One of the many great and wide beaches on the south coast from Lisbon. The only negative aspect of this and some other beaches is the access road and traffic in the summer months. Off season they are spectacular.

Very nice place for surfing but a lot of rocks on the beach... Not easy to enjoy with the kids.

The sand was not as clean as in the last years, but is still one of the best beaches on Lisbon area. Good parking options, lifeguard support, bars/restaurants.

I visit the car park, dunes, and beach every other day walking my dogs. I also clean these areas because I am afraid the people that visit these coastal areas are not very environmentally friendly. It is a nice beach area but the owners of the beach bars need to clean up the bar area and the surrounding areas

Not very crowded during the week and quite easy to park. The white dust however gets into every corner...

The sand is fabulous and if you like to play with some waves 🌊 there is plenty of places to stop for food and drink.

The food here is amazing, mussels and fish are fresh from the sea. Highly recommended!

Great beach. There is a big parking lot and during low tide the sand stretches quite a lot. Sea can be a hit or miss. Can be very calm with almost no waves at all or with strong currents that can push to high sea. There are some bars to get drinks and food. Didn’t see any showers.

😠 Not recommended. An unexcusable behaviour of the beach staff towards one of our friends. It looked very much like racial discrimination. Unacceptable. We went many times to this place but after what we saw never again. Time to change!
