A hidden gem, an amazing panoramic look out point, over to the dam, incredible scenery. A guy selling really good coffee there too, only 1 JOD. He was very friendly and chatty. A couple of other guys selling rugs, tapestry and other Nike naks, again very friendly, not at all pushy. A great place to stop for a break.

An Exotic panoramic site overlooking the Mujeb Valley and part of the famous Kings Road 35. Site is so beautiful and so quite that a roaring engine of a coming car can be heard miles away. Also images from various locations on Kings Road 35 are included. Kings Road 35 is a 250 KM long, it connects the city of Amman (Capital of Jordan) and the ancient city of Petra in the South. This famous Road is NOT the main road to Petra, just runs parallel with the main desert highway.

Easily one of the best and most expansive views I've ever seen. Known by the locals as the Jordan Grand Canyon, in my opinion the best view in Jordan (including Mt. Nebo). A must see on the King's Highway.

A lovely view of the Moujib valley from the Kings way. There is a lookout point where you can stop and have some tea, buy water and a snack and there is a rest room.

Excellent place to watch the sunset or sunrise from. The locals that live here have set up a little tea/coffee shop and a toilet for visitors. The views are spectacular and if you're up for it the locals are happy to take you into the upper canyon of Wadi Mujib on a hike. I would definetely reccomend it especially after October when the official trails become closed.

Excellent view, something worthwhile taking the time to absorb the enormity. Fun place as well, good tea and coffee

Viewpoint of the Wadi Moujib Canyon, Jordan's Grand Canyon, which ends at the Dead Sea. Unfortunately, the air was foggy, so the view was not the best. However, the owner of the modest cafe is very helpful and funny, and the cafe shed is full of witty signs.

Great place for a sunrise. Advantage: everything was empty. No tourists, no pushy locals.

The Grand Canyon of Jordan Very impressive

Very nice to look at, it goes steeply downhill and then steeply uphill again on the other side of the dam. It is impressive what forces prevailed here to shape this valley. The “Grand Canyon” is definitely worth seeing, but you should check whether it makes sense if you are traveling for a longer period of time. It is an inhospitable area where it can get very hot. At the beginning of November 40 degrees in the sun and there is no shade... No tree, no bush. There are a few small huts, but we found them all abandoned.

As views and wind goes - this place has both. Wondrous views of the Dam, and valley below. We stopped to take in our views. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Amazing place to just relax, away from the city noises but not very far from the nearest town still. The staff is very helpful, stays on site and makes every effort to make sure their guests are comfortable. Please call them in advance to arrange for food and it'll make things easier for them. They don't know proper English but tech-savvy so Google translator helps a lot and If you try speak Arabic after translating on Google, you might just get a hug too. It's a scenic place and the sunset should not be missed - check my pictures.

It’s nice view but if you come this way, YOU ARE NOT COMING FOR ANY ACTIVITY 🥶 This is north Wadi Mujib which can see only the dam. The canyon visit in at the south next to Dead sea 😉 Visit Wadi mujib for me bc I missed it by the protest 🫠 Enjoy driving 🤍

Fantastic view!! Definitely plan a stop 😍 We cycled from Amman to Aqaba at the end of October 2023. There was a seller with drinks at that point, but all the shops/shops on the other side were closed

Unique landscape, which includes deep gorges, rugged cliffs and a tiny river flowing at the very bottom. The view from the top of the site is breathtaking and if you ever find yourself in the area please stop and admire the scenery.

Canyon-viewpoint 4 free. The lookout ließ in the serpentine road down to the dam in the roadside. You cannot miss this point because it's one of the spots to stop at the side of the road. The View ist quite impressive because nothing is standing in your way.

Insane views!!! Well worth a stop on the Kings Highway. Just make sure you have a good hirecar as ours couldn’t quite handle all the super steep hills to and from this viewpoint

Majestic view! It overlooks the Mujib Valley and the Mujib Dam. It is about an hour away from Amat and a barbecue by car. The road to Mujib itself is a wonderful journey. The view is captivating. I recommend going in the morning and in the spring when the weather is clear.

Nowadays called Mujib Valley, to Christians this is Arnon Valley mentioned in Bible where Moses stopped while travelling from Egypt to Promised Land, as this spot was right on Arnon River, which is currently not flowing due to Nikon Dam upstream, but trekkers use its bed for trekking. Currently people stop at bend of road for nice view of canyon or to have coffee at nearby Aldi Bedouin Coffee shop. One can have nice view of Mujib Dam lake in distant. This is also starting point for trekking in Mujib Valley upto Dead Sea or for shorter 3-4 hours trek. The trekking can also be towards east.

We chose this road from madaba to kerak even though it is longer but the views are worth it.
