The lotus flowers are open twice daily, about 9am and 9pm. You can park beside the water garden on a busy road, then descend about 8 giant steps to the garden (no disabled access). There is the Le 48 café about 50m walk along the path on the left side, where you can sit in shade and look over the garden. Many beautiful water lilies and dragonflies.

It is quite big lagoon full of lotus but only a few have flowers. It is located between the main road and the ocean and there are coconut trees around. My hotel was 10 minutes on foot and I found it very interesting place. I took many photos. It is definitely worth a visit.

Drove all the way there to see the lotus lagoon. It was the size of a parking lot, located between restaurants, the main road, and the ocean! And guess what! At 1:00 p.m. in May, not one lotus flower was in bloom! No direct sunlight or wrong time of year? What a waste of time! A huge disappointment! No photo to take!

Beautiful photos and walkable from most hotels in Candidasa. A bit dirty and some rubbish around the area.

The photos do not show the reality of the place. It's very dirty, on the side of the road with little access to the sea

Quick walk from the Ramayana if you have some time on your hands. There's a temple across the road, however you need to dress appropriately to enter. We did meet the guys with the 'spider boats ' that was a great find

Beautiful pond with lotuses. I recommend going early when the flowers are in bloom. If you walk to the opposite side there are boats you can hire for a tour or snorkeling.

Huge lagoon filled with various lotus plants. Be sure to visit in the morning as the flowers will then be open.

There is a concrete walk around the lagoon (watch out for the nest of large red ants at one place - we got bitten). The lotuses bloom twice a day, morning and evening.
