Paying extra money for taking exit seats is not worth it. The staff are not friendly and have a poker face they don’t want to engage with guests at all. Long queues at checking-in in dubai airport terminal 1 and long queues before boarding the plane. Chaotic and bad experience. Update:- My suitcase didn’t arrive yesterday at Cairo Airport ( Dubai : Cairo Via Amman flight RJ 614 and RJ503 ) and Royal Jordanian doesn’t have a disk at Cairo airport so after asking around I found out that EGYPTAIR is their agent and I filed a claim and I was given a reference number In the meantime I have to buy everything that was in the suitcase and there’s no any sort of compensation. I will never fly with them again.

The lounge is definitely a choice of aristocracy. Food are quality, options are wide ranged. The food court are evenly and disparaged all over the lounge space - which gives you enough of space to move around.

This is one of the 3 VIP lounges at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), and by far the largest. They serve several food items such as soups, appetizers, salads, and hot plates. They offer small sandwiches as well as dessert and cakes. They have a corner for pizzas, and another corner for fresh pasta dishes. They have a cool ice cream machine, a cafe chain, many fridges, and 2 bars. Food items are friendly for vegans, vegetarians, and non-vegetarians. They also have several stalls for sweets by different Jordanian sweets stores. The lounge is very close to the embarking gates, and the furthest it could get is a 5-minute walk. The lounge itself is very spacious and well maintained. They have prayer rooms, smoking rooms, and restrooms. As of this writing, entrance fee is JD 30 for a maximum of 3 hours.

A very big lounge in terms of area... The food available is mostly just snacks, not a full meal. Staff are friendly but the toilet is just one and you will always have to wait... They for wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

Food is pre-packaged, unimaginative, sparse & poorly prepared. Mini hot dogs without mustard. Greasy Spring rolls without dipping sauces. Chicken nuggets and nothing. Bartender on his phone instead of refilling his station of chilled self-service bottles. For the flagship lounge located in the airlines’ home base airport they deserve no stars. No pride is taken in their efforts. They are over-staffed for what the staff do. They are constantly on their phones and talking amongst themselves. Just witnessed three of them laughing openly at a passenger as he walked away after asking a question. Empty plates and glasses abound. Chair cushions flattened and unfluffed. They are lazy, careless, redundant and useless. RJ might as well do vending machines for the quality of food and service currently offered. An embarrassment to the flag.

Very good open wide space lounge with good and comfortable seatings. Good food usually but repetitive. Nicely serviced by different beverages with very good customer service. Clean. Bathrooms were clean but tight entrance and exit. The door of the bathrooms needs to change. Overall, very positive experience. Will come back again.

They keep changing the time schedule time after time and we faced delay after all of this . Don’t trust that this company will fly you to your destination on the time you want. I addition to that they lost my baggage , and when they found it in Amman , they called me to collect it from Riyadh airport after 24 hours while in their website they mentioned that they will send it to any address you choose . My advise is don’t go with this company unless you don’t have any other choice .

Despite the airport being busy at 3am, the Royal Jordanian Crown Lounge is quiet, spacious, clean, not crowded. Plenty of lounge chairs to relax and take a nap before your flight. Staff was kind and attentive.

Ok, so 5/5 ! They highly improved !!! I was here 6 months ago and the lounge got so much better ! They have a good variety of dishes, main dishes included pasta, Maklouba, Kabsa and Asian Rice. They also had Sajjiyah and Galayet Bandourah, very traditional Jordanian dishes. They had Fattoush and Crab Salad. Dessert section was really good, full of cheesecake and Kunnafeh. What was new is their Ice cream Machine, they Play Station area, their really really good Alameed Coffee Station ! They also have a fresh Manakeesh and Pizza station which was really good as well ! I highly recommend the Turkish Coffee from Alameed station as well as the fresh Pizzas ! Highly recommended !

