Great restaurant serving delicious food. The atmosphere is very nice, especially in the garden in the open air. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The food portion is reasonable. I liked their Mezza’s a lot. I concluded my meal with their Turkish coffee, which is recommended. I strongly recommend that you try this restaurant and talk a walk in the rainbow street after that.

This place has it all; cozy ambiance, nice food, live music, friendly and attentive staff, and reasonable prices considering the level of service. Especially appropriate if you have guests from out of Jordan who wish to experience old Amman’s vibes. You need to make a reservation to ensure having a table in the right place as per your preference. Waiters offer honest advices regarding what and how much to order, so feel free to ask for their recommendations. No drinks are served in this place. Expect to pay between 20 and 25 JD per person.

One of the best place to dine in Amman, weather it was for breakfast, lunch or dinner or simply a nice drink and a shisha. The atmosphere is amazing and the outdoor area has so much greenery. Food is flavor rich and the service is very good

Very nice outdoor restaurant and cafe. Food was really good, service was excellent too. I met the owner, he is really nice person. He gave information about the history of the restaurant and his family tree. It was fantastic time. We will be back again for sure, to be on the roof top at night.

I don't know where to start or when to end! This place is amazing! The food served perfectly as per Arabian taste, warm and tasty 😋 Drinks and juices were superb 😋😋 Sweets are so delicious 😋 😋 😋 The singer equipped with very nice voice and the songs selection were perfect with all International Middle Eastern songs 🎶🎵 Decoration of the place is so cozy and feels really in Arabian place with the beautiful colors. Definitely recommended for everyone, local, middle Eastern and western 😊

The ambiance was very cozy - the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right touch of elegant music playing in the background. The service was decent too. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. I ordered the chicken steak with lemon sauce, and it was definitely tasty and satisfying.

Very unique place with amazing views. Ordered dinner and enjoyed listening to the wonderful singer. Best tables with astonishing views were all reserved unfortunately 😕. Service was excellent and prices were somehow exceeding the average. Will go back there soon I god's will.

Found this place while exploring Rainbow Street on our first night in Amman. What an incredible start to our Jordan food experience. Fabulous old house that’s been converted to a restaurant cum Inn. Age old traditional recipe served in a fabulous family setting and the ambiance is perfect for outdoor dining. Finger licking good small dishes with incredible kabobs and kunafa. To top it off they off Sheesha to enjoy with your meal or after. Highly recommend Mijana!

I ate here as a solo traveler and ordered chicken kabobs, grilled vegetables, and garlic lebneh. I ended up with enough food to feed three or four people, so I took a very large bag home with me. The chicken was tender and nicely spiced, as was the mix of grilled vegetables, and the Lebneh and bread were perfectly done. I only wish that the waiter, who was very friendly as attentive, had warned me that the portion sizes were so huge.

We came for dinner. There is a large outdoor seating area and the atmosphere is nice. They have baskets hanging as chandeliers and it looks cool. The street has hanging basket lanterns too and makes for nice photos for Instagram. The hummus is very good and the bread served with it is fluffy and and soft. It makes for a great appetizer. I could practically eat it alone as my meal because it is so good. I would definitely recommend ordering some even if it is just to try the delicious bread. They have local food, as well as sandwiches, burgers, and even pizza. I had chicken shish kebab which came with fries. I like fries, but for some reason I felt this would have been better with jasmine rice. The chicken was very good but a tiny bit spicy and left a tingle in my mouth. One downside for me is that a lot of people had hookah (sheesha, argileh) after they ate. At least it has a semi pleasant smell. Be sure to check your bill. They added something extra to ours that we didn’t order. Not sure if this was a one time mistake or a trick to get extra money.

How can this restaurant have a 4.5 score with 1k+ reviews? This was one of the best meals of my life, so let me tell you why: The atmosphere is amazing; it's not fine dining or "posh", but very warm and refined. The service is great. The food was even better; every dish on the table was delicious and flavourful! We spent 21 JD each, plus shisha (6.5 JD), and while this is a bit high for Amman we did order a lot of food, and there was nothing that I could have wanted more in quality and quantity. Bonus points for the interactive menu at the entrance with photos 😉

Our first proper night in Amaan and we look for a place to have a good time. As per reviews, i find this place. The place looks really different from the whole neighbourhood and i get the feeling that we are in the right spot. The ambiance: Its a huge place. Took a tour myself to notice so much variety of people enjoying themselves. The food: We decided to get a Shisha(hookka) . Took blueberry flavour. It was good. Not too strong. Just right. I ordered a Jamaica cocktail which was great. For main dish, some chicken and rice. Others got some meat and it was very tasty. Try their bun shaped breads. They are light and fluffy. The service: No complaints. Only good things. Perfect score here. Overall impression: Great place to be. Not to be missed. And easiest place to crash and have a great time with friends. I don’t think pictures do this place justice. The food was incredible and the ambience beautiful. The vine leaves mezze being especially insane. But everything was good, really. We left very full but wishing we had some space to have more. Prices not really low but still reasonable.

Amazing atmosphere where to spend the after sunset hours. Amazing food but there is a big problem: there is no al alcohol. We got a mix of local food to share and very nice fruit cocktails. Consider that they have a 26% of service commissions.

