This is a hidden gem of a bar. It’s family run and is a great place to sit and watch life go by. Sometimes you even get the treat of listening to live Fado opposite. The family who run this bar are the nicest people ever and will do their best to look after you. Great prices and generous pours. All the food is homemade to order, I highly recommend.

THE BEST BAR IN ALFAMA!!! Family-run for generations, the two brothers just know hospitality. They will make you laugh, take care of you and create the best atmosphere. We kept returning here time after time and slowly became besties with the staff!

The best local spot with amazing service and food. You can sit at the small tables outside and enjoy the food while people-watching and listening to awesome music. The owners are friendly and funny. I even got tips for things to see in and around Lisbon.

Very nice discovery! Warm welcome, top service and a very friendly menu including delicious cocktails. The atmosphere is super great especially with jokes that delight the customers. I highly recommend this establishment which will welcome you as it should! I will come back with great pleasure :)

The food of this place feels quite low quality… that being said, everything else is great. The service is very playful and on point. The drinks were also very good, we definitely recommend the sangria. All in all it’s a fun place to get a drink and people watch.

After multiple fails locating a bifana due to a massive youth conference taking over the rest of Lisbon, we found York Burger near our Airbnb. Hit the jackpot. Ordered a few bifana take away to share with the family, along with a couple of cheeseburgers. They hit the spot after a day of dealing with the crowds. Highly recommend stopping in.

We only popped in for a quick drink, but have to give it five for the friendliness and kindness of the staff. They made us laugh and were very genuine. Good Vinho Verde also.

Great place! The food was really tasty and home made. Tried the burger, the biffana and the fries, all three were very tasty (the burger especially: delicious). Drinks are nice. Service was good and funny (you might get pranked but in a light hearted way). Thanks!

Very Nice waiter, tasty food and and all around great experience. I would highly recommend to go here. He even carried a table out for us. Not to mention the prices are fair aswell.
