This place is to die for. Have never been dissatisfied. Nice friendly staff, cozy, pleasant atmosphere.. Excellent food..Portions are nice size.. 😋

This place is Amazing!! Everything we ate was full of flavor & off the charts delicious! This is not just a place to eat great food, you can tell they take pride in creating a welcoming experience. We are just passing through on vacation, but this will always be a must when we come to Vallejo.

This place is a gem! First day we were here we had pancakes which are the best pancakes I’ve had on my vacation so far. Today I had the French toast which was amazing as well. You can’t got wrong eating here! Go eat here! This is a must stop and eat here place for Vallejo! The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and food comes out fast!

They're having a "pay what you want" promotion sponsored by a local rapper for 2mos. Went there and it was a little crowded and the food was on point. I would like to thank the young man that is grounded and cares for US still! It's a commendable gesture. God bless you.

Momo's Cafe is SO GOOD! I moved to Vallejo less than a month ago and have been here for breakfast like once a week! The portions are large and everything tastes amazing. I haven't had anything I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. The pancakes are fluffy and tasty and the omelettes and breakfast potatoes are spot on. Also, I love that it's a family owned and run spot, and all of the staff are kind and welcoming!

I’ve eaten at some pretty high-end restaurants in my 26 years but all I have to say about this place is WOW. The major tell without even tasting was seeing the texture of our side order of scrambled eggs! The preparation of it was absolutely immaculate. I ordered the steak/chicken fries and my wife ordered French toast. Each dish was truly nothing short of excellence. The staff was also very friendly and very accommodating. If you want EXCELLENT food and even better service, then you’ve found the right place.

Pictures of menu were outdated. The new prices scared a few customers while we were there. They scared me to be honest. Only reason I didn't leave is cause wife insisted we stayed, and cause I was really hungry. Once you're seated, you order and get food pretty quickly. Portions are large and delicious. Staff is pretty cool. The house made salsa is great. Is 20$ for an omelette worth it? Come make up your own mind. Will I be back? A strong maybe. Check'em out

This place was close to another stop we had to make and so we stopped by to check it out. The food was scrumptious. They shared a green homemade salsa which was off the hook delicious and the chicken and waffle was mouth watering good. I ordered the chicken steak and it was yum too. My daughters apple juice tasted a little watered down but other than that the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I would definitely go back here.

Hadn't eaten here since they relocated! Needless to say they were on point as usual! Enjoyed my waffle combo and my grandson enjoyed his pancake breakfast! Was very pleased with our meals and the staff was very friendly and attentive! Will definitely be going there again

My only wish is that I could give it a 0 or something LESS. This was my 3RD time going on a weekend for the last two months and each time it was CLOSED . If you call, NO ONE answers the phone and the voicemail is full. I took 3 buses from another county trying to patronize the place, but I'm sure not going to waste my time or funds returning. Not enough courtesy to notify customers if they are not going to be there by voicemail or website. Extremely unprofessional and poor business sense.

Not only is the food delicious the staff are SUPERB! When I was eating breakfast I noticed and unhoused man outside the restaurant. The waiter went over over him and I thought they were going to ask him to leave. Not at all! The waiter was taking his order and came back out to him to serve him some food! How beautiful it is to live in a world where humanity comes before a profit!

OmG… I don’t know where to start? Okay, so I will start when a lady greeted me, which was very nice . Then I grabbed a seat. Greg was nice enough to ask me if I was ready to order, so he handed me a menu and I looked at it. I had so many to choose from! I thought the steak burrito seemed very tasty, so I ordered that. The workers there were nice also. And I liked their T.V. Lol. Anyway, I ordered the burrito to go and when I got home I had my first bite with the mild salsa and that was the best bite of a burrito I had in a long time. It was fresh … The right temperature… I tasted all the flavors… and it was exquisite. I felt like I had a 5 star meal! I recommend to buy a steak burrito here, you won’t be disappointed. Momo's cafe has partnered with LaRussell (the rap artist) a few times to offer what's called "Proud 2 Pay Cafe" where for a select few weeks ANYONE can eat at Momos for whatever they can afford to pay. Well last year, this is how I first tasted the amazing food at Momo's cafe. My brother in law (who is a college student) also got to eat for free. These Proud 2 Pay weeks allow ANYONE and EVERYONE an opportunity to get good tasting, good quality food for whatever you can afford. During this time Momo's becomes buffet style & their menu options are limited by what is prepared to all this sliding scale menu. Don't confuse a limited menu with poor options because the options are still plenty & delicious.

