Dewata Agung Restaurant TirtaGangga

Restaurant

🫤 Mediocre at best 💔 Great service but we got stung with a 21% service fee at the end to our surprise! Most foods were bland and the vibes were just okay. Also too expensive as it’s near a tourist place 🛕 - Standout dish was the fern salad - Fried duck was so bland - Guava juice was too room temper... Good place to eat for chicken betutu because I love the spice, it's tasty and suit for me that don't like spicy. It's very hard to find a good chicken betutu (bali special food) that not spicy at all. The fried duck just ok but very pricy & it's tasteless The carp fish / gurame sweet & sour fish not so bad either. Recommend Some spaces to take pictures. It's a clean restaurant, friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Very nice view while having you meal. Food was pretty good. Order the local stuffs and you won't go wrong. Rather pricey though. The Nasi campur is 130k, that's like almost 10usd. Do not that there is a service charge that isn't told to you before hand. So the prices you see on the menu isn't final.

Great views. Good food. Amazing views. My only complaint was the alcoholic drink. My drink was pretty bad… it was all foam & bubbles. I did ask for another and it came back with just as much.

Hidden gem amongst rice terraces next to the water temple Tirta Gangga. The food was very tasty and the view was exceptional. Most people go to the Restaurants directly by the entrance to the water palace, but it is very crowded. Its worth to walk a few meters further to Dewata Agung Restaurant to eat in this peaceful atmosphere. The Restaurant is very clean and the service by Pande was great!

Terrible food: stale, bland. The view and location is spectacular. Just beware, the prices on the menu don't include an additional 21% fee! The orders (some recommended dishes for the restaurant, including a whole duck) were prepared pretty quickly. However, the rice was stale;cold and the rest overcooked;bland. A waitress said that the kitchen already prepares many dishes in the morning, at around 8:30am. The additional 21% fee combines a service fee and tax. Only agreed to pay on condition that the service fee was removed from the bill. Staff was friendly enough to oblige. Came here on strong recommendation from the rental car driver, and was non the wiser to check online reviews. Whilst there, additional groups of tourists where being herded in, including guests from at least 3 minibuses in the parking lot.

Very overpriced. Actually i don’t mind with the price bc the place is in near Tirta Gangga. But the amount of french fries they served for us?!😂 i’ve complained to the restaurant bc of the french fries and they gave us a small extra plate of french fries🙄👎🏻

We found this place nice but their Indonesian food seemed toned down for tourists. Pleasant setting next to a rice paddy and a little stream. While the dishes we tried were tasty enough they lacked a certain something you'd find in a warung catering to locals. This could be a positive or negative depending on how adventurous the reader is.

My guests and I and enjoyed lunch here...the service was very good even though there were not enough options for the vegetarian menu, but over all this place is very nice, the natural views will increase your appetite.

If you are here, it probably means that the driver recommended to you this place. I think, that drivers have benefits (such as free lunch) to biring tourists to this place because prices here are 100% higher than in any other place. For example nasi goreng costs 100k. Food was quite good but not worth 200% of its price.

The food here is good but expensive compared to other restaurant. They offer limitted Balinese food more on indian and western. If you have money to spare and craving for these type of meal then you nay visit.

Food is bland. If you are looking for spicy and authentic food, look elsewhere. Food WAY over priced. Was charged a 20% service charge too!

Good food, great service, outrages 21% tax plus another 2% for credit card when you go to pay the bill. All felt a bit Bali Tourist fake until a starving mangy black cat arrived and meowed for food dragging my rating from 1 to 2 stars. Avoid.

Nice and food is alright, the pizza is not the best though but the Indonesian curry is nice and like that they have a variety of fresh juices. It is an expensive place to eat in for Bali, but it’s peaceful. Alternatively you can choose to eat right in Tirta Gannga temple as there are other food and coffee places there for about the same price.

Food were overpriced and less portion. We ordered orange juice, vanilla milkshake, shrimp grill and Nasi Campur. The milkshake was full of ice and tastes all watery. We wasted our 402K. Think before heading inside.

Really a bad experience. Called the restaurant and made the booking in advance. Being vegetarian made the request in advance. Promised lot of options. After taking the order was told that food will take atleast 60 min to come. The guest who sitting around us were getting impatient as well because they were also sitting for quite some time and had already requested the staff few time to check. End up calling the person who we talked to make the reservation but the only answer was SORRY WE TOO BUSY. In conclusion: if you have good 3 hours in hand then only I suggest you go. Sorry can’t say much about food which Hope is as per their commitment.

The price is overprice. Nasi goreng for IDR 87k, and we have to pay the tax is 21%😅 I know this is karangasem but i don't think that the nasi goreng price is 87k. Well, the portion is big but the price is too much. I don't have the photos cause we were too hungry to take a photo. They takes time to make our order. We have to wait about 25-30min. We visit this restaurant cause we saw many cars park there so i thought it famous one😅 unfortunately it's not. The food is ok. The place is clean. Thank you. *there are no photo but i can give you proof that i visit Tirta Gangga and visit your place for lunch

Place is very chill, with a nice view, food average, very tourist oriented, don’t expect miracles. But if you’re hungry it’s perfect for a local snack. 21% service charge (5evro) on the top of the meal.

Great restaurant with beautiful view! Very serene, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered chicken, fish and noodle dishes and fried bananas as dessert, they all surpassed our expectations. The service is attentive to detail, with Pande making sure we had everything we needed. Would visit again.
