Clean. Neat. Spacious. Good quantity. Original taste of hummus. Pita bread is freshly baked. Falafel rules! A bit pricy but worth it . (For 2 tea, I hummus, one fatteh we paid 12.3 JD)

Delicious Jordanian food. Limited menu , they are specialized in hummus. clean place and good service. Crowded and busy all the time, they should settle the noise issue . No smoking area, they close it. Which is something I didn’t like. 😞

First time for us here, 100% on cleanliness and organizing, social distancing measures are followed strictly. People preparing the food behind the counters are compliant with the highest health and safety standards. The food itself is divine, absolutely spot on. Presentation, flavour portion size all fab!

Me and my had lovely brunch at Abu Jbara. The food was great, we got the typical arabic breakfast which included; hummus, fool, falafel and Fatte. My mom got the spicy falafel sandwich with slices of lemon she loved it! Everything was delicious and delightful. The service was excellent since we were about 14 persons our waiter was patient and sweet.

One of the best places to have Arabic fast food. Hummus, foull, falafel, fateh, fresh hot bread, and much more. Vegetarian friendly. Clean, well managed and maintained. Good quality of food. Good service, friendly and helpful staff . Nearby parking

Food is good, service is good, atmosphere is cosy, yet it’s so EXPENSIVE for having a popular local food/dish, because nothing special in their hummus or fool only the falafel are special, you’re just paying a lot for the experience itself and the fancy decorations, I did it once and I’m not going there again.

Abu Jbara is a popular Jordanian restaurant in Amman, and for good reason. The food is delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere is lively and bustling. I visited Abu Jbara on a Friday morning, and I was astonished by the crowds. There was a line for takeaways that extended to outside the restaurant, turning around the block! The dine-in line was luckily shorter, but it still took me a while to get a table. The food hall was full, and I came to know later that Abu Jbara actually has three floors, all of which were filled with customers. Most of the customers were Jordanian families, which is a testament to the restaurant's authenticity. I ordered the hummus, foul, falafel, and tea. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait. The hummus was among the best I have ever had. It was creamy, smooth, and flavorful. The foul was also very good, and the falafel was fluffy from the inside and crunchy from the outside. The bread was served fresh and hot from the oven, and it was the perfect accompaniment to the hummus and foul. My overall experience at Abu Jbara was excellent. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff was friendly and efficient. However, I do need to highlight that the prices at Abu Jbara are quite high. The cup of tea that I ordered cost 1.500 dinars! This is more than I would expect to pay for a cup of tea at a restaurant in Jordan. Overall, I would definitely recommend Abu Jbara to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Jordanian dining experience. Just be prepared to pay a bit more for the privilege.

Total disappointment the least to say. Food subpar and overpriced. I assure you that many unknown restaurants would easily outdo them with no effort. All dishes left half full because we lost appetite to eat for lack of taste (we were four) . I have been visiting Jordan every year for past 25 yrs, this will be my last time at abu jbara as it’s not worth it anymore. Best part was the hot tea! I strongly recommend skipping abu jbara and try many other places. Jordan still has the best hummus, falafel, fool and many other food items but not here.

Although this may be seen as breakfast food in the West, locals come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is excellent, so if you're looking for great falafel and hummus, be sure to check this place out. Also, the menu is mostly vegan. I think the fettah has yogurt in it, everything else is vegan. Not that vegans get very far in Jordan. 😁

Best sit-down hummus & falafel place in town. They have the perfect bread for eating their delicious hummus- and foul-based dishes, and their falafel cracks it's so crispy. Quick service despite the crowds, though they could be a bit more proactive. The space is not the most engaging, but you really go there for the food. The only complaint is that they don't offer pickles!

Abu Jobara As simple and efficient as it can get, take it directly to this place if you want to experience the traditional hummus and falafel dishes Jordan is famous for. A very spacious seating area that is well ventilated so you don’t worry about leaving the place smelling like food. The service was prompt and efficient and every person working there knew how and when to do their role. Not a cheap place for such traditional food, but if you wish to have a memorable experience about local food then this is the place. Be careful not to order large quantities because they don’t have food to go so you will have to eat what you have ordered if you don’t accept it being thrown away. Bread is served fresh and adds to the delicious experience, but again don’t ask for much of it if you don’t want to leave some behind. Expect to pay around 10 JD per person.

