Great free contemporary art museum. The Re-Rooting exhibition in March-June 2022 was an insightful look at agriculture and water use in Jordan, including the negative effects of USAID white flour on the local wheat market.

Perfect place to have a drink in the morning when the city is waking up. Perfect place to read a book with a cup of Arabic coffee during the sunset. Perfect place, that's all! The contemporary art collection is a great way to learn about the ideas that shaped the thinking of the Arab artists exhibited here. The remnants of the Byzantine-era church blending with the structure from the first half of the twentieth century make it the perfect place to let the tranquility wash over you in the midst of this chaotic and fascinating city.

It is an amazing place to visit with a lot of art galleries with great paints and art pieces. It was the old house of Khaled Shoman and his sons made it a museum for art including his paintings and other artists paintings. Khalid Shoman foundation is consistant of 5 houses each one of them is built in a special architectural way with their associated gardens. These house were the first houses in Amman old city and important historical events happened in side them. Their properties has been moving to important people till reaching Shoman's family. This family care for art and promoting it is huge and this is why those houses were made as museum to be visited to tell their story about the past events happen inside them. The staff in the foundation is so kind and helping and one question is enough to make them talk for hours. You can easily tell them that you are interested and they will show you all the place. There is also a hall for different cultural events like films ....etc. recommended place for tourist

This place is simply magical, it's the perfect place to unwind on your day off! The history, the old structures, the calmness you feel amongst the trees and the soothing cup of coffee you can drink after your tour! I could spend the whole day there just walking, thinking, and reading. Very clean Very organized The staff are really friendly and they are willing to explain the history behind it all if you're willing to ask. Overall, I definitely recommend going there whether you're a tourist or a local.

One of the most visit destinations in Amman, for anyone interested in art, history and old Amman. They have a very welcoming employees, and a great Cafe.

One of the most beautiful cafes to sit in on your day off. The view is really nice and the umbrella shades are indispensable lol! It can get really hot at around 11, but a cup of lemon juice will keep you there for another hour and a half.

Going down hill, after visiting the gallery of fine arts just found this amazing contemporary place, full of nice varied spaces, with sculptures, some historic ruins, a library and an exhbition - "The pomegranate and the sleeping ghoul" . The view is also amazing and it allowed me to rest and to be isolated of the chaos of Amman. Love it!

This is a unique place in Amman that you should visit while you are there. The view from there is amazing where you can see the old city of Amman.
