We are two young women travellers and had our worst experience of Jordan at this place. We went to Tammouz to have Sheesha and watch football. We reached for 10PM march and few customers were around so we felt comfortable sitting in. The moment we arrived, the server came in with two bottles of water. We saw that none of the other tables had those and had water in a glass jar with lemon slices instead. We didn’t need water so thought we will return these later. We were there only for 45-50 min (half time) and many people started to leave so we decided to leave as well. The Sheesha was for 5 JOD so we were absolutely shocked when we saw the bill as it was for 13 JOD. We inquired why and saw that they had charged 5 JOD for water and 1.75 JOD as World Cup tax. Even the restaurants never charge more than 2 JOD for water here. We told them that we don’t want this water and haven’t even touched the bottles, and they refused to take them back saying that’s a ‘Jordanian custom’ and it’s for ‘opening the table’. We have returned these bottles in other restaurants before and they have been really polite saying no worries (e.g. Al Khal restaurant nearby - highly recommended). It was quite evident that they just wanted to take advantage of us being tourists and also young women, and scammed us out of money which was quite a terrible experience as you don’t expect such things at least in such well established places. This place only cares about making money - A MASSIVE RED FLAG particularly if you are a tourist.

My wife and I we went for a dinner date and walked to Tammouz next to were we live in Alwebdi. Our server Ahmed was so good he paid attention on our order and he kept coming with fresh water when we needed . Food was very tasty and delicious and I had a hookah to finish my dinner . The seating outside was very nice and nicely covered give you some privacy for you and your partner. If you are close make sure to try it and experience Tammouz . We will be back and thank you for the excellent service

The place is really cozy and quiet + the service is pretty good especially Ahmad! Totally recommend… :)

Good food and nice place. BUT, huge plants with very small portions of food + very expensive!!! We ate Labne, cheese man2oshet zaatar, omelette, small plate of livers for 65jd!!! On top of that, they serve water in jug with lemon slices and mint very high price. Will never come back for sure. Not recommended.

The staff were very friendly also nice seating, but the food was so bad, the apple pie i ordered was a rock i couldn't finish it and the salad was not even up to casual standards. I recommend them to look into their ways of cooking food even up to normal standards.

A bad experience, it's not comfortable for families nor ladies and the staff are unprofessional. The food is expensive, the coffee is not fresh or good.

Very nice family dinner! Shared mezzos suggested by the waiter. Simply amazing! Traditional main courses were stunning and the orange+basil drink was a blast! Turkish coffee with a hint of cardamom was the nicest way to end the meal! Really, really, really awesome experience.

Really loved this place! Food was good, service was terrific, and the atmosphere was incredible - loved all the plants! We asked the server for bayde (eggs) w awarma (sheep meat/fat), but they did not have it. The owner came out and greeted us and sent his staff to the butcher to get it for us. I was super impressed by the service and the quality of the food. Check it out!

Had a wonderful dinner of hot and cold mezze at this local restaurant. The fatoush, the spicy potatoes and the labneh were stand-out! Amazing food and excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended indeed.

Pleasant, quiet locals place, good but limited Jordanian food, plenty of shisha, red wine was something of a mystery to our very friendly hosts but on our showing a photo, they found some (we suspect from the nearby liquor store).

A nice cozy setup, but unfortunately service is really bad, food is just edible, nothing special, shisha is really bad. Worst part is the attitude of staff which was very offensive with unacceptable communicating skills. an experience that I never wish to repeat or recommend.

This is the second time we come. We came back because the food was amazing, they have the best shesh barak I’ve ever had. Also they have the best chicken liver with pomegranate molasses. Service was excellent, they are very friendly. The atmosphere is so nice. Highly recommend. Also they are very pet friendly hosting a cat and her babies.

Low quality of food and service. My soup was uneatable. At least, the personal is kind, but I do not really recommend it. Furthermore, they don’t accept card or cash on your local value, meaning you’ll probably have to withdraw cash and spend on commission and fees. Really really a bad experience

One of the best experiences in Amman ... the environment.. the food .. the friendly staff ... everything here makes me come and enjoy everytime... its a must visit

I've been here a couple of times for the good food and the oriental vibe. Breakfast was good. The Mana'eesh were a little salty, which I think is because of the white cheese. The tea was great with Fairuz in the background.

Great food, good service, we used the translator and we made it! Súper recomendable!!

Very nice and attentive staff, excellent cuisine, pleasant ambience and the world's best Hummus! Not to forget ... we have been here several times, the quality has always been excellent, the prices are super fair and Mo is simply the best!

Literally just arrived in Jordan, and came across this lovely restaurant. The service was amazing. They helped with recommendations, as I wanted to experience local food. And probably one of the best spots I stopped at my whole journey.

From now on this is my only direction for real good and tasty food in amman. Amazing

Very warm and welcoming staff. Good extensive explanation of dishes with recommendations which did not disappoint. Quiet and relax place with different plates than the usual. Highly recommended to spent your dinner here.

Food is great. Location is cozy. Not great for children or big parties. Staff is friendly. I wish the staff would wear a uniform so you can recognize them. The place is clean and the area is nice for walking. We took a walk to Habibah in “wast al balad”. It’s a 15 minutes walk. Would definitely go back :)

Food was good and quick and the place was very nice but one small point I must make is while I was waiting for the food one of the staff members in the kitchen made an inappropriate moaning woman sound which was very inappropriate, We hope this never happens in the future. Thank you.

The place is so cozy, you can go there with your family You can set inside or outdoor, but also outdoor is prefiable. So delicious, the presenting is so classic, I like the 🥭 mango Salad the most.

Pros: - Lovely atmosphere, - Delicious food, - Nice decors, - Tasty shisha. Cons: - Service was terrible; the food arrived on batches, so we ended up finishing some plates and pausing waiting for the rest to arrive. Rice was the last thing to arrive on the table after we are done eating while it’s a side dish that compliments other plates. Who would want to eat plain rice on its own !!! - There was only one waiter serving the entire place! - No card payment, luckily there was an ATM machine next door. - Some items in the menu were not available - There was a hand writing on the menu book All in all ; I would still go there again knowing what to expect in terms of service

We can highly recommend this place!!! Best food we had during our 2 weeks trip through Jordan. The service and the hospitality is brilliant as well. Perfect location for a night out :)

Very delighted to visit this place very tasty and the service is amazing

Nice outdoor seating area. A bit noisy because it's on the mainstreet and there's construction but that's not a major problem. The food was good but the portions were on the smaller side. Prices were moderate, not cheap but not expensive. There was no water in the restroom sink to wash which is the reason along with the small portions I am giving them a 3 star rating.

This place is over rated. Although the staff were very friendly and the place is very nice, the food was very bad and all meats are frozen and cheap quality. We asked for steak and barbecue, both came after one hour and we couldn't eat them. However I recommend this place only for cup of coffee and tea only. Don't even thing about any food.

It' my favourite resturant I'm in love with the details of this place i feel like I'm at home with the luxury of someone serving you with love .. we had a great time last visit the staff was so like our family.. every thing there was perfect it's not my first visit and sure not the last
