Luxurious
hotel
indeed.
Rooms
are
among
the
best
we've
experienced,
and
so
is
the
pool
and
amenities,
5
stars.
Hotel
doesn't
have
much
of
a
lobby
to
speak
of,
unlike
typical
hotels
of
this
caliber!
Furniture
in
lobby
area
is
uncomfortable.
Staff
were
mostly
professional
and
courteous
(3
stars).
I
booked
2
rooms
a
month
prior
to
arrival
(family
with
2
younger
children),
I
arrived
a
day
earlier
than
the
rest
of
the
family
only
to
make
sure
all
is
ready
for
their
arrival.
2
connecting
rooms
were
not
available
as
requested!!
I
was
placed
in
a
single
room
"temporarily
"
for
1
night,
to
be
moved
to
another
room
next
day,
so
I
couldn't
unpack.
Second
day,
still
no
connecting
rooms
were
available
and
we
were
repeatedly
promised
rooms
"in
15
minutes
",
all
the
way
until
7pm!!!
All
we
were
offered
was
an
apology
after
another.
My
wife
and
kids
were
falling
asleep
on
the
couch
in
lobby
(after
a
21hr
trip
from
the
US).
To
our
surprise
we
were
finally
offered
2
rooms
on
2
different
levels
of
the
hotel.
We
had
no
options
but
to
accept
given
the
circumstances
(prepaid
stay
through
a
travel
agency).
For
10
days
we
had
to
take
an
elevator
back
and
forth
between
the
2
rooms.
Mr.
Emanuel,
general
manager,
and
Ms.
Roula
a
manager
were
both
aware
of
the
issue
and
all
we
were
offered
were
useless
apologies.
Food
is
beyond
terrible.
We
prepaid
several
hudred
dollars
for
breakfast
buffet,
tried
it
for
2
days,
but
quality
of
food
was
less
than
2
stars.
Roberto's
restaurant's
food
was
even
worse.
Hotel
wouldn't
credit
us
for
the
breakfast
buffet.
We
ended
up
canceling
the
second
stay
at
the
Ritz
(after
returning
from
Jerusalem).
Fairmont
across
the
street
offered
a
much
better
experience
(except
for
the
rooms
which
are
smaller,
but
still
acceptable).
Not
a
total
disappointment
but
definitely
an
inconvenience.