The worst lounge I have ever visited. We were there @6 a.m. .Most food stations were closed. Some of them were said to open @ 3 p.m. Very hot. Dirty and just 2 wc's for thewholelounge.

I've used this lounge twice now, first time was for a 2 1/2 hr layover, the second was for a 10 hr layover. I really like this lounge, I like how you can chill out with some snacks and a beer and look out over the whole terminal. There was a live Pizza station and live Italian station going during my visit as well as the normal hot and cold services, lots of fridges with soft drinks. A good bar with an good selection of drinks, unfortunately no Scotch was available during both my visit. Lots of different seating and a activity area for younger travellers. All my interactions with Staff where professional and friendly. Thank you RJ Private Lounge.

I have stayed here 15+ times before I decided to write this review. Let’s start by cleanliness, nothing is cleaned constantly! You have to ask for your desired seating area to be cleaned before you set in it, and if you don’t tip you get attitude. Air conditioning is not functioning properly, you literally sweat all the time and especially if you have a noon flight then you need a shower. Cold drinks are not actually cold, refrigerators are very old and need replacement. Restrooms are a mess, soap dispensers don’t work and there are empty soap bottles which means they have been broken for a long time and unattended, toilet shataf is not working properly too and handles are broken, toilets are dirty you have to clean it yourself before using it, too bad and very sad that our airport business lounge is in such mess. The food scene doesn’t really matter to us but it isn’t that good anyways.

I was surprised by the quality of the lounge, it has many different areas. You got pizza corner, pasta corner, coffe shop, bar and also buffet with good selection of hot and cold food. The lounge is very big with lots of seats avaliable. Its not usual this side of the world to have such a quality lounge. The only thing which was frustraiting, as a oneworld Emerald costumer they asked me to pay 20$ for the showers....

Rating: 3/5 I recently had the opportunity to visit the Crown Lounge at Queen Alia Airport, and while the overall ambiance and service were satisfactory, I found the food options to be lacking in variety and quality. Upon entering the lounge, I was impressed by the elegant decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The staff members were courteous and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for travelers. However, as someone who values a well-rounded airport lounge experience, the limited and uninspiring food choices left me somewhat disappointed. The buffet spread, while neatly presented, lacked the diversity one might expect from a premium lounge. The selection was limited to basic sandwiches, salads, and a few hot dishes. I was hoping for a more extensive range of international cuisines to cater to different tastes and preferences. The absence of vegetarian and vegan options was particularly noticeable, making it challenging for those with dietary restrictions to find satisfying alternatives. Moreover, the quality of the available dishes did not match the standard I anticipated. The hot items seemed to have been sitting for a while, affecting both taste and texture. The lack of a live cooking station or made-to-order options further diminished the overall culinary experience. For a lounge that markets itself as a premium space, the food offerings fell short of expectations. Another aspect that caught my attention was the limited beverage selection. While the lounge did have a variety of non-alcoholic drinks. A more extensive and diverse drink menu, including local and international options, would undoubtedly enhance the overall lounge experience for patrons. On a positive note, the lounge's cleanliness and the availability of comfortable seating added to the overall ambiance. The staff's promptness in clearing used dishes and maintaining a tidy environment contributed positively to the overall experience. In conclusion, the Crown Lounge at Queen Alia Airport provides a decent environment for travelers seeking a comfortable place to relax. However, improvements in the food and beverage department are crucial to elevate it to the level expected of a premium airport lounge. I hope the management considers expanding the menu, enhancing food quality, and diversifying beverage options to better cater to the varied preferences of their clientele.

Probably the worst food experience I had in any major airlines’ lounges. Food and drinks lack variety but worse is to come! The food tasted exactly like economy plane food and what worser is that it is not even hot. I can hardly call it lukewarm. The real give away is that the cutlery is used in the economy class. There is really no need to tell it to my face that you are going for the cheap! Shocking for it to be the Royal Jordanian flagship lounge. Utterly shameful.

