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The staff was extremely accommodating. The rooms were great. Pool and views 👌🏻👌🏻. They also have connections to transfer ferries and dive shops to help with everything you need!

This is such a nice place to stay in Amed!! Everything is so clean, the view is amazing, the staff is perfect, the beds are super comfy. Made the owner is such a great person, he does everything to make this place perfect. I mean, you can watch the sunrise from your bed, it's amazing!!!

BEDROOM: Family room and Deluxe room with seaview. 5 people - very nice bedroom. KB with mozzie net. 1SB with privacy curtain and 1 Sb on patio. Ocean View is awesome. Clean linen. Good pillow. Quiet Ac, Seems to struggle a little because so hot , but cool enough. Downside: had to ask for water in rooms, paid for 3 x 1ltr bottle and given 2 x 1ltr bottles free , each day from then on had to pay for the water. $1 / 1ltre. . NO TV, but the views are amazing and we spent a lot of time in pool. BATHROOM: Beautiful all stone, double shower, semi open air. Hasn't been cleaned properly for a while green slim on bottom of shower walls. Very organic feeling even with the slim on wall. 2 white face washers supplied was nice. Downside: Had to ask for clean towels and more toilet paper. We were given one roll for 2 rooms. Our rooms weren't cleaned in 4days. We found out on 2nd last day by another guest, if you want your room cleaned and beds made you had to give the room key to reception, as that is the only key they have for room , to indicate you want this service. Deluxe room door didn't lock at all. KITCHEN: Full size fridge. Cooker, toaster, plates, etc. BREAKFAST: nice pancakes, toast, nasi goreng or omelette choice. All served with small amount of fruit . Tea or coffee. Simple. If you want anymore then 1 pancake or 1 piece of toast you had to buy it. Can eat in room or come downstairs. Dinner: nice choices. Room service or restaurant. Cheap meals. POOL: Clean . Small infinity pool, deep one end. Nice sitting area with view of ocean. Water was cold, not sure why being so hot . Gardens are nice. LOCATION: On steep hill , about 20 steps to rooms . 200mtre walk to 2 other restaurants, 500mtr walk to Japanese wreck to snorkel, 15 -20 mins taxi to Amed centre. Very narrow windy road. Dry , rocky terrain in places . CUSTOMER SERVICE: One of the cooks, very gentle person. Helped with very heavy luggage upstairs. Massage available on site. Driver to Amed or close beaches to snorkell is all by the Owner of Accommodation. He didn't seem to want to drive any further then 15-20mins away. But you gave him a time to come back and pick you up and he was there on time. We felt isolated. I don't know how we could see volcanoes or beaches further away, like US Liberty as he really didn't want to drive that far. We snorkelled st Lipah Beach and Jemeluk He will drive you back to Kuta for $65. Can hire scooters from him and snorkel gear. Overall our stay was pleasant.

The most warm atmosphere is here! Great people who became friends. Very cozy garden, beautiful sea view from the room balcony and amazing sunrise. Thank you, guys! Especially Made :)

Lovely hotel. I stayed only a night but I really appreciated the atmosphere. The food of the hotel restaurant was very good. From the hotel, you can see in the early morning the flow of colorful fishboats coming back. The swimming pool is also very nice. 10min walking from the small sinked Japanese boat, which you can access directly from the beach ! Finally, hot water! :)

The thing we like most about this place was the day we left! In the beginning the stuff appears to be friendly. But only during our four nights stay the owner becomes more and more annoying through his endless talking and the stuff gets more and more bored about your presence. The room itself was okay in terms of equipment. Didn't have a safety box, but a good fridge. Enough space for two people to sleep in. And the balcony overlooks the sea, yeah, if there wouldn't be a ton of power cords in the way. The bathroom was a nightmare. Every morning we had a couple of bigger insects in it which fall either in through the open roof or through the open windows which served as breakfast for an army of ants which made their way through the shower every day. The shower itself together with the sink have been useless. They have been full of stain so the water had a hard time coming out. The room got only clean bi-daily which resulted in full bins and dirty floor. The Restaurant was a joke! They had a descent menu and plenty of advertising written down on signs what they would offer. But they did have maximum half of it. And even though I would understand that something run out on a day (with only two guests stay in the Bungalows!), they didn't have for example bananas after the first day of our stay. The location was so far off the beaten track that we asked ourselves where we actually are? It is definitely NOT Amed anymore. Amed is 20 minutes away by car. As a result you had as an alternative to eat only the restaurant of the hotel above and another one beyond your own one to go to. The bungalows are located above a street which doesn't have much traffic, but therefor very noisey ones coming from cross-moterbikes of the local youth which were driving up and down from early morning till late evening. If we wouldn't have made a diving class I would have become crazy.... Defintly wouldn't go here again! As cheap as it I may look in the first place. Because at the latest through the transport to and from the place by taxi or the owner, it gets expensive!

Shower out of order, light brocken, bed hard as wood and the best part : cockroach in the bathroom. The staff was kind and we changed the room after the 1st night but it didn't change any problem, except for the light.. food not really tasteful