Very good vegetarian options at budget prices and what experience locals eat. Freshly made pita breads still puffy and fluffy filled basket. Good for a meal or snack.

Amazing place to go for breakfast or dinner when it comes to traditional Arabic food like hummus , Falafel and more , it’s a busy restaurant , it’s recommended to go before sometime to book a table or get a take away food , highly recommended but it’s quiet expensive compared to other restaurants that offer same type of food

The place is clearly targeted for tourists only. Extremely overpriced and the taste of everything is average at most. Servers have no patience and just want to get their shift over with. Many other falafel and hummus restaurants that taste better.

Authentic Jordanian breakfast restaurant. Good taste and reasonable prices. The service was good and fast. I recommend it for people who think trying traditional food of the country is a must. Limited menu selections what’s still done in a good way.

If you're looking for a great place to eat in Amman, you can't go wrong with this restaurant. The food is amazing, and the vibe is awesome. You'll feel like you're in the heart of the city, surrounded by friendly people and lively music. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

Skyhigh prices Just regular traditional Fool and Falafel, nothing unique You can have the same dishes in public places and cheap restaurants for a quarter of the price. Do not go there. Over rated for no clear reason. Maybe because it is a 5 stars Fool and Falafel.

The most popular Hommus and many other kinds If you visit Amman don’t miss this restaurant

  • 3/5 Omar A. 8 months ago on Google
Good place overall, enjoyed breakfast with the family. But, the staff were not that friendly with us (I assume because there was a lot of people so I understand). Also, the tea is way too overpriced, half our bill was worth tea. However, the food was delicious and worth it, and I would recommend for smaller groups of people.

Probably the best falafels in Amman! I absolutely love their falafels and sandwiches. It's considered a little bit expensive in comparison to other hummus joints but worth it.

  • 5/5 Ayesh A. 9 months ago on Google
It's a an over glorified traditional Arabian breakfast done right. The quality of food and service are perfect. The cost is high in comparison to other establishments but there is no comparison. These guys are the champs when it comes to falafel, hummus, foul, etc.. The restaurant ambiance and atmosphere are great too. Server and busboy were attentive. A must do if you visit Amman.

Always fresh and tasty… It’s a perfect place if you wanna taste authentic hummus in different arts for good prices. Service is good but you may wait for extra few minutes because the place is kinda crowded, and of course it’s not a cozy and quiet atmosphere… Recommended :)

The best and tastiest Jordanian breakfast dishes (Hummus, Foul, Falafel, Msabha, Qudssia etc.) This is an upscaled restaurant in Amman serving these local dishes and sandwiches. Be prepared to stand in a queue, but it is well worth it.

Every time I visit this restaurant it is crowded and you have to wait for 15 min if you are dinning in unless you want to take away it will take around 10 mins. Best dish I like is fateh, foul, and falafel. It's like you are in heaven. So delicious and mouthwatering. You will never find such a good restaurant with such a good taste.

The place is so crowded on holidays that we had to wait for 30 minutes, but after all, the best falafel I have ever had in jordan, the took 10 minutes, which is good, another thing I noticed that dine in prices are higher than take away prices. Here is a video I took while waiting on the line

Absolutely delicious. First time in Jordan and we were blown away by this quick and easy find. Food was amazing.

  • 3/5 Qais A. 2 years ago on Google
Overpriced Restaurant for traditional Arabic breakfast, though very small quantities, many of which are mixed with other ingredients, for example "Fool" in few quantities is mixed with Tatbeleh sauce to make it look as a full dish, but their own baked bread is surprisingly delicious when served hot and their Falafel and Hummus are really palatable.

I ate at this place during my last trip to Jordan and this is my second time. It is clean, tasty however expensive comparing to other authentic local restaurants. It’s a famous chain and you have to visit.

Service is fine, but can be improved big time. The food taste of falafel and hommos is great. However the foul below expectations. It has no taste. The prices are bit high, however the service fees and taxes to be added to prices shown on the menu.

🫤 Food was not good. Meat shawarma was oily and tasted so bad. This place used to be the best about 7 years ago, but recently, it’s been awful. Try Reem or Neshme if you’re looking for good meat shawarma in Amman.
