A gem. Beautiful black coarse sand beach and a safe place for the fishing boats to park. My first time today, and apart from one friendly man retouching his boat, there was nobody, sheer bliss. As it is a bay, the current and the waves were very strong. Go in the water where the boats are lying, it’s the less unpredictable part. Don’t wear your stilettos as you’ll have to go down (and back up) a bamboo ladder.

Be very careful about the waves because they are strong and can easily suck you into the sea with rocks on each side. Could be fatal. However it's beautiful to see and you will probably be alone there. Use stairs as ladder is broken and cannot be trusted imo. Don't expect any shops, toilet or anything. One of the best looking beaches I've been to even if not for swimming (unless you are brave/crazy to do it).

Beautiful beach but DO NOT swim here. There are crazy riptides at the beach that can easily drown someone. The ocean floor also drops off very deep very quickly. I would recommend just to enjoy the uniqueness of this beach. Ladder was a little sketchy but we went down without an issue.

The road is practically a wide Goat trail (polite way to say the roads destroyed). Nice view,

HARD to drive in to this place as road is small and rocky. Need time to climb/scale down to the beach (not enough time didn’t do it) Can be skipped and opt for temple route instead

If you wanna feel Bali ambiance (the authentic one) so this beach is recommended, so clean with its black sand, and less tourists.

Nice beach with black sand and cristal clear water. I loved it. Access is bit adventures.

Absolutely magic place you should visit. However way down is via this lovely ladder and you should not swim there as its waves are really strong.

Very beautiful place! There is a stairway so you can go down and enjoy this beach. Apart from us, only local people were there.

A very beautiful wild beach with black sand and big waves!

One of the best places to visit in Bali. Beautiful Black sand along with the blue water is such a contrast! And there is not much people there at all. It was our first time visiting a black sand beach. Truly breath-taking. Worth visiting.

Amazing beach, not for swim because the waves. So blue water. The road is very good. The stairs to the beach are a little bit hide and in the end there is a bamboo ladders.

One of a kind! It's not easy to get there but it's worth it!! You should visit before it's too late!
