📍 Salt Beach - Before you go! EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO➡️ — [Save this for your next trip to Jordan] ☀️ARRIVE EARLY - the dead sea is hot all year round and if you arrive after noon, the sun is truly unforgiving 💦BRING WATER, LOTS OF IF - you will need it not only for drinking but also for washing all the salt and minerals off your body! 👙BRING YOUR SWIM SUIT - it’s super fun to swim (float) in the dead sea 👧🏻 BRING A FRIEND - the dead sea is located in the MIDDLE of the desert. No villagers, locals or people neaeby. So go with someone you trust and a reliable car. Luckily for me I had an awesome friend with me to lead the way! 🕶PREPARE FOR THE SUNBURN - honestly, I didn’t get sun burnt but I recommend you wear a proper amount of sunblock. 🩱GO SWIMMING! It’s super fun to float and that water left my skin feeling very smooth. 🧂VISIT THE SALT BEACH! This place was further down south (about 15 mins drive) from the usual resorts but it was WORTH 👏🏻 IT 👏🏻 For more reviews - feel free to follow me on instagram! @jordanianexplorer

Its a must place to go and get yourself clicked!! Its very rare to see such a salt formations across the world and i would highly recommend this place. Wear proper shoes to do a bit of walking for 15-20 mins and towels to take a shower.

Very easy access to the sea vs others + someone is there with showers and towels Big plus: it’s frequented by tourists so very gay and women friendly Not as beautiful as some though

We enjoyed the place. The only thing, please,be careful, the water 💦 is really salty. Safe your nose/mouse. Bring several bottles of water with you in order not to pay locals 7 JOD for the “shower”

Great little spot to see the Dead sea! For the love of god don't put your head under the water or get any in your mouth.

It was the only spot we found with a decent beach to swim. Bring water to wash you up, otherwise you have to pay 2jod to a local with an improvised shower.

The best beach in dead sea, just bring water with you to shower after swimming

Disgusting small ponds filled with freshwater flowing into the lake. They are filled with all kind of trash and there is no other way to get yourself cleaned of salt except lay in them.

A cool concept but the allure is tainted by the amount of trash. Some of it appears to be left behind by visits, though a lot of it appears to have originated elsewhere on the sea and washed up here. It’s hard to ignore such a large amount of plastic, styrofoam, and other rubbish strewn about.

Dead Sea, the clean water, gathering of salt, combination of blue(water) and white(salt) left a great view in it's coast. Wow, a great place to go, great place to spend a quality time by floating over the sea. Water with highest density keep you float over the water. And another interesting thing about this place is: it's the Lowest Land in the World.🤩

It was great! 5 min walk from the road till the sea. The water and the beach is clean, there is only trash on the way down because locals are using it for picnic place. Bring water to wash yourself and to drink (it was really hot eventhough we were in January).
