This was our first visit to Warung. Usually I am concerned with quality of food etc. Happy Warung is amazing! Food is better than in the Ubud restaurants I have been to. Chicken curry with cashew is delicious.

Okay. I love nasi goreng. So now I can’t stop testing it in every restaurant I visit here in Bali. The very first day at Atotel was very, very good …. And then we went Amed for seven days. Tried so many restaurants. It was average at best .. to the point I thought I should stop testing it and try other kind of food. I am SO HAPPY I didn’t. Here at Happy Warung the absolute best Nasi Goreng! Ever!! In my entire life 🙏🙏🙏. Most flavorful. Perfect texture with the fresh vegetables, perfectly tender chicken and the fried ribs was just right not to dry and not to greasy. Now I probably have to eat here every night 😅.

We were staying in the hotel across the street and wanted to try this lovely local Warung and we were glad we did. It is a lovely place with kind people and delicious food. It felt really local to us and it was lovely. Much choice in food, as well as Balinese as other kinds of food. If we would have stayed longer in Ubud we would have done there again.

We stayed in Secluded Jungle Villa, just opposite the Happy Warung. The owner of our Villa recommended to try the food in Happy Warung. The food is fantastic, juices are so fresh and tasty for a small price. I ordered cashew ginger chicken and banana pancake with ice, sooo yummyy! The people who work there, just melt your heart with their beatiful smile. The very friendly atmosphere and ricefields view with the most delicious food make you really Happy!

We walked down from our villa on Kelabang Moding, starving from a busy start to the day and happy to grab a late lunch wherever was closest. Little did we know we were in for one of the best meals we had had on Bali. The beautiful view over the rice fields we had spied as we drove by on our way into the village shortly before, and the food exceeded even the sights. The spring rolls were not only the best I've ever tasted but are my pick for tastiest on the planet! The juices were delicious too, and our main meals - a beef curry and a Balinese fried rice - were superb! Staff were super friendly and you'll be surprised (pleasantly) by the prices. We had dinner here multiple nights during our stay. Each meal was delicious and the two of us would get an entree and meal each and the total for everything was normally 10-15AUD. The owner is wonderful and we hope to come visit again soon.

This Warung would be worth a visit only for the friendliness and good spirit of the owners. The name is absolutely to the point! We tried our first Gado Gado here, fell in love with it and tried many more Gado Gados in Ubud, Gili Air and Amed, but this was the very best!!! All the other dishes were absolutely fantastic! Not to be missed. 6 stars out of 5!

So glad we found this trip during out stay in Ubud. About a 5min walks from our Villas and the prices are so cheap like most warungs. Friendly owners, delicious Balinese food and great juices! Make sure to get the fried banana dessert! My suggestion is, if you are staying in Bali to find as many warungs as you can and eat only at those. Pocket saver and you really get to indulge in their traditional food.

i absolutely love this restaurant, it was my go-to during covid when i couldn’t go too far, the food was delicious and the workers were nice and amazing, i recommend the pumpkin soup, it was delicious!!
