Very expensive day pass 200k, quite hot in the gym even though they do have an AC and the hygiene is schocking.... the showers and toilets are disgusting. It doesnt seem that they have ever been cleaned. Also the kitcheb area where they sell smoothies is filthy too. If you charge 200k a day you need to sort it out and clean it properly!

CCTV inside Changing Rooms! Have been a member for years and a few months once CCTV got into the changing rooms it feels like it’s been consistently downhill from there. CCTV - Theres a small sign in the rooms telling people they are being recorded while changing, but that absolutely does not make it ok. Broken Equipment - So many equipment keep breaking and left broken for months. There’s basically one treadmill that’s fully functional and the rest either partially work or are fully broken. Told some equipment would be fixed in a month but still sitting broken. Price - Have been a member for years and the price keeps increasing with zero investment back into the facilities. Even removed the local discount so now locals must pay tourist pricing. Staff - Gave 2* instead of 1 because as always in Bali the staff are so friendly. Their kindness is holding it together. I haven’t seen the owner in over 6 months. I assume the gym is a money making machine now and the care to improve and look out for its customers is gone. I would love to keep supporting Avenue as all these issues can easily be resolved. Please listen to your customers 🙏

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Enough parking outside. The prices are really high. I expect a spotless gym for that price, which was not the case unfortunately. The changing rooms are outdated, not really cleaned and smelly. There is enough equipment and space to workout. They have an ice bath, jacuzzi and sauna which is really nice.

I came here 3 times and would go back. It’s 200k for a day pass and you get an entire gym (pretty big and all you need), a locker and the recovery area, which consists of a hot sauna, shower, hot whirl pool and 2 ice baths. OK so the atmosphere isn’t like Nirvana or Body Factory etc. but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper for the same thing. Also, you feel comfortable at this gym. No pretentious Instagram influencers, no “shirtless bros.” They have protein bites you can purchase as well as healthy juices (turmeric, honey, ginger drink). Weight room has good A/C, OK treadmills and great weight machines. Ice baths are SO cold, which is great and the sauna is hot (also great). Definitely recommend.

Staff is very nice, pricing is very affordable compared to the rest of Canggu, it's well ventilated (a bit too cold as in every gym..), very clean with free filtered water and towels and lockers provided. Entrance fees include access to sauna and jacuzzi, seem a bit oldish/dirty but haven't try them. Some machines are sadly broken or needed maintenance, some more accessories and items like kettlebells would be very appreciated but overall a good quiet gym, not too crowded and everything you need to have a nice sweaty sesh.

Best gym in Bali so far. They have plenty of treadmills, couple of bikes, lots of weights and machines for most of your body parts. Here you can do a real good training. And when you are tired enough, for the same price you can enjoy several baths, Jacuzzis and sauna. What else do you need to get rid of all the Bali party and feel good again? Friendly staff that give you locker and towel (bit small) at the entrance. And there is a shop downstairs if you want a special drink or you didn't bring your clothes. Could be cheaper, but considering the atmosphere and the benefits you get I think it's worth it. I paid 450,000 rupies for a 4day-training card.

Best gym I saw so far in Canggu. But also pricy (150k for a day pass). Includes a sauna and whirlpool. Free towel and water. Functional training and boxing equipment on the top floor. The weight room gets quite busy and is a bit small. But good machines, lots of cardio and weights well organized. Everything is very clean. The highspeed wifi (80mbit/s) is a nice bonus.

Great gym. Nice new clean equipment . They give you towels for gym and for spa. There is yoga place and aerobics room with kettle bells ropes and punching bag. Loved the sauna and ice cold bath, in the morning they put couple bags of ice in the tubs so its almost 3-4 C Staff super friendly.

I believe this place offers the best price for what you get out of all of the gyms in Bali. They have a 3 story building with a recovery center (ice bath & sauna), free weights, calisthenics room, punching bag, locker room, and many other features. Has pretty much everything you need in a gym. But the women’s bathroom is dirty and smells like someone died in it. In addition the ice baths aren’t always cold enough/are kind of creepy (literally a metal box filled with water and plugged into the wall)… There’s an off switch you’re supposed to flip when you get inside so you don’t get electrocuted in case of a power surge but staff doesn’t inform guests to do it! You have to find out from another person who happens to know. Crazy. Sauna was not hot last couple times I went either. If you tell staff about any of this they don’t really care.

Gym is pretty well equipped with at least one of everything you might need but you might be waiting for it with how busy it is. Body Factory is the better gym in the area but is even more expensive. Canggu clearly needs another large gym. These are the most profitable businesses in town.

Best value gym w ac in canggu, they added an extra large ac unit this year that slaps. Be aware theres only one power rack so if you’re doing more than 10 sets of bicep curls be sure to work in with ppl. Cardio machines are full in the evening so maybe do your hour of slow walking at the beach. Cats are in charge of parking so come correct. Bathrooms smell bad but its hygienic, cleaned frequently. Idk maybe the disinfectant is Durian scented? Its rank but still giving 5 stars, because the staff are amazing and the gym isn’t trying to charge 3M a month for a “spa experience”

Great gym and staff. The place is very clean. Some of the equipments are a bit old, but they work just as fine. Sauna and gym classes are included in the membership. A lot of treadmills, couple of bikes, lots of weights and machines. My boyfriend says that they have lots of weights options for those who like to lift heavy weights.

Sorry for two stars, but really really hot in the workout area. I sweated like hell and it took me longer times between sets to just catch up my breathes and got my heart beats down for the next set. I felt highly exhausted after working out. It depends on Bali's outdoor weather, it is hot; you will suffer inside. Ventilation is extremely important and fans must be installed if ACs consume a lot of electrical power. I rate the gym's equipments 8/10. Upper chest machine is not there which is main equipment. Overall, covers most major exercises.

Been coming here for over 3 years, great staff and just about the right amount of equipment plus they added additional treadmills and exercise bikes. Compared to other gym memberships it's also reasonably priced. Not perfect but fulfills my needs so will keep coming back!

Whole of Canggu is child amd parent focussed, why can't you guys be so too? An excuse that you can't track if I have been inside for more than an hour is rediculous. It’s a gym in the truest form, no frills, no influencers, just a good place to put some work in. Just don’t expect a high end gym with all the amenities and you won’t be disappointed. Gym is reasonable priced for monthly passes but single visits are quite expensive. Price, Ice bath and sauna make this my go to whenever I’m working from bali. The gym itself is over a huge space but it’s not great, really lacking certain kinds of equipment. Definitely need some more squat racks (loads of space upstairs?), and more weight plates it’s extremely competitive to get weight plates and people just walk up to you in bench mid rep to take a plate from your station without even asking. Some more attention to the cleanliness of the mens locker room would also be greatly appreciated, it’s regularly foul.

One of the nicest gyms in Canguu. Has lots of cardio equipment, sauna, steam room and ice baths which are great after a sweat and burn workout, priced well for the area.

Great gym, everything you need as well as a Cafe and supplement shop downstairs. Clean and not too busy either.

You get free towels for the Sports-Area and for showering afterwards. It's a bit pricy with 150 k for a day-pass, but therefore It's clean and not that crowded in the afternoon. Would recommend it!

Avenue fitness is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. It’s clean, affordable and has all of the space and equipment you could need. It also has a large sauna, hot tub and ice tubs. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend Avenue enough!
