    It's a junction, but not a single major station is in reach of this station despite of Amritsar only. Three coach DMU trains (train bus) are only available, not so proper on time everyday. Cleaning & hygiene is not up to mark. Staff is average good & helpful.

    Tarntaran junction is situated on Amritsar-khemkaran train route. Also this junction is connected to beas via train line.Fare is cheap as compare to bus service to different locations on this route.Waiting hall is available on this railway station. Ticket reservation for all india is also available here.
