The whole secret is in the bread! Crespy outside, and fluffy and hot inside, filled with backed sesame seedsfrom outside. You can also order bread, backed eggs! cheese, and falafel, and make your sandwich, on self-service table outside the bakery. I can say it is one of the best-taste traditional arabian bread ( Kaa'K) in Jordan.

Salah Al-Din Bakery, located on Google Maps, is a hidden gem that I highly recommend visiting. With its specialty in sesame bread, this bakery offers a unique and delicious experience for bread lovers. The aroma of freshly baked sesame bread fills the air as soon as you step inside. The bread is perfectly baked, with a crust that is golden and crispy, while the inside is soft and fluffy. It's evident that great care and expertise go into the baking process, resulting in a delightful texture and flavor. What sets Salah Al-Din Bakery apart is the ability to customize your sesame bread by adding grilled eggs and cheese. This additional touch takes the bread to a whole new level, creating a satisfying and indulgent treat. The combination of the warm, savory bread with the smoky flavor of the eggs and the creamy richness of the cheese is simply irresistible. To complement the bread, the bakery also offers a variety of teas and beverages. Whether you prefer a Don't hesitate to pay a visit and indulge in the unique flavors offered by Salah Al-Din Bakery.

You make your own Kaak(local sandwich). You can choose the ingredients and prepare your own sandwich which is very nice. The bread was one of the best kaak bread I’ve had in Amman. Really good price and nice experience. The only problem was hygiene except that it’s definitely worth to try!

Traditional manual bakery. It's not the usual fancy place, but their buffed bread is quite delicious. You can stand up and make your sandwich with spread cheese and zaatar.

This is probably the oldest sesame bun كعك بسمسم bakery in Amman. Made fresh every hour or so. You can take your sesame bun كعكة, spread it with cheese or za'tar, or you can eat it with their special baked eggs. Super tasty

This is a bakery that locals choose to get some sandwiches. They come and pick one from the freshly cooked bread and prepare their sandwich with the ingredients they want, eating it like a stand up breakfast or lunch with free tea. The staff was so kind and friendly, they prepared for us with oven baked eggs, cheese, tomatoes and some sauces. We didn’t have jd exchanged yet and it was not possible to pay with card but they said it is on us with such a generous attitude. We exchanged and paid for it anyway. It was 2jd for two sandwiches.

An authentic street breakfast local experience. No seating, you go pick up the freshly baked bread and stuff it with baked shelled eggs ( khameem eggs) it’s similar to boiled eggs but oven cooked instead of water boiled) and there are choices of falafel and cheese. You add whatever you want to your sandwich and you pay for how eggs, pieces of cheese and falafel you used. Zaatar and red pepper paste are complementary. Sandwich costs one dinars at the most.

Part of Amman heritage sites that must be visited..it is well known for its fresh Bagels which is called Jerusalem or Sesame Bagels (Ka'ak) which is extremely delicious.. It is given for self service there with your choice of steamed eggs.. Cheese.. Or dryed thyme. The place is very simple and basic..but wouldn't recomend using the tools (spoons and knifes) there out of hygienic perspective

Very nice idea to prepare your sandwich by yourself, no need to be professional, fresh bread, grilled eggs , you can get a delicious dinner for less than JD dinar.

One of the oldest restaurants in Abdali area. You can made you own sandwich and choose what you want to put in it, like eggs, cheese, hot sauce, zatar (theme), and tomatoes. Also they have some other sandwiches like chicken liver, falafel, sausage, and more. The bread also is amazing, and the taste is unbelievable. The only problem here, it's not easy to find a place for your car. Highly recommended
