I caught JETT Transport from Amman to Aqaba. The bus service was as expected. What I found strange was on the way from Amman to Aqaba we stopped in the middle of nowhere with no facilities. Where as on the way back we stopped at cafe with facilities. The website is not the greatest as it is hard to understand the schedule.

Let me just start, the experience is not 5 stars. This is not luxury. However it is convenient and the best way to get to Petra without shelling out big money. The roundtrip total is 20 JOD per person. Even if you could get a nice deal from a local rental car agency, you would still pay ~60 JOD on the fuel alone assuming you rent a compact vehicle. What I love is that it truly is timely. They will try to arrive and leave at the designated times. Somethings to know 1) If you're getting picked up from the 7th circle, the bus will arrive around 6:50. So even though the ticket says pickup is at 6:30, they mean from the Abdali station. The bus will leave from this location at 7am. 2) There is a restroom available at the office down the stairs. 3) Each trip will take about 3.5 hours from this location. ~1.5 to a break point in the middle where you can buy snacks, drinks, use the restroom, stretch the legs etc. This is about 20 - 30 minutes. 1.5 hours to Petra. Same in reverse. 4) The bus leaves pretty promptly at 5pm. It will leave from the same parking lot you arrive. There will be several Jett buses so try to arrive early so you can ask the workers which one is going to Amman. The bus had USB A chargers, foot rests, regular sized seats, AC, and a folding table. It also had curtains to block the sun. The bus did smell like wet clothes. I assume they take people from the Dead Sea or even Aqaba in their wet cloths. I can't recommend this enough. Again the experience is like 3.5 or 4 stars. The cost and utility is easily 5 stars.

The most economical way to travel from Amman to Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba. If you are doing any day trip, I highly recommend taking the Jett Bus. The Jett Bus 7th Circle office offers ticketing. You can also book your tickets online. There's a waiting area. The bus is not exactly luxury, however its comfortable with AC, toilet, and USB charging ports. They are reliable and will depart and arrive on time. They do stop halfway for breaks and snacks/meal.

It’s a reliable bus company, usually on time, however, I have never been seated in the seats I had reserved. There is always some excuse or another for why I need to switch my seat; today it just so happened that the guy sitting in my reserved seat didn’t want to sit somewhere else! Also, a lot of people on board didn’t wear masks. Back in their terminal they let customers cut in line when buying tickets. They try to make you take a number, but you still end up the last to be served. I wish they were more professional dealing with their customers.

We took the VIP buses, which are great. Good personal space, quiet, equipped with USB ports (for charging phones) and outlets. Sandwiches were provided (not vegetarian or vegan), drinks are provided every hour too (our trip was 4 hours long). AC was on; it was 40° something outside, but it was super cool inside the bus throughout the journey. The guy serving the passengers is nice and keeps smiling. The only problem was that there was no Wi-Fi provided despite them saying that it would be.

I have booked a bus ticket on 7th October at 7 am for King Hussain Bridge through your Jett-Khb application and made the payment, but unfortunately there was an error with the application and it shown only a reference number and asked me to contact the office number but they were unable to help with this regard by issuing the ticket or refund the money!!

The best and cheap way to get to Petra. According the schedule should be 3 hours travel but it extended to 4 due one stop at 7th circle and restrooms.

Clean and comfortable busses, very professional and friendly staff. If you stay in the area highly recommend to try the best Amman pancakes and ice cream in the Sundae Bell Coffee & Creamery while you wait for the bus.

One of the worst companies ever , i believe jordan must have a big much better travelling / transportations with better standards and policies and online system, loser company, management, system and uncomfortable busses

The best that you can check, book, and pay for your trip by JETT mobile app, it is very useful

Slow response. The security forces you to get an order ticket and wait for an order while no order is going on or activated.

Good, but there app is not very smart and they can be unresponsive sometimes. They still offer the minimum desired service to say the least

I arrived at this station, but they booked me an overcharged taxi which is 4 times higher than the normal price. I have no idea why they sent me to another station with that scam taxi

Never answer the phone! Either they leave earlier than the actual time or they're late! Say they can't stop the bus for 1 minute so the passenger can catch up to them, then they stop the bus for other people!

JETT Transportation is a very good company for traveling around Jordan. Especially I would like to thank Mr. Nabil, who took care of us during our trip to the Dead Sea. He was very kind and very helpful, he helped recover lost property from one of our fellow passengers, who were not able to speak Arabic. He ordered security from the hotel and coordinated staff. He was doing it despite his busy schedule. We were taken care of like we were on a private jet. Mr. Nabil definitely should teach others how to take care of passengers. He also recommended against using a public beach, despite having no interest in that, recommended good resorts, guided us toward taxis, and showed normal/usual prices so cab drivers would not cheat us while we were going back to the airport. He also showed us some practices on how to negotiate prices. Mr. Nabil is definitely the best driver in the company.

I don't recommend going to Aqaba by regular busses because the seats are uncomfortable and crowded. Book only the VIP buses.

They are okay however i think they need to make buses a bit more comfortable but there are no other options unfortunately to compete and make them enhance the service 😕

A very reliable source of intercity transportation. The Aqaba Stantion waiting room is more modern and welcoming than the Amman 7th Circle.

Mostly jett is one of the best transportation companies in Jordan but they have two or three old busses you'll be unlucky if your journey was on one of them

  • 4/5 Hani M. 1 year ago on Google
Very good busses and service. Do not call them, no one picks up the phone

  • 5/5 Imge K. 2 years ago on Google
Positive: Air-conditioned, clean, punctual transportation service. We paid 12jod for 2people(from Petra to Aqaba). Reasonable price. Negative: I could not book the tickets online from my country before my arrival to Jordan. I was able to select the tickets but when I pay for them, the payment always failed. (Tried 4different cards have limit and allowed for international payments)

The service is good, the buses are getting old and sometimes the seats are broken. But unfortunately it is the most reliable service.
