My toddler son was admitted for high fever and febrile convulsions. The ER staff treated his case with care and urgency, and that was appreciated. All the tests were performed in a professional way, but the ER attendants should have immediately called the Head Nurse to perform the IV placement instead of jabbing him several times without finding a vein. It felt like they were inexperienced with small children. Once the Head Nurse was called, she did a good job. We were admitted for an overnight stay and moved to a different ward with a new doctor who came to see us fairly quickly. There seemed to be a disconnect though between the two parts of the hospital, and it felt like he had not been given/read any notes, nor had any indication of what had happened in the ER. The food was a big issue: we waited1h30min to get food, and it only appeared after I complained to the doctor about waiting waayyy too long to feed a child who hadn't eaten in hours. The next morning, I tried calling the catering line several times just to get milk (around 7am) and there was no answer. It seemed impossible to reach them, unless you caught them while they were going about on their standard meal delivery schedule. The food that was brought to the room was mostly inedible, luckily some family members then brought our own food from home. Overall, the quality of care was generally decent. For foreigners, it is important to be aware that the nurses do not speak good English and did not offer much explanation for any medicine they came to administer, until I asked them (it felt that they wanted to avoid having to explain much since their English was limited).

The Emergency unit in this hospital is Not Recommended due to the followings. 1.The duty emergency doctor seemes to be less qualified in proper diagnostic to identify the root cause of the problem. 2.They tend to push for upselling thier services to go for unnecessary operation you would think you are in Fast Food restaurant Mcdonald rather hospital. 3.The services is very slow for emergency cases and not meeting expected standards. Update It turn out that the patient was having blood clut in veins and they were recommending apedice operation.

This hospital is negligent and released my grandfather of 97 years old with an IV in his arm. The IV was left in his arm for 2 days before realizing the left it in. We don’t know the damage this has cause to his arm and veins. This is very disappointing for a hospital of your reputation. Such due diligence is to be taken seriously with each and every patient.

The standard of Al Khaldi hospital is going down. Not like it was before. I don't recommend it to anyone or anybody. My rating is one star only. They charge a lot of money for a lousy service. In all aspects.

One staff was Rude, I had to wait few hours for the shift to change in order to get the drip back on Yesterday they forgot to bring my breakfast with the rest Same day they forgot my dinner as well In both cases I had to ask for them and wait over an hour to get them not that the food is that edible but had to drink my medicines with them It is sad because this hospital did reached its peak for a long time and was one of the best hospitals in town Unfortunately we have lack of consistency and now going down the . . .

It was the worst hospital that I have ever been to. I have never had to work as hard as I did when I visited this place. I gave them my insurance card. So you would think that they would call the insurance company to get approval. No, I have to get on the phone with the insurance company to collect their information like they are the patient. Very bad experience when one employee tell you that your insurance is approved, 15hrs later, they want you to pay out of pocket 2000JD. So what I do get on the phone with the insurance company for 3hrs. Something that the insurance guy is suppose to do. Also, they WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE. So I remained a hostage for 3 an a half hrs till the paperwork was all the way right. If one thing is off start over. Do not come here if I could give -⭐️ I would.

Amazing hospital with a one-of-a-kind system. Once you enter, you can feel how efficiently the staff work there. Not to mention, the staff are very polite, and the doctors can solve any problem you throw at them! 5/5 fo sho

We are very fortunate to have this leading medical institution in our beloved country that has served our local community and wider Arab community for decades. It is ever evolving offering complex treatment options for patients that are in line with international standards of care. Their emergency department at a time of peril is somewhere my family attends as I trust the care given there that is highly professional and timely.

On my first visit to Jordan and had to go to a hospital for covid. I could not have been referred to a better place. Right from the extremely welcoming ER staff, the helpful admin staff that helped with my admission, the fantastic staff in the second floor isolation ward and to be treated by the most amazing Dr Luai Al-Husseini. Thank you all so very much for taking care of me. Really appreciate your help and support.

One of the best medical care in Jordan , the medical team is very good. the hospital is very clean. You will always face problems when paying, you have to convince the employee that the medical insurance covers emergency cases and you have to call the insurance company instead of them and get the approval. so it depends on his personal decision to accept or reject.

