Nice seating indoor and outdoor, big variety in the menu and everything tastes really good. The prices are fair compared to the quality of food. Excellent service.

Lovely outdoor brunch today. We love the breakfast special option, but the manaeesh is better at the location near rainbow st. The staff, especially Peter, were especially attentive.

Whether you are looking for a comfortable cozy place to have a nice healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner, or you want to sit in a corner with your laptop and a cappuccino for 6 hours - this might be your place. Great freshly made food from an extensive menu that boast some locally inspired dishes as well as an extensive western menu. Breakfast is a great option ! As usual I will say that the prices are higher than they should be but I never disappointed with the food. If you are disappointed the staff will be happy to fix it. Inside is non smoking (yeah!) but there is plenty of room outside if you choose to shorten your lifespan . If you are looking for a quiet place to escape and do a little work it reading then you can sneak upstairs to the loft and hide out all day practically unnoticed . Also there is feee WiFi available , and the staff speaks Arabic and English at least. Enjoy ! - and do forget about the books at the best prices (reasonable) you will find in Amman.

Beautiful spot and atmosphere with contemporary decor. Interesting book collection from art to philosophy. An extension to the orig Books@ location but limited to cafe and books areas. 📚 Good service and daily alternative options available. Service is slower, you need to look for the barista / waiters to ask for napkins and so on .. but the good side is that you are left alone to work and do your thing without being rushed.

I had a disappointing experience at this place today. From the moment I arrived, the service left much to be desired. The waitstaff seemed disinterested, with one waiter even ignoring my inquiries altogether. I ordered two dishes, including an avocado and poached egg meal. Unfortunately, the meal was a letdown. The eggs were overcooked, resembling boiled eggs more than poached, and the wedges fries were clearly reheated and not fresh. When I brought up the issue, a waiter acknowledged the fries were reheated. The lack of attentiveness continued throughout my visit, as the waiters seemed more focused on rushing through requests than offering genuine assistance. I chose not to eat the meal due to its quality and the waiter apologized and took it away. My disappointment only grew as I decided to settle my bill and leave without any attempt at an explanation or resolution. Overall, my experience here fell far short of expectations, leaving me unsatisfied and unlikely to return.

What wouldn't you love more than that your favorite cafe opens another branch closer to you. You will never find such an excellent service in any place in amman, the staff are so welcoming. Even though the cafe is in a somewhat busy area but once you enter you immediately transfer to calmer environment. The food is very good 👍 i highly recommend this place.

I always enjoy my meal at books@cafe , the staff are friendly and I love the atmosphere, I recommend to order chicken @ cafe and chicken quesadilla

Cozy yet vibrant place, nice for coffee discussions, friends gathering, or even a solitude time. They have a coffee refill option ❤️ And the food is so yummy. My favorite is the zucchini noodles dish.

We went there as two families with 5 children ranging between 3-15 years old and we all had a wonderful time. They enjoyed looking at the books and buying some while waiting for the food so we avoided the uncomfortable wait when kids sometimes get restless and hungry. I would say the prices compared to the food portion were acceptable. There indoor space is connected to the outdoor space so we enjoyed the cool inside while still enjoying the outdoors. The service was impeccable and fast. We didn’t feel that we had to look for the waiter as the staff regularly checked in on us. Even the owner did at a certain point which was very nice of him. We would definitely be regular customers of this restaurant.

Staffs and beverages are nice. But some of the beverages on the menu are not available. But decorating with red is not a good choice as a book cafe. Not a modern cafe but not bad.

What I really liked about this place is the quality of food , nd the friendly staff 👌🏻 fast service of course too 👍🏻

The service was very slow: we waited for 1 hour before the staff were called; the tables were unclean and after they were asked to clean, they used a dirty cloth which left the rancid and stale smell on the table. It caused me a headache! I felt embarrassed because I invited a friend there. To add to this all, a beautiful cat was resting on the couch leaving the hair if its fur everywhere. Hope I will never visit this place again and never invite anyone there. What a shame!

The tenders were not frish as usual . Delicious sandwich , but it's take too much time to get the order!

If you are a book lover, this is the place for you where you can have a nice meal and coffee. Nice decorations too.

Service wasn't great (took over 30 minutes for someone to take my order). Also, beggar was harassing our table during the meal with no staff in sight to end the loitering. Food was delicious, would recommend dine out (not in) for this branch.

I love the place. The tuna sandwich is incredible, the lentil soup is a complete meal in a winter day.

Be aware! All types of egg food is prepared here well done without any warning. Which is something you'd not expected when ordering eggs benedict for exmple 😂 But if you ask in advance the kitchen can satisfy your demands pretty well. Otherwise owesome place!

It was fun, we where a large crowd so we ended up jumping between table due to COVID-19 rules (max of 6) tables. Nevertheless, service and food were good
