New pieces are made by local women, Jordan Craft Center empowers them to produce these items, based on traditional embroidery & weaving techniques. The result is Exquisite finishing of collections, unlike any crafts shop we have visited in Amman. Mr Ahmed is a knowledgeable source of information on crafts of the region. He shares his knowledge with passion, our visit was one of the most interesting encounters we've had in Amman. We will certainly keep in touch with this treasure cove and its gracious owner!

Enchanting and charming. One visit is definitely not enough. This shop is culturally rich and full of great quality locally made crafts. The two story shop is full of history. Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. The ambiance is amazing. One of the best crafts shop in the area.

Dropped by this cute and charming shop while on holiday from Malaysia. Ahmed, the person fronting the store, was very friendly and welcoming. The fact that monies spent here goes towards supporting Jordanian craftsmen, artisans, and scholars make this place extra special. My teen daughter Ranya was especially happy with her mug. :)

This is a very charming place selling nice items produced by local people, mostly women, and supoorting those in need, students, women, and at once preserving the traditional Jordan craft. It was a very pleasant visit.

This place is a hidden gem. It's out of the way, but a lot of the other shops selling gifts or souvenirs are selling cheaper, and lower quality products. This place sells truly handmade arts and crafts. I got a stack of gifts here to take back to the UK. Highly recommend a visit.

The Jordan Craft Centre is a gem. A real find in Amman. Stocked with a variety of cultural treasures from cushions, carpets, glassware, clothing, jewellery, and textiles to name a few, it is well worth a visit. Ahmad the owner is very obliging & has a wealth of knowledge regarding heritage and culture. Whether it’s a gift you’re after, or something for your home or yourself, you would be mad not to visit this unique centre.

If you are interested in Palestinian embroidery, handmade crafts,unique vintage pieces with a story this is the place to go. I have been looking for this book for a while and finally found it in their centre at a great price. They also offer delivery. I ordered the book yesterday, recieved it this morning.