Several members of my family had to undergo various types of operations at Al Khalidi during the last 12-16 months and some had to stay for over 4 days each time, and on every occasion I was very happy and satisfied with the quality of the service of this great national institution, including the continuous follow-up after the operations from all the doctors and nurses, and the overall professionalism and dedication of the whole staff at the hospital and the super high standards of cleanliness of every corner of the hospital. Thank you Al Khalidi for giving us the support and comfort we needed at very difficult times.

I have nothing but thanks and gratitude to the professional team at Al Khalidi hospital. My mother’s emergency was swiftly handled, thanks to two highly experienced doctors at Al Khalidi. The staff on hand were extremely kind and detailed in their approach, thankfully averting a near fatal incident. I would highly recommend the hospital to all seeking medical attention of the highest caliber.

We took my five year old to emergency on Monday night, the experience was beyond amazing to be honest. The patient registration was quick and efficient , they informed me very nicely that there was a half hour wait for a bed because it was full, they gave us options for two waiting areas to wait in, but through our wait, they were still checking up on my son. This alone already exceeded my expectations , what hospitals check up genuinely on a patient in a waiting room ? We needed up waiting less than half an hour , mt son had to have a vanilla and not one tear strolled down his cheeks because the patient bed side manner was incredible !!! The pediatrician on duty was the best I’ve even encountered on a local and international level. His name is Dr ayman Hussein , he was straight to the pint , very knowledgeable and great With kids ! The radiologists for the ultrasound were explaining everything to my son to ensure he doesn’t get bored or restless. I am so happy we have khaldi in Jordan. It really put my mind at ease, that if, god forbid, we need an emergency, I wouldn’t think of anywhere else to go.

I am writing to register a formal complaint about the treatment and care provided to my father at Al Khaldi Hospital. Since 2016, he has been undergoing cancer treatment, including multiple surgeries. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with a brain stroke and had a brain catheter placed. While we acknowledge the complexity of medical situations, we have encountered issues with the level of empathy and professionalism displayed by some of the medical staff, particularly during my father's stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The head of nurses, Dr. Feras, who oversees the morning shift in the ICU, has demonstrated unprofessional conduct that has been deeply troubling. Our family has been met with a lack of attentiveness to our questions and concerns, and Dr. Feras has exhibited an attitude that appears arrogant and dismissive. We firmly believe that in the critical environment of the ICU, both medical expertise and compassionate care are essential for patients and their families. Regrettably, Dr. Feras's behavior has fallen short of meeting these standards, and it has negatively impacted our experience at your esteemed institution. Due to the unprofessional conduct and inadequate representation of the hospital by Dr. Feras, we have decided to request the transfer of my father to an alternative medical facility that we hope will provide a more supportive and caring environment. We sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and conduct a thorough review of the situation. Our primary concern remains the well-being and proper care of my father during this challenging time.

They played with my health!!! 4 days i slept in that hospital while my situation needed urgent surgery!!! Thanks god i didnt do surgery in that hospital i would die in their hand! Doctors are careless, workers are ignoring everything. Many times i told them i have pain on my abdomen they said it is gas but i collected a lot of fluid until my lung do you know how dangerous it is!!! they just ignored it. DONT RİSK YOUR LİFE IN THAT HOSPİTAL. If somebody says it is one of the good hospital in Amman, it is a big lie!!!! I changed my hospital today and they did surgery asap and i am so healthy and well now. God judges you i hope!

Actually it was the international organization for migration. We ended up re-scheduling at your hospital with Dr. Agnes DeBaz for a medical examination for 8/2/2023 at 8:00AM. Apologies that was my mistake, I meant to post that review for the International Organization for Migration and Dr. Laila Kutkut

Terrible doctors in the ER. Very disrespectful and intolerant to the patient’s requests. Medication prescribed is incompatible with the diagnosis. I felt cheated and treated very unprofessionally. Only good thing I recommend is the lab, otherwise the service is horrendous.

