I had to travel to Jordan to see my dying father.... to be honest, I did not expect to witness excellent medical experience, but at least the bare minimum of what is expected of a medical institution. Briefly speaking, I did not know whether to cry about my father's terminal illness or about the way patients (including my father) were treated. Among the many dreadful incidents, while I was accompanying my terminally-ill father, a doctor/nurse (because you can never distinguish them) took some blood sample from my father and proceeded to clean the arm with a pad immersed in alcohol. I was then asked to place my finger over the pad to then realise that my finger was the plaster. While smirking, the nurse left the room. Another incident occurred while walking around the hospital - I saw a patient smoking in the ward. As I proceeded to making a complaint, I saw the doctor smoking, who refused to even make eye contact. Two days into this unfortunate experience, my father was told that an operation was imminent in order to save his life. We were approached by the doctor who threw an operation gown on his bed and asked us to change his clothes. After the operation, we were approached by over four doctors, with each providing a different diagnosis and expectations from others. Slowly into reaching the inevitable point of helplessness, we were approached by one of the cleaners who stated "if you want a better bed, let me know, even if you wanted a better room, or even if your dad needs special attention. All you need is a small gesture of appreciation (i.e. money)". Feeling helpless and distraught, I replied "really?!!". So I paid out almost 50JD and in less than 2 minutes, the bed was replaced and my father was in an ensuite; with a TV and air con. However, the cleaner made sure that we were aware that every couple of days we had to make equivalent payment. Once my father moved to the special room, staff were more attentive and the security restrictions upon guests became more lenient. How unfair and hypocritical. My father is still battling there, and my heart is aching for the patients who are being treated as objects by staff who lack sympathy, empathy and work ethics. Based on my experience, this needs to be investigated immediately and thoroughly. I must state that the practice there surely does not reflect the Jordanian culture and morals. I love Jordan and appreciate the generosity of the Jordanian people, and this is doing nothing but dragging the reputation of the public sector though the mud.

Unbelievable treatment by the guy who answers the phone... very useless and doesnt even reply he just passes on your call to another department before you even finiah your sentence. Even after calling 5 times asking him to wait and hear me out while I ask about corona test, which is supposed to be a serious question. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

If you are looking for your 3rd Pfizer booster shot for Covid19, this hospital will give it to you for free, even as a tourist. It’s a bit of a maze to find the right part of the hospital but just ask the staff and they will take you there. Bring your passport and yellow vaccine book if you have it. They will register you in their health records as well.

Needs lots of improvement so patients would at least feel comfortable going in for treatment especially during emergencies where the emergency area feels like beyond and out of order at times. When I went there for Covid vaccination I was feeling great up until I've got there and because of the scene, smell, disorganization, and disarray I almost felt like vomiting just to say the least. The outpatient clinics and protocol needs some major improvement.

I honestly wonder, how does any government cares about human beings rights to have a decent medical care for a hospital like price Hamza operates like that, it is lacking caring doctors and staff, cleanness, experts, respect for patients needs. Its the general rule in third world countries, if your poor and sick you better die.

Horrible care. My brother received poor horrible care. Went in with phumona and passed away. No doctors could be found when he was showing obvious signs of distress. Was in for 21 days and should have been noticed he was not responding to the antibiotics given and should have been given something stronger sooner. The day before he died, they then made the decision to give him something stronger which was too late. His body started shutting down. He was only 54.
