The Temple Bar was a great experience. Ms. Ellen, Mr. Earvin Jae, Stefano, Biago, Luca, and there was another young man, I forgot his name. Well, they all treated us like family. From day one greeted us with a smile and introduced my sisters and to different shots of liquor, which were amazing. I will recommend this place to anyone who comes to visit Amsterdam. The cheese sticks and French fries were also great. Come on and visit and be treated like family. This is my new home away from home. Love you guys until the next time.

If you're looking for just a bar to have a drink this place is fine. You're looking to eat something, do not eat here! Food seem like it was just microwaved not very well, my dish was still cold when it came out. They did have some sports plane which I appreciated because I wanted to see the American football playoff game. Besides that we quickly ate and went somewhere else. I don't even think we finished the food we had.

Irish bars are meant to have nice beer and friendly Staff. This had neither - charging a fortune for horrific tasting beer. Had to be the worst pint in about ten years.

I've visited this bar on multiple occasions over the years and I've never been disappointed. Great pint of Guinness, friendly staff and tremendous atmosphere!

Temple Bar is an absolute cracking bar and a must if you're visiting Amsterdam. The bar staff are friendly, the music during the day and evening ranges from chilled vibes to upbeat and the clientele were all very friendly over the 2 days i spent in there! 5 star experience all round!

Small selection of beer as for a pub, rather small portions of food (weight of dishes not specified). Our table was dirty, although the atmosphere and authenticity of the pub was wonderful.

Beer was ok, so was the food but the environment was awful, I'm sorry to say. Barmen were throwing chips and ice and whatnot at eachother and breaking glasses and swearing a lot. I know it is located in a touristy area but it didn't feel welcoming to be asked to pay before even you get your drink. Never going back.

Friendly staff, working bathroom, centrally located, and good beer! I was looking for an oasis amongst the business of the neighborhood and I found this gem. The staff was super nice and it wasn’t crowded so I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. If you want a nice place to escape to, this is your place.

Had a lovely friendly experience during the day…so decided to visit again in the evening. Big mistake! Bar staff were friendly on arrival….prices of drinks ridiculous compared to other bars..but at least it was a good friendly environment at first. After an hour…spending a lot of money…met a few other vistiors…enjoying our time…then a table of “off duty” staff who were drinking and clearly intoxicated decided to bully me and accuse me of illegally vaping inside the pub…even though my vape had no charge or battery and I was simply talking people I had just met. I was then threatened to be “thrown” out…and it was my last chance… Not a nice experience at all…word of advice for bar staff on actual duty…don’t listen to intoxicated off duty bar staff who like to accuse and bully lone females because they can’t see straight!

I was coming quite often to this place, the bar is very comfortable and cozy BUT the staff behavior is just unacceptable. The bartender was so rude and cursing at the customers, i felt so sorry the owners let this kind of people to work at such a good place. I really hope some day this place will be as good as it was. Be aware.

Me and my partner though that it looked like a nice place to have a drink. I took a table outside and he went into the bar to order our drinks. He was told to sit down and a waiter would come to take our order. After ten minutes we finally got to order our drinks. However after waiting 30 minutes without seeing our drinks we left to find a place where they actually wanted to serve their customers and we got our drinks after 4 minutes.

Very slow service! The food menu is kind of non existing. A small pizza( 4 pieces) came for 11 euros after a wait time of 45 mins and after 3-4 reminders. Same for drinks , no one to take the order or serve. Thankfully there was some good music.

Nice enough Irish pub abroad but we went to watch the rugby and it’s not really set up for that. A bit weird watching a World Cup semi final with no sound but with the Back Street Boys or 70s disco classics getting churned out in the background. If you want to watch sport I’d go elsewhere but the Guinness was decent and staff friendly and helpful.

Nice ambience and music - staff are Brits but are nice.. they have food and plenty of drinks. Their location is pretty centric and they have Guiness for those of you who loves some dark Irish beer

My fiance and I had a great time here, the atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend dropping by to grab a beer and if you do, the bitterballen is a great snack to go with it!

Staff was very nice! Compared to some other bars we have been to. Not much else to comment on. It's a standard bar, with nicer staff compared to other bars :D

Pay attention to the price menu card vs you paying, I ordered a beer and a wine from card it was 12, and they charged me 16. (My bad I was a bit shy and with someone so didn't want to lose impression)

Lovely bar, with friendly staff. Watched Morocco vs Portugal World Cup match there. Only downside was I was ignored while I waited to be served after walking in. As a female solo traveller, I was disappointed that several male customers, who walked in after me, were served first. I nearly walked out after 10 minutes of waiting. But, bartender apologised when he realised I was there.

The place is fine, you get a fair amount of beer choices, from the tap and in bottles. The only sad thing is that you get no service at the tables outside. You must go, order and pay inside, and you have to bring everything by yourself to where you are sitting outside.

Nice Irish Bar. Sitting outside Han having a beer, watching the Tourists. The Waitress was very friendly - but the chicken wing took around 30min until served. A bit long for 5 pieces.

Nice but strange. They where understaffed and we could not get meal. We had to go somewhere else. Beer wise it's great

The drink from the picture was good, but my husband gin was the worst ever. We waited for some beer too long, but still the team is nice.

If you want an English -speaking oasis in the Old Quarter (near De Oude Kerk, farmers market, and Red Light District), the Irish-themed Temple Bar is a good option. Outside seating, extensive drink menu, but food takes 45 minutes to show up. Sit and enjoy the busy street scene.

The vibe was good. Nachos price was more than listed in the menu and no one updated us. But good mood.

Absolutely amazing! 100% would recommend! My husband and I are on our first trip to Amsterdam and stopped by on our first day. The staff is super nice and when asked, offered some tips on what to do etc. My husband said the Guinness was better than any he'd had in the US and I got the a Lager/Cider mix they had which was refreshing. Would recommend the bitterballen and cheese sticks to have with a few drinks at this bar while you watch some games!

👍 A cozy restaurant with a view. I liked those Avocado chips very much. Comparatively budget friendly in central Amsterdam. (More ideal for a coffee date.) They are providing white bread with steak. . . PS: Don’t forget to reserve a table and visit the restaurant.