Very good hospital, good staff , very clean . A special appreciation to Mr. Bilal Odeh ( Emergency reception) He went out of his way to help us and help others, though the Emergency room was full but he was so calm, professional, helpful and did a great job. A big thanks to such a great gentleman.

This hospital was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The ICU staff's lack of attention and care for patients was shocking. Despite paying a hefty amount of 2000 JDs per night, excluding doctor's fees, the service was far from top-tier. Patients were left unattended as if they were in a regular room, which is unacceptable in an ICU setting where constant monitoring and care are crucial. The hospital's apparent greed was evident when they ran numerous unnecessary tests, seemingly to inflate medical bills and make more money. The behavior of the resident doctor was appalling and arrogant. Overruling my grandmother's primary doctor's prescription, denying her medication to calm down and sleep, resulted in a night of distress and hallucinations. It's utterly irresponsible for a doctor to make such decisions without proper consultation and consideration for the patient's health. Moreover, the hospital's mishandling of medical equipment was alarming. Asking us to purchase a 450 JDs oxygen device only to discover that it was the wrong one showcases their lack of competence and professionalism. The hospital's dishonesty regarding room availability was concerning as well. Initially claiming that all first-level rooms were full, but miraculously finding one available when asked to move the patient to the second level raises serious questions about their integrity and transparency. The most distressing aspect of this entire experience was the lack of proper care and the pain inflicted on the patient. The nurses' incompetence in handling simple procedures like inserting a needle resulted in bruises and unnecessary suffering. In summary, this hospital demonstrated a complete lack of compassion, professionalism, and integrity. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this place and seek medical care elsewhere where the well-being and safety of patients are prioritized.

Absolutely inhumane and unacceptable to let a child bleed without treatment, and not to call any surgeon before opening a file! Worst experience ever, not recommended!

A great ICU team. Attentive and compassionate. Head of staff Dr. Omar kept the ward in order and was vigilant and accommodating to all patients. His time management and staff coordination is 2nd to none. Nurse Malak is an angel and Nurse Hamza is a great young man with potential. Chiropractor Hamza is amazing and professional.

A good hospital and cleanliness of a good standard. Everything is arranged to make it easy to find any department you want or patient rooms. And a clean and tidy room. And we can't forget the nurses, nurses, and even the doctors, they are very skilled and kind Dealing with patients and their companions. And the room service and cleaning staff were always present and helpful and did their work meticulously.

Be aware when visiting this hospital. My daughter was rushed there for her severe rash and the doctor when he came and looked at her barely did anything diagnosed it as nothing and it was just a rash and the nurses were very on rude while trying to collect her urine sample. When it came time for us to pay for what we had to do they try to pull a fast one on us and charge us double until we left the hospital and started reading the receipt that’s when someone sauce reading it and came up to us voluntarily saying that there was a mistake with the bill and it was clear that he knew that we were going to make a problem that’s why he came to us voluntarily and then they made me sign off on a paper saying that I received half of the amount back. Like the Arabs say it (izbaleh)!!!!! Trash!

Im sharing my feedback for the seek of integrity and improvement , where I should say the positive and negative points during the stay , the positive was in ICCU where We found a great team ( nurses and doctors ) specially one nurse named Khalid he was very helpful and accurate on his work plus the doctors as well in ICCU , but once we move to the first floor I can confirm that we were shocked from the level of poor staff and doctors , who didn’t preform their basic job and we complain to the main doctors , they were very careless and non-knowledgeable at all . We feel very sorry from the bad experience we had at the end and definitely this will make us to think 100 time before we decide to come in future incase needed and hopefully not .

Very excellent hospital and especially the ER team, professional doctors, friendly staff, very organized and they listen to the patient and they give you full details about your case, the diagnostic procedures they follow are really helpful, and from my experience with other hospitals in Jordan, Al Khalidi Hospital one of the medical hubs that I'd highly recommend.

This hospital has proven over the years that it is a world-class hospital. It provides excellent medical care, has excellent medical team expertise, and very clean. I could not give them 5 stars because the phone answering service after mid night is not well staffed. I called from the United States around 8 a.m., which is 3 a.m. Amman time several times to ask about my mother, and no one answeref the phone.
