Our first lunch here was actually pretty okay. The satay tempeh tasted good. Our second visit we got a ton of bugs in our salad, one of which was alive and happily walking on the leaves of the lettuce. 😫 They didn’t even apologize to us, or offer us something in exchange for the inconvenience. Then, we ate satay tempeh again, served with 8 (!) pieces of fries. I don’t understand why would they spare on the fries, the cheapest item of the whole dish?! We paid full price for everything and went to eat elsewhere right after this experience.

Food just tastes so good after half day worth of diving. yummm

We ate here every day, sometimes twice!The tempeh satay was so delicious. Fried rice and curry also very good. Good vegetarian options. It was such a wholesome, filling meal, perfect for post dive!

The best local & family run restaurant in Tulamben, Mr. Wayan the owner and also the chef is very friendly and works magic with his cooking Located on the main street of Tulamben, near Safety Stop Restaurant Pros: -Very spacious with open air design -Panoramic view at 2nd floor, with spectacular Mt. Agung view -Freshly made cooking -Extensive menu, even during pandemic, they didn't narrow the menu down like other places -Delicious! (We always eat our lunch there during our 5 days stay in Tulamben) -BIG portion -Fair Price (around 50K for 1 delicious meal with a big and satisfying portion) -Fast service Cons: -None PS: the fish steaks are kinda addictive :)

We visited Tulamben post-covid time, May 2022. That being said, not much restaurant option available around the place where we stayed (at Tauch Terminal Resort). We found Wayan Restaurant by recommendation as well. And turns out it is beyond expectation. The food taste is amazingly good. You can also check with them if they have a fresh-catch fish of the day. They have the best view of Mount Agung right from their panoramic deck.

Schöne Location mit tollen Blick auf den Vulkan. Auswahl auf der Karte ist in Ordnung Geschmack ist eher durchschnittlich. Preise sind für die Gegend in Ordnung.

If you are in Tulumben you must come here for dinner to watch sunset!!! The view on the terrace is unvelievable!!! The food is nice, prices are great! We were coming every evening while here :)

I came here every day while I stayed in Tulamben, and every time I was greeted with the warmest welcome, all the staff are fantastic. Plus, I can’t recommend the papaya milkshake enough! One of the best drinks I’ve had in the whole of Bali, I don’t know how they do it! Definitely worth a visit :)

Great food and service. Love the grilled prawns and tuna fish. Fresh seafood, they get it daily and they also have some specials like fish betutu which you can preorder a day before. Nice views of Mt agung. Edit: Went back next day for our preordered the Fish Tutu (basically like ayam betutu) where fish is stuffed with spices. Absolutely huge Tuna for 190k as you can see in last pic. Fit for at easily 3 pax. You need to preorder this as the owner gets the fish in the morning market. Tuna or Mahi Mahi usually available. Their garlic butter sauce is lovely (non spicy alternative to the chilli shallots).

Has a beautiful second floor with a great view of Mount Agung. We went there about 6.30pm and has the wonderful view. The food was quite a large portion - I ordered the special fried noodles and halved the portion to takeaway.

The owner Mr Wayan is very friendly and a hard-working boss. His roof top terrace (the only one along this stretch) is THE place to watch Gunung Agung for sunset and in the morning. If you are prepared to walk about 2km heading north (8°15'32.9"S 115°34'38.2"E), you'll be rewarded with awesome view of G Agung.

Eat at second floor guys, volcano view! Good food overall.

I've been here several times for their buffet breakfast. Very nice layout at a very reasonable price. Fruit, omelets, and various sides they rotate every day. Excellent quality, and the servers are very friendly.

We usually love this place but I ordered shrimp and pineapple salad and got one shrimp... Just ONE. Loads pineapple tho. Also had ask 3 times for drink we had ordered yest they were busy at the time but by time it arrived my friends had finished theirs. Having said that they make best mango milkshake.

Lovely rooftop dining. Food was very mediocre but large portions. Felt a bit sick after. Normally pork in a pork curry is sliced really thin and wide. And gets really soft. The pork in the curry was not edible. Curry quite flavorless. The sweet and sour chicken was quite strange.

Big portions of tasty Balinese food. I'm so sad we only ate here on our last night in Tulamben as we would have come back for sure. I had the tempe satay with potatoes, a huge filling meal after a long day of diving. They're open late too if you're night diving, we arrived at almost 9pm.

Great meal, price and service. And amazing view of Mt Agung, sitting upstairs with nice breeze blowing thru

Deliciousness, lovely owner, sambal matah to die for and scrummy pasta and a lovely waiter. Definitely worth visiting. I particularly loved the big yellow-eyed koi in the pond, his name is George and he likes watching.

Good service and good food prices. If the weather is clear it also comes with a view of the volcano. 🌋 A little on the noisey side as it is on the main drag with lots of motor bike traffic. Good combo of indo and euro food. i recommend the Merah which is the curried chicken. Had it on two occasions and was good both times. I do not recommend either the fried chicken or the pizza. Maybe high season things are better but the the pizza was undercooked and the dough was soggy. The fried chicken came in totally unrecognizable chunks, was tough, dried out, and covered in oil.

Good ambience with panoramic view. The food was hit and miss. Some of them are very good. There are lots variety though!

Me and some friends had dinner here. Everything’s nice and salty and cheap, SO much menu variety for decent prices. JUST DON’T ORDER ANY PIZZA, it’s terrible!!! Should not be called pizza or be on the menu!
