Great for running on the track and for interval training. Usually empty from 07:00-09-00. If you come later chances are high that there’s a football game or other event and the track will be closed. Enter on the east entrance. There’s a guard and a ticket machine. You can pay the 3€ entrance fee there. You can also signup for the Inatel membership in the office on the east entrance. It’s 20€ per year and then you only pay 1.5€ entrance fee each time. In the office you can buy tickets upfront so you don’t always have to take cash with you for the machine. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. And they spoke really good English! Highly recommend!

This park is awesome but NO DOGS ALLOWED???? this is crazy. It has beautiful parks, there are tons of people around with dogs, educated dogs, and people are also educated to pick up n2 of the dogs, I can't understand why dogs are not allowed inside. Imagine Campo Grande has the same idea... 😂 Crazy! And ABSOLUTELY NO SPACE FOR PARKING AROUND!!!

The place is constantly changing since the 50's, but the last decade did it for me. From the swimming pool to the outdoor tennis courts, it is a great place to go and enjoy life at its best.

It's a shame the bar/restaurant isn't open. Covid is already there...we have to move on. Near the entrance (av rio de janeiro) there is a sign indicating the restaurant... perhaps it would be a good idea to remove this indication.

Nice athletics track for running but off-limits most of the day Saturday and Sunday due to football having priority. Most days you can use the track from 7.00 to 21.00 with 3€ fee for non members however on Saturday and Sunday, usually starting at 8.30 until midnight the track and fields are reserved for football. Though the reservation schedule does vary, it's not published online so you can try to call and inquire or ask one of the guards at the entrance gates.

INATEL 1 de Maio Stadium is usually used for rugby, adapted track and field, football, athletics, tennis, padel, minigolf, swimming pool and many more. There's even a playground for kids and lots of green areas. It's a big surprise this is in the middle of Lisbon. As a funny fact The stadium was full on the 1st of May after the break of the dictatorship in 1974. They even have a big wall covered with a picture of that time and there was not space for a single more person. Just amazing history and vary of sports that one can do.
