I was in Amman for a short visit and I was craving Chinese food. Did an online search for the top Chinese places in the city and saw that Ren Chai was on top of the list. I was skeptical at first because the online reviews and articles can be inaccurate very often. Took an Uber and went to the restaurant. We were lucky to have reached before the rush because the first question was, do you have a reservation? We didn’t 😁 luckily, a table for three was a available. Here is the feedback: 1. The restaurant is nicely decorated and there is a very nice outdoor terrace that opens when the area is shaded. 2. Menu offers options that satisfy every taste. 3. We ordered the spring rolls, fried shrimp balls, chicken corn soup, hot and sour soup, chicken with cashew nuts, tenderloin with black pepper sauce, Singapore noodles, and fried rice plus sodas and water. All get 5 solid stars ⭐️ 4. On the price, considering the ordered amount of food, if found that 72 JDs was a reasonable amount. Conclusion: very recommended and deserves the spot at the top 👍🏻

The food tasted good, quick service. The chips they serve as a starter is yummy. They have a "hungry hour" discount which is something we didn't know about when we went there. The place is reservation-only. You can find parking along the street, but you may have to walk a little.

I had a taste for some Chinese food while in Amman and my Airbnb host recommended Ren Chai as one of the best. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken with noodles and the host at the restaurant was so nice he gave me some frew shrimp chips. The food was delicious and you get a good portion (I easily made it 3 meals).

Very nice authentic place to spend your time even with a big company 👍🏻 We were 6 people and it was nice to order few appetizers and main dishes to share. Staff is very friendly and helpful with a choice of food, serving is pretty fast also, food is delicious, especially dumplings and cashew chicken 🥟 Nice chips as a snack while waiting 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Nice green area outside 🌳 there can be some delay even if you book, but I think it’s only cause of holidays (we went on Eid)

It’s with no doubt best Chinese restaurant in the country. Offers original Asian food. Great variety of dietary preferences. 5 star service with 0 flaws. Lights very very dim. Tables should be spaced a bit more.

Great food, great service and atmosphere outside at night during summer. Was able to walk in without a reservation - seems they will accommodate as long as they have space.

I had dinner here two days ago food was relatively good but I specifically mentioned that I have a shrimp allergy and even though the waiters acknowledged that information I believe there was some contamination in the food or sauces as I woke up the next morning with an allergic reaction that I know is triggered by my allergy to shrimp. I love the restaurant but I really wish it would take more care to this kind of information as some food allergies are very serious.

Delicious Chinese food can be found here in addition to other Asian dishes. A great family dining place.

I have not been to Ren Chai for many yeas, until a few days ago. We were invited by some friends and were 7 people in total.. It was a mixed feeling to see that we ordered the same food we usually used to many years ago.. The duck wraps, crispy beef, beef Kung pao, sweet and sour chicken, hot and sour soup, cream of corn soup with crab, vegetable noodles, shrimp with bean sauce, veggies with bean curd and a few more dishes.. I was happy to say that they still taste as good as they were. The sad part is that I felt it has become an outdated restaurant that could be developed into much more especially with the plethora of fusion and gourmet developments in East Asian food. Anyways... The food was excellent but the setting is rather loud with all people around you.. Go and enjoy.

A nice 5 star Chinese restaurant, we loved the place, nice and very helpful friendly staff, good prices, very clean place, they turned a residential villa into the restaurant, comfy atmosphere and there is an outdoor area, they give you a welcome treat, we ordered 1- Sweet & Sour Chicken. 2- Sichuan Chicken. 3- Vegetables Noodles. 4- Corn Soup with Chicken. 5- Hot Soup. 6- Rice with vegetables. 7- Teriyaki Beef (I think). All of it was good specially the sweet and sour chicken it was my favorite. The one thing I didn’t like that they have Pepsi Cola not Coca Cola 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good Asian food restaurant. It's a bit hyped up by people and reviews, however I thought it was pretty regular. I mean food is delicious there is no question but nothing extra special. Atmosphere,service and setting are all exceptional.

Good atmosphere and a better service but the food was so salty and the rice so dry! The best thing was the sea food soup and the banana dessert!

I get reservation for 2 person and when we arrive they give us the worst table they have in the back corner I can’t see anyone from staff and no one can see me from staff , even though the restaurant was empty and my table was the only table which have different setup than other tables ,not ready as supposed to be .the staff was not very nice at the same time they were nice to other tables . I couldn’t believe I finished my food to leave away, worst experience thanks ran chi !

Great superb food if you are in the mood for Chinese food. Portions are well sized, the taste is nice. The place is clean, medium sized, cozy & offers smoking & non smoking areas.

Chinese food tilting to indian food and no knowledge of what’s on the menu, unlike the authentic real Chinese restaurants. But overall taste of Chinese dishes (non fusion ones) are great .

I understand the need to copy the west, but not having a bathroom hand-shower bidet in the bathroom is an issue. How much more disgusting can you get? Bathroom is also broken and no hand soap. I wonder how the employees hygiene is with no hand soap and bidet!

Poor food quality compared to the price you pay. We ordered sweet and sour chicken (DO NOT TRY) it was very bad. Their dimsum are good + we ordered sushi from Yoshi, the sushi was very good (Hence the 1 star). Our hostess was very rude and not welcoming at all, we felt like she was just waiting for us to leave.. overall not worth what we paid for at all!!!

Very good chinees food restaurant. Near to amman Good location. You need to reserve the place before go. They kept us outdoor table. Its a nice place Food are very delicious . Price is reasonable . Staff is very friendly and helpful . Clean and spacy inside. Real chinee taste . Love the food.

This is one of the places in Amman that goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service and makes you feel welcomed! We enjoyed every minute of our dinner! The food was delicious and there was a huge variety in the menu. The ambiance of the place and the music took the dinner to another level! I highly recommend this place♥️