One of the best lounge I ever entered, from the beginning, the staff are professional, the food quality is good, they serve a branded coffee and sweets, there is an ice-cream machine, calm and comfortable seats everywhere. Entrance fees 32 USD. However, it could be free if your credit card supports it or business or 1st class. I highly recommend it. All my respect for ppl working here.

The RJ Crown Lounge is one of the best lounges I’ve been to. Try the latte at the coffee shop, or enjoy a drink at the bar. The food can also be very good sometimes.

Probably one of the most disgusting One World Lounges I have ever been to … crowded. Kids everywhere. Parents glaring at you because they want their rabble to have the last 2 seats in the lounge which you managed to get. Is the shower still broken 4 years later since my last visit. Yes !

Offering a very good range of food & beverage services. Alameed cafe offers a diverse range of special coffee. Quite comfortable chairs and sofas. Clean facilities including WC and showers. There are also very small praying rooms.

One of the nicest lounges I’ve been. Very spacious with confortable seating and generous food offerings. I highly recommend the Aghati baklawa station, it was delicious. There is also a pasta station, where you get meal prepared instantly upon request. Regular warm food options available including curry, rice, noodles and pizza.

  • 5/5 David M. 7 years ago on Google
Highly impressed with the expansiveness, quality and contemporary feel of this lounge. Breakfast was a traditional offering of local cuisine and wine was even flowing at 7am in the morning. The only suggestion I would make would be to remove the coffee machines and introduce a barista.

Wide range of buffet food on your right side Always a dish with fish , meat and chicken available Traditional foods basics (hummus , eggplant , etc) and MY favorite Aghati desserts Salads 2-3 kinds Soft drinks An amazing Bar with good variety of drinks On the left side A coffee place , sweets such as sugar daddy Hot oven that bakes for breakfast lunch and dinner Comfortable seating Great staff The most I love is it’s an open space with view keeps the vibe going One of the best lounges in QAIA

Overall, this is a very good lounge with similar quality to other important lounges globally. High tier Visa cards and Master cards grant free entry. It is always possible to pay and enter. It is not huge, but enough to sit comfortably alone or as a group. It is very clean, and the staff is super friendly and supportive. Screens to monitor flights are available. Charger station/plugs are also available. The main buffet have the typical mediterranean starters like salad, hummus, motabal, and also main course like chicken, meat and salmon. The dessert is also available at the end. I was happy to see a dedicated station cooking two different types of pasta. In addition, another station for the Italian focaccia. There was also another station for ice cream and other one for cookies. Of course, there is a dedicated place for coffee serving the traditional Jordanian coffee Alameee. Finally, all alcohol drinks are available from the bar. The bartender was really nice and friendly. I was also happy to see the products of Jordan like JR wine and Carakale beer.

Had a couple of hours stay at the lounge. Was under renovations so can not judge the whole theme. Resting places are ok, not very comfy but can serve the purpose they are supposed to do. Food was ok too, hot meals served were tasty, menu changed while waiting so I had the chance to taste 2 different menus and they were good. Sandwitches and cupcakes were also abundant, tasting good. Beverages were diverse and the hiegine for food and drinks was acceptable. Bathroom was average and wifi was ok Hope to have a better experience after the renovations are complete

Great views of the airport, good fruit selection, tons of seating. There is a bar, but it's sparse - beer, red, and white wine. You're in Jordan though, so its presence at all is pretty great. The only downside is that power outlets are very few and hard to find. But you're probably flying in business and will probably have an outlet on the airplane.

Spent 8 hours here on my way to Riyadh. It was under construction a bit. Glad they had food and water bottles. The bathrooms were better downstairs than in the lounge, but there were couches to sleep on for a few hours. WiFi exists but doesn’t work great. Seats are definitely more comfortable than at the gates. Not the best lounge in the world, but glad to have a comfy place to sit. Also the smoking area needs to be separated better because it’s so strong and not healthy for people who don’t smoke.
