Really awesome venue for a car show. Interesting placements of cars. I did find a 9MM bullet on the way in but it hadn’t been shot yet so probably fine.

I went for the Makers faire. Lots of exhibits, demonstrations, robots, food and music!

Our first time here it was not noisy and crowded. It's a small place at the back of the naval shipyard. They have several choices of local micro beers. I had the bright cider and I find it light and good. My husband had the Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo Mexican lager. I ordered the vegan black bean chili and it was good. I had to pick it up at the food truck outside. It came in quickly less than 10 minutes. The service was quick and friendly. It's good to bring in the family as the space is large enough to accommodate groups of family or friends. Overall, this was a good place to hangout and enjoy some drinks & food.

A beautiful Sunday in November, I attended a 5k that took us through the streets and buildings of this once thriving community. This was an amazing journey as you could feel the history, and the energy that once filled the streets. It was very fulfilling to walk the path that my great grandparents could have once walked while stationed there many years ago.

This island has soooo much potential!! Nice houses with very few residents. The Vino Godfather Tasting room (Tom is great, the wine is yummy🍷) and Mare Island Brewery are musts to visit!

Great place to visit. I will have to visit the museum next time I head this way. Wonderful cocktails at Savage & Cooke (didn't eat, wasn't hungry) then had a great porter at Mare Island Brewery. Will definitely return to try the food and drink more beer.

Any of the businesses here would be nice anywhere else. The water is nice, there is some history. This probably should have been redeveloped more thoughtfully, maybe fewer historical buildings because some of them are fairly unremarkable or with much significance - like the coal sheds. But still a nice place.