Huge restaurant with a lot of people. Not only tourists but also a lot of locals. The restaurant is beautiful with a big garden and nice lanterns around. Food was very nice. We had a great waiter who was very attentive and even brought a little fire heater close to our table.

Very cute place off the Rainbow Street. Easy to find with their colorful decoration. Menu options are extensive. I only had Latte and Chocolate Pie, both taste delicious. There's place to charge your phone in the corner table. There also multiple screen showing the game and I'm sure this place is buzzing during game season.

It is located in a cute street decorated with rainbow colored lampions and that ambient stretches into the restaurant, which was very cool. Also, the terrace looks stunning. We just had the best dinner in our lives at this place. The staff is insanely friendly, caring and helpful. The food was so delicious, one could barely describe it with words. The atmosphere was outstanding, with great vibes.

Amazing breakfast buffet! It’s impossible to try everything. A lot of traditional food, but also freshly prepared crepes and omelettes. Great variety of veggies, spreads, few sweets. Very friendly and attentive waiters. One thing missing - fresh coffee, not instant. Anyway 10/10! Also great value for money - it cost 7 jod.

Mijana A restaurant and coffee in the Rainbow street It's one of the most famous restaurants in Amman and every one you ask will make you a recommend to visit it. They offer mostly everything of Jordanian food, all type of drinks, all type of sweets and smoking (Shisha). The place are very nice, calm and contains a lot of plants which make you feel comfortable. The staff are very professional and kind and they make the atmosphere amazing. The prices are very reasonable compared to the quality provided. Hightly recommended to visit for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just for a drink and sweet.

Lovely gem of a place just off Rainbow Street. Been back multiple times to try more of the menu (and I'm vegan, my partner not). Served by a man called Jalal both times, he was very polite and patient and has a lovely smile. Best place I've eaten in Amman and great service. Definitely recommend.

Nice place, not very quite for a calm evening but good for people who like live music. Good prices compared with surrounding places offering similar dining. Parking available for a fee, however free parking is quarter a mile away. Food is delicious, drinks are good too.

This place is right on Rainbow St decorated in beautiful lights and lanterns. We had a warm welcome, lovely menu, we wanted it all. Everything we ordered was delicious

Excellent food and service. More on the pricier side but seems to be the norm for Amman except in downtown. Atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately the rooftop only opens at 6 pm so guests have to sit downstairs for lunch.

I had a horrible experience today,i called in to make a reservation for me and my family. I was told they would charge $10 per person for open buffet, I'm talking about the food they sever in the morning. I ended up paying almost $80 , waste of money, they use the cheapest ingredients you ever come across, as well no organization, they would expect everyone to serve himself with same big serving spoon . Come on its covid era , u should do more precautions. On top of that we ordered coffee, we were told it was not included, we were ok with it and willing to pay extra, they brought cold coffee for all of us after waiting for a while , if you need something good luck to get hold of servants, they kept us waiting for a while just to come and check on us . Bad customer service. Stay away

Our group had a wonderful end of travels celebration here! The Mijana staff were wonderful to set us up in a nonsmoking room on the second floor. Right by the fireplace, great views. And they also allowed us to add to our tables as friends from Jordan joined us! And then, out came the bread, salads, food and drinks! Many delicious Italian and Jordanian dishes! It was fabulous! All around fantastic location, service and food! If you are on Rainbow Street for dinner, do make it a “must try” restaurant!

This is a dry restaurant, no alcohol. We ordered starters: hummus, babaganoush, fatoush and the portions are big. Then some of is we had mixed grilled, it comed with some veggies as you can see in the pictures. We recommend to share the mixed grill. One of is had steak and found it delicious which means the meat is good here. Service is good. Putting 3 stars because the food is average to my taste.

Great restraunt right off the famous rainbow street that has several dozen lit lanterns hanging from the streets. The food isn't cheap and for 2 people it can get costly however it's very good . One of the best dinner we had in Amman. The local food options were just amazing and delicious. Be careful, the portions are big, so I suggest you to first go small on ordering, then order more if you're still hungry. The staff was very friendly, the athmosphere was just magical, and the outside street is very colorful. The only thing I suggest to the staff: Please put photos of meals in the menu, it is hard for foreigners who are unfamiliar with Jordanian cuisine to pick a meal based only on the meal name (which mostly consists transcribed arabic). We encountered no-photo-menus everywhere across Jordan, which is a big minus for a tourism oriented country.

Beautiful place with indoor, outdoor and rooftop seating. The food was excellent, the service quick and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The vibe was fantastic with the outdoor seating comfortable with swings, good lighting, heaters and overall great decor. Our waiter Ramzi was very attentive and friendly and the manager Ahmad Ali was also very welcoming. Great outing, would recommend for groups of friends and families.

Mijana is a magical place. Full of lights and dreams. Not to mention it is located on the rainbow street in Amman. The food was as good as homemade and the taste was absolutely delish. We have ordered hummus, fattoush salad, amazing potatoes with garlic and rice. However, the winner of the dinner was the banana toffee cake.
