Great
AND
disgusting
To
summarize
a
year
of
membership
that
I
ended
this
summer:
For
10
months
out
of
12
there
were
broken
mirrors
on
the
walls,
posing
a
risk
of
severe
injuries
due
to
the
sharp
shards
that
still
stuck
to
the
wall
while
other
parts
were
fallen
off
Showers
and
toilets
would
be
shut
down
if
any
health
authority
visited
-
rotten
toilet
doors
if
any
(some
toilets
have
shower
curtain).
Insufficient
light,
some
shower
stalls
are
in
dark.
Hair,
dirt,
and
gross
clusters
of
slime
or
what
in
the
showers.
Shower
walls
are
made
of
pop
cans,
the
openings
are
sharp
and
pose
a
risk
of
cut.
Many
showers
have
no
shower
curtain.
For
the
entire
period
only
3
or
4
showers
had
curtain.
Only
one
of
those
had
light.
Soap
was
missing
almost
always,
even
after
repeated
requests
to
the
staff
over
several
days.
The
list
of
health
dangers
would
be
too
exhausting
to
make.
Think
2
approx.
10
cm
long
nails
on
the
side
wall
hurting
yout
arm
as
you
turn
around
inside
of
the
toilet
stall.
Every
day
in
the
afternoon
you
don’t
get
towel.
They
run
out
daily.
(Why
not
buying
more
is
beyond
anyone’s
comprehension.)
There’s
no
space
for
floor
exercise
downstairs,
unless
you
want
to
squeeze
yourself
in
between
tightly
positioned
machines
or
take
that
one
spot
on
the
uneven
floor
made
of
plastic
tiles.
Upstairs
studio
would
be
okay
for
individual
work
out
(outside
of
classes)
but
there’s
never
a
yoga
mat.
If
yes,
it’s
a
broken
ripped
one
and
the
staff
just
places
it
back
instead
of
throwing
it
out.
Repeatedly,
over
and
over
and…
over.
There’s
never
an
announcement
(at
least
on
IG)
when
there’s
an
issue
-
e.g.
closed
pool,
ie
you
may
end
up
keep
coming
for
swim
and
being
turned
down,
or
access
road
being
flooded
to
hip
height
(so
that
you
can
plan
your
trip
and
try
arriving
from
the
opposite
side
if
you
can
access
that
in
rains).
One
of
the
treadmills
has
never
been
in
operation,
permanent
sign
“under
maintenance”
sits
on
it.
Another
one
broke
occasionally
and
it
always
took
very
long
to
get
that
one
back.
Machines
and
equipment
are
mostly
really
good,
and
there’s
a
good
selection
including
many
dumbbells.
The
pool,
when
open,
is
a
great
and
rare
asset.
I
guess
it’s
25
meters
so
allows
a
reasonable
real
swim,
not
just
a
dip.
The
sunchairs
are
broken
and
never
been
replaced.
Things
that
belong
to
trash
are
simply
everywhere.
There’s
sauna
which
I
never
dared
to
try.
The
repulsive
state
of
the
locker
room
and
adjacent
shower/toilet
spaces
is
a
huge
giant
red
flag
for
hygiene
and
health
safety.
Rotten
door
(same
like
toilets,
moldy
and
half
eaten
wood)
is
just
not
a
good
indicator.
There’s
hot
water
in
shower.
Music
is
not
nice.
As
in
nearly
all
places
in
Bali,
the
management
does
not
respect
the
right
of
everyone
to
chose
what
they
want
to
listen
to.
Earphones
mostly
work
but
at
times
the
volume
and
nature
of
the
music
they
impose,
makes
it
impossible
to
listen
to
your
own
thing
(despite
noise
canceling
ones).
They
offer
usually
2
free
classes
in
the
morning
which
is
great,
yoga,
cardio
workouts
and
cycling
for
which
there’s
a
dedicated
cozy
studio.
Drinking
water
is
provided,
there’s
2
dispensers.
->
Overal,
when
pool
works
and
machines
work,
it’s
great
while
there
are
soooo
many
things
utterly
disgusting.
Why
did
I
go
for
so
long?
For
lack
of
options
and
with
avoiding
locker
rooms
big
time!
For
those
who
read
the
review
above
-
update
3
months
later:
a
diplomatic
lip
service
for
an
answer
(below)
and
NOTHING
has
been
improved.
Not
even
the
simplest
things
such
as
buying
more
towels
to
have
enough
for
their
members,
filling
up
soap
dispensers,
or
removing
long
nails
from
toilet
stall
walls.
