I went to Taj Palace on 2025/02/23 and I was given rice with broken ceramic in it. I was fortunate that I felt the ceramic and I didn’t eat it. They apologized saying they broke some dishes in the kitchen. However, the most insulting is that they still charged me for my meal (20 €) which obviously I didn’t eat, and they gave me 5% (1 €) discount. Shame on you.

Took a hour to get the food, but it was worth it!!

I enjoy Indian food a lot, I've been to various restaurants all over Portugal and other countries and none of them come close to this one. It's a small restaurant in a quiet place, the people there are amazing, super kind and friendly, and their food is out of this world. I have never eaten better samosas than at this place, they make the best samosa in the world, and all of the dishes are delicious and made with such care. I already liked Indian food but these guys made me fall in love with it. I highly recommend this place, and I wouldn't recommend any other restaurant. And like I said before, the workers here are super kind and friendly and they are always coming up to you asking if everything is okay. I usually sit outside and usually at other places the people who sit outside often get forgotten, but here they are constantly coming outside asking if you are enjoying your meal and asking if there is anything else that you want or need, so you'll never have to wait an eternity for the workers to come out and order more stuff. Again, not only do I highly recommend this place, but I ONLY recommend this place.

Delicious food. One of the best. We walked an hour to get here and it was completely worth it. Butter chicken was the best we’ve had in Portugal. 3 daal dish was excellent with ginger - great addition. Service was also excellent- very attentive. They did this even while being very busy. I will be back again!

We spent €100 here and the food was excellent. We had quite a few leftovers and the man asked if he could put them all together in containers and I said to him no because I was the only person in the group that can’t eat very spicy food while everyone else had the spiciest. Of course he stuck my food in with everyone else’s and so I didn’t get to eat any leftovers. That’s just really bad service imo.

It's very delicious and cozy place with Indian traditional food. The restaurant is very thematic. Service is very client-oriented. The personnel can speak English, which is an obvious benefit.

This is in my opinion one of the very top Indian restaurants around. The guys that work here are always smiling and happy to give you the best service. The food that I have tried is wonderfully fragrant and fresh that just make you want more! Always full so better reserve. A fun evening every time and I keep returning.

Delicious Indian typical food with beautiful presentation. Very professional staff. It was my first time on an Indian restaurant and I loved it. It had the best samosas I have ever had and great naan bread. Also, very affordable prices and a wide variety of options. Around 140 different dishes on the menu. The decoration of the place was also very nice.

We had a lovely lunch! Definitely a place to enjoy and come back again. Very tasty food at reasonable prices, in addition to great service!

The food looked great and the restaurant was packed but we found the taste of the food to be lacking. It was not bad but we were not impressed with our dishes. The servers were very friendly.
