One of my absolute favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Amman! I love going there especially during summer time ☀️ The pastries are soo yummy and so are the salads. The juice is also fresh and tasty. We tried their dessert and they’re pretty traditional, my friend liked them but they weren’t to my liking. I also tried their 7th circle branch and the food was just as good, but I prefer the outdoor seating in this branch as it’s much nicer.

I really like this place; nice location on rainbow st with outdoor seating; a very good option for breakfast, I try and come here once every time I visit. American coffee can be improved upon, but the food is delicious, we had fatayer, the Haloumi cheese with tomato, olives and Zaatar, the sujuq one is to die for, and the pastrami was good too. Friendly server. All in all a very nice experience.

I'm retired from the Fine Dining industry in California after 26 years. I'm visiting from the U.S.A. My girl friend & I live in Rainbow St. I love 'Fattayer.' in Jordan. After we walked earlier into another 'Fattayer' place and they were out of spinach; we decided to walk on Rainbow St. to find another place to eat. It was our 1st. time dining there after we walked into it & started talking to the guys about the menu. They were so helpful, friendly & professional. The service was great. The 'Fattayer' were made with different kind of dough, that i ended loving more than the standard 'Fattayer' because i don't like standard-bread that much. Their soft, thin, crispy and delicious crust nailed them 5 stars. Caesar salad was also very good. Karkaday drink was perfect and not too sweet. My girl friend also loved her lemon-mint drink. WE had a great time. Thank you guys. with love

I arrived in Amman Thursday late at night and left my wonderful Carob Hostel super early in the morning on Friday to find a spot to drink my 1L Turkish coffee and discover the city. Unfortunately for me, Friday is their free day. Like our Sunday in Europe. The city started to be in movement, souk was open with screaming guys on the street. I found an ATM and decided to hit the stairs direction the famous Rainbow street. On my way I saw a 🐫 and fabulous. An open coffee. At the beginning I didn't really understand what a feteer was. But then after 3 coffees I decided to take one and it's kind of tinny skin calzone filled with whatever you want inside. The cheese one was delicious but take care of your diabetes and if you can't share it, take just half portion (fully enough, trust me). So I was at that place on day 1 and I return there on my last day for another Feteer (garlic chicken). I took half this time and it disappeared in my stomach in a second. I don't know if it's really typical but it's so damn good. So highly recommended when you get tired of hummus 🤣🇯🇴❤️

At this place they have outside seating and they wouldn't let us have the dog next to us. Ridiculous. Really poor customer service.

Go there for breakfast. Prices are reasonable and portions are quite generous. For instance, the image attached is half a portion.

Yummy and cheap! Small and cosy local restaurant, with a nice atmosphere and a large terrace (see video and pic). They serve different kinds of a typical Jordanian bread with various fillings, both savoury (see pics with halloumi cheese) and sweet (see pic with coconut and raisins). Simple and delicious: I would go there again!

Tasty cheese and filodough pies. If you love melty cheeses with herbs, grilled in a stone oven, then this place will make you happy. Enjoy the varieties with either basterma as thre dried well seasoned aged meat adds a layer of flavor to the grilled cheese. Overall great experience and can be consumed for breakfast, brunch as well as lunch or dinner.

The most overpriced, slow service, rip-off shop I have ever been to in Amman. Please avoid it at all costs. Had to wait thirty minutes for this lame sweet pancake. Nothing special; priced at 12 dollars. This is ludicrous and a day light robbery.

Wouldn't highly recommend. staff are not that friendly and prices are overly priced in comparison to the quality of the ingredients. Also the dough was very dry.

Was taken to this restaurant with local friend. The owner was very friendly and the food delicious. I especially liked the sweet with tahini and date syrup. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you.

The caprese fateer was too garlicky and the cheese and honey fateer had really creamy fatty taste that was unpleasant. I was really annoyed by the smell of cigarette from customers smoking inside which is unacceptable. The service was very slow.

  • 4/5 Mohammed Al S. 1 year ago on Google
Overly priced with below average quality. Fateer with apple cinnamon is thin and you can hardly taste the apple filling. My son seemed to enjoy their Nutella fateer. Black tea is 2 JD each.

  • 5/5 C S. 4 months ago on Google
Loved this place. We had a late lunch at Fatatri in November, sat outside and we had fantastic and delicious fateers. Half is plenty for 2 people - they're big! It was a lovely place to eat and rest after walking all afternoon along Rainbow St. Staff were friendly and luckily it was a quiet time of day so not crowded and no smokers 😊. Chris, New Zealand

It is not worth the money! I went there today with my family, no bathroom to use And when I asked I want to wash my hands, the waiter gave me an attitude and then allow me to use their kitchen sink which is super disgusting and not clean!!!!!!!! And there were 3 waiters at the restaurant chatting! I was skeptical to eat base on their hygiene!!!! And I was right food was so bad and low quality! I asked my food should be cheese free and the spinach tasted cheesy and buttery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dad told me his meat pie was made with the cheapest meat in the market and we paid for this worst/ low quality and no respect to customers 20 JOD! Highly not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give 5 stars for the nice staff , but for the rest 3 stars! as a fatayer in Amman, it's over over overpriced ! I forgot the delicious taste when i saw the bill beside what we ordered. it’s a one time experience.. The orange juice is not fresh at all i don’t recommend it. thanks for the staff.

The pastries looks good the location is nice the food is ok not great, for the value you pay you don’t get 50% of the value the chicken is chewy, and the cheese is not the good flavor too oily

  • 4/5 Mohammad A. 1 year ago on Google
Delicious but overpriced regarding what's served. The portions are very good and filling, the taste is great. Staff needs to be friendlier, and it took very long time for our simple order to be served. Overall, enjoyed it but not enough to pay the overpriced amount, same quality available for much less prices.

The atmosphere in the area is beautiful, the design of the restaurant is beautiful, the service is average. As for the food, we tried regular chicken fajita, and we tried spinach with feta. We did not like the taste. We tried dates with tahini. The taste of the mixture was excellent, but the dough was not good.

  • 5/5 Sebastiaan 11 months ago on Google
Amazing place for lunch. You should definitely try it when you’re on Rainbow Street. My daughter had half a Feteer with cheese and we shared a spinach/feta and a sweet coconut, raisins and sugar feteer. Amazing good food!

  • 2/5 hala w. 9 months ago on Google
Bad experience The food was good but the service was bad, it took them like 30 minutes to serve the food however it was wrong. And I don’t recommend to visit in summer or you will eat with the flies and bees. And it was not very clean.

Fatatri offers a true taste of Egypt in the heart of Amman. Their pastries are made with love and care, and you can truly savor the traditional flavors. The knafeh is a must-try; the crispy crust and gooey cheese make it heavenly. A fantastic spot for indulging in Egyptian treats!

The weather was perfect but I would not recommend this whole street for kids, so while trying to sit and enjoy your food you will go through lots of noise from cars and people and let alone the smoking which is very normal in Jordan..

  • 1/5 Ahmed A. 7 months ago on Google
I’ve been to this place so many times, food is definitely delicious, always paid with visa. I tried to order again today and the guy said we don’t take visa, and when I told him that I paid using visa before, he gives an attitude and says no it’s broken. What if I was to order while seated and ate my food and everything, and when I wanna pay I give you visa… what are you gonna do at this point?

Poor service. Also, the previous statement by the owner that most restaurants in the world don't allow dogs is definitely not true. It depends on the country (Germany for example allows dogs even inside all restaurants). To not allow dogs in the outside area in the most touristy part of Amman is a bit of a joke.
