Nothing extra kitchen trick, just the grandmas’ way of cooking and experiences over centuries. Everything is tasty and made with love. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Eat here as Balinese and you will enjoy it! Be brave and you will find something good new experience.

The quality of food varies a lot. Went there twice - first due to high ratings, second to give it a second chance... While Gado-gado was amazing, their vegetable soup was awful - just an artificial broth with a lot of salt and sodium glutamate (you feel the taste on the tongue strongly). The avocado-watermelon shake was a weird combination not only because of the colour (red and green making somewhat unappetizing brown colour). Spring rolls were ok, but very greasy. The staff was nice though and the prices very good, but if you want better food, head to the local restaurant close to the diving spot at the beach.

Great choice in Tulamben when you want to eat cheap and good. Tasty food, low price, quick service. They also sell and use reusable metal straws which is great initiative helping to stop ocean pollution, especially in area around Tulamben, Amed, Kubu where unfortunately can find a lot of plastic at the beaches.

I've lost count of how many times we ate here during our stay in Tulamben! Fantastic food, great prices and lovely hospitality from Rusti. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and big portion sizes too. The mee goreng was some of the best I've had in Bali. And Rusti makes amazing potato chips, you can get a bag for pennies and it makes a great snack between dives!

Went due to high review. Food was pretty average. Place was really dirty. I saw a giant rat scurrying around. Service was rude. We ordered Soto ayum (chicken soup with noodle) and was served cooked instant noodle. Not the traditional Soto ayum. When we asked if there was the original Indonesian Soto ayum, the server scoffed at us and turned away. Quite rude and condescending. Would not recommend.

Yummy food & friendly staff. I especially loved the spring rolls and the chicken soup. At the dive resort I stayed at we also used their (very speedy) delivery service quite a lot.

Good prices and very nice fruit juices. We went there multiple times and the staff was friendly and helpful and the dishes tasty. If we visit tulamben again we would definitely stop at rusti's again.

I went for dinner here for few times. First time, I ordered gado-gado whicb was mixed vegetable with sweet peanut sauce. I was surprise that they rolled the vegetable like spring roll, I would give 5 stars for food presentation! Flavour was also good and I added the sweet soy sauce to enhance the flavour. The next day, I tried the seafood curry for lunch and tempe satay for dinner. The seafood curry came with rice and the curry flavour was mild but packed with lots of flavour. Overall, this warung offers solid food in Tulamben area and I would suggest you try this place.

Tomato soup is very tasty - more watery than creamy consistency but still tasted great. The cordon blu lacked flavour in the chicken but the ham and cheese saved it. Great prices and quick service.

Ikan Pepes was ok, but not great. It is low season, I guess they don't have fresh fish. I went there second time and ordered Nasi Goreng and some juice. Both were great, esp. the juice, since they don't add sugar to it.

It's very rare for me to give an absolutely negative review, but this is the worst place I visited in Indonesia. The food is tasteless at best, but clearly not fresh tempe, half fried, no sauce whatsoever. The juice smelled like fish. During the 15 minutes we spent there we had at least two rat spotting and maybe the fattest cockroach encounter. The tables are dirty. I honestly don't understand what generated the previous reviews. I'm sorry to leave sucha negative review, but this place really has to get their act together.

Good food at an affordable price. Portions were not as big as other say, but fine for us. Lady who served us was nice but not overly friendly. I had the barracuda and the portion of fish and vegetables was small. My wife had BBQ snapper which she did not find tasty. She has had better.

During our 4 day stay in Tulamben, we came here for 4 times since the food is so delicious with excellent vegetarian and vegan options. I can particularly recommend the vegetarian curry with tempeh, which is one of the best that we had in Bali.

This is the third time my family and I have come there to eat and there isn’t a single meal I have tried that I did not love.