Simply one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Can’t believe that I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and never visited before. Won’t be the last time either.

Great food and very generous servings (I have split entrees before and we both had plenty to eat). Most of the time the service is also 5 stars, but I had an unfortunate experience last Friday for breakfast. It was during Vallejo restaurant week when Momo's advertised it was offering 20% off any item. I mentioned this to the waitperson when I asked for the check, but there was no discount on my bill when she brought it. When I asked her about it, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about until I pulled out my phone and showed her the flyer for Vallejo Restaurant week and also pointed to the sign they had in their own window advertising their participation. She finally seemed to understand and then went to correct the bill. When she finally returned after 10 minutes, I noticed the total was essentially the same, and when I looked at the bill details, I saw she had added 18% for a service charge. When I asked her about this charge, she acted like she didn't know what it was and offered to remove it. I asked her again if it was her tip (I was prepared to tip her 25% on top of the bill to make up for the discount), but she just shook her head and acted embarrassed. Finally I just left her an extra buck on top of the 18% to bring it up to close to what I usually tip. Normally when a restaurant adds service to a check, they will do it on larger tables and will clarify that practice on the menu. In all the times I have visited (including the Sunday before when I went with a friend), they have never put a service charge on my check, which makes me think she just thought I was cheap and wouldn't tip her (single diners get the shaft sometimes, unfortunately). While the food was great as always, the way my waitperson treated me will make me hesitate before going here again.

My family and I have gone to Momo's since they were on Springs Rd (MANY YEARS) and have always had good experiences. Today July 4, 2023 was a different story. My husband and I went in, were told to pick where we want to sit, we picked our table. Before I even sat down I headed to the bathroom. If you have been there you would know that you have to walk past all of the waitstaff and through the end of the kitchen which also has staff in it. I have been to this bathroom numerous times so I knew where it was. When done I came out and sat down. My husband then went to use the bathroom. On his way there the staff told him he couldn't use the bathroom and that they didn't have a public restroom. My husband came back sat down and told me what happened..I was really surprised! The waitress walked over and I asked he if he could use the restroom, she said no, they don't have a public restroom..I said not even for paying customers? She responded, no and points to a sign that says no Public Restroom. Now, I'm not sure why this was not said to me as I walked through just moments before but being that we picked Momos as the place we wanted to spend our money, it didn't feel very welcoming. Needless to say, we decided we would not be staying...we probably won't be going back either. We now live out of town and would most likely need to use the restroom before or after eating and there are so many other great places to eat...for instance Homestyle Cafe which is across the street and will allow paying customers to use the restroom! Highly recommend!

My husband and I brought our son here to celebrate the awards he got at school. I wondered why the staff looked so depressed but as I say there I realized why. They were serving such great food and allowing customers to pay what they want. I did not see 1 customer leave any money and even worse they all walked out without even saying thank you! I just want to thank the staff for their unappreciated work. Your food was amazing and we are picky!!! Thank you so much we will be eating here again!!!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Would definitely recommend them. We happen to come during a promotion where you eat for free and tip whatever you want it for your service. Excellent promotion. They seem to accommodate everyone who came. This will last until the end of 2022.

The staff is great. Food is good and plentiful portions. You gotta try the pancakes. My favorite was the chili cheese omelet but that was discontinued. Please bring it back!

On a road trip from DFW and found this cute 7 top neighborhood Cafe. It has incredible breakfast served quick and as ordered! Fantastic customer service that is hard to find these days made us wish this was a little closer to home.

Everyone ordered different meals and EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!! Not a lot of seating but definitely worth the wait!

. Portions for good-sized staff very friendly. It is a small place but well worth going to. Menu is extensive and everything we had was very tasty. Be a little pricey but well worth it.

An excellent place to have breakfast, the food is very good, the staff is incredibly friendly, every Sunday I can I like to go there for breakfast, the coffee is not the best but the atmosphere is what makes it an excellent place. recommended
