I would have given it 0 stars if possible. While having a pint, a waiter spilled a full tray full of drinks on us and walked away without acknowledging what just happened. No one brought us paper, apologized or even cared to assist us, we had to ask for tissues multiple times. I have rarely seen such an horrible service in hospitality. If you want to enjoy a drink go elsewhere.

The pool table is a bit worn out and is awkwardly placed. You can't take most of the shots without having your stick in the face of someone on the adjacent tables. Otherwise it's a fun Irish bar.

Cosy sports bar with pool table. We went to watch a Barça match and they showed it on a projector. We were surprised by the quality of the food for the type of bar it is. The chicken wings were very tasty. The staff is young, friendly and attentive.

Great location, friendly staff, comfy seats and good people watching. We had the cheeseburger and cheese chicken sandwich. Not a fan of the cheeseburger. English breakfast looked good, may want to try that next time.

The food and drinks are good, but the staff is terrible slowly. You can wait ages to be served. They do not say 'Hello' or 'Goodbye'. Impolite and bad service. On the other side, the Guinness is perfect.

Really nice place to go for a drink and eat something. 1 large beer costs between 6 - 8 €, one hamburger with fries around 12€. Regular prices for Amsterdam. The waitress is very nice and there’s good music. They serve food until late at night (big bonus).

Well, its always a bit complicated giving a bad review on account of one visit. But the service was so bad I couldn't not mention it. At one point we decided to leave because we could get a second round. And then our waiter said he was too busy to accept our payments (even after we went to him at the cash register to make it easier), and told us to do it with another person. It was just an uncomfortable experience, and there are better pubs around.

Awful experience. Bar man was incredibly rude. I was ignored for 10 minutes at the bar without anybody else around before he acknowledged my existence. He then proceeded to give me by a long way the worst pint I've ever had the displeasure of having. Pint was overpriced to add insult to injury. Also as an Irish man I can comfortably say the only things Irish about this "Irish" pub are that they have Guinness on tap and stock bacon fries. Other staff seemed much friendlier but it's not a place I'd recommend.

Good atmosphere. Great food. We had nachos and fries between 2 of us, and the beer was excellent too. Staff were very nice and allowed me to charge my phone while I was there. Didn't try the Guiness but the pints I saw looked fine.

Lost my jacket and the manager immediately went through the cameras and helped me see where it got lost, genuinely the nicest staff and management! I felt so appreciated and heard as a customer I could not have wished a better place to go out for drinks! Especially shout out to Janni!

Great atmosphere and good choice of beers! Definitely an ideal place to watch a football game and enjoy a cold one with your buddy :)

Pleasant wee Irish bar that's in a great location. We got off the tram for the Heineken Experience with some time to kill and this bar was perfect for chilling before our booked time slot. Very reasonable pricing for good sized portions and clean, perfectly chilled draught beer. One of the top 3 comfiest booths I've ever enjoyed a pint in!

Watched a match of the world cup there. We were astonished how good the service was amidst the chaos of the game. Everything was fast and delicious. A true pub to visit.

Cool pub as always but it had lost the atmosphere it once had. It's not a true Irish pub anymore. Music is not that good(neither Irish) but good to be able get some Guinness in the neighbourhood:)

What can be wrong with an Irish pub? Nothing. Perfect place for a drink or bite. Rather big place, biljart, TV screens with sports, relaxed atmosphere.

Unfriendly bar tenders and incompetent waiters and waitresses. Expensive place that is a disgrace for real irish pubs…. And survive on tourists like many places unfortunately. Went there few times and wont go anymore. Service is very slow, you need to go to the staff to tell them you are here, what you want, same to pay, they crashed our drinks on the table and did not clean it, pint is expensive for very basic ones. Typical touristic place that is living on it but wont get anymore locals going that way. Hope the whole staff change soon.

Really neat place, the staff is really professional and nice. Food is well cooked, burgers are so good, really worth every cent! Bitterballen are delicious and is one more place in Amsterdam where you can eat them and don’t feel defraud. Decoration is also really original, nice pieces! We loved that place!

It's a big hang out place. You can watch the a lot of football here. Mostly Premier League and Champions League.. Staff is OK. Food also OK. Guinness from draft is nice.

A place that has gone down hill dramatically in the last 5 years, ran by a guy who’s passion clearly left the building years ago as familiarity has just bred contempt - the most miserable looking publican in Europe. was in recently and was given two - not one - glasses with lipstick on them. Asked the bar staff to replace the glass and they looked at me as if I’d asked for their bank details. Food has gone away to nothing, no atmosphere… a lot to be desired. Avoid

Owner/manager (?) came to shout at me and my friends, for being a group of 9 people. Even though we asked the bartender earlier if our friends could join. He told us that it was fine, as long as we weren’t more than 4 people at a table. So we kindly spread out over 3 tables. Apparently, this was too difficult for them to handle. Just because we were three groups of 3, that happen to know one another, you are refusing us service? So, if there had been another two groups of 3 people in the bar, and I would come in with two friends, you would refuse us as well? Because 9 people are too much to handle for this highly central, touristic and popular (?!) bar. No sir, we will not grace you with our presence again. Do not worry. These 9 people will no longer be your problem (/source of income)

Great drinks, but waited at a table for around 40 minutes and no one came for food orders (after being sat at our spot by a waiter). Fortunately the drinks while waiting were solid.

A very nice place to have a drink and a snack. They have a nice selection of drinks. The waiters were friendly and quick. I most definitly recommend O'Donnell's.

It is possible to find a seat at the weekends compared to places full of hippies at marie heinekenplein. Draft biers are very standard. Bitterbalen and frites are average. Having heaters under the umbrellas is a plus when you think that you feel chill even at hottest summer nights in this counry. A pop-up location to meet with friends for couple of beers.

Sticky bar, service very kind, guiness as guiness - nothing special. Small pool table if you're bored. Great they have jagermeister though!

Great beer and good food, service was friendly but could be a bit more attentive. Nevertheless an amazing pub, we even got to choose which football game we wanna have played on the screen that was in our field of view.

Medium quality pub I'm a good location. Food was ok but the girl serving us just didn't want to be there. Also ordered a whiskey that tasted nothing like the whiskey I ordered. No idea what happened there.

Genuinely, worst Irish bar I’ve been too. I gave it 3 goes. 1. Heineken semi final - wouldn’t put game on (it was Leinster) as not enough staff. 6-10 customers but nope. 2. This night was going well, had a decent laugh despite the waiter making several mistakes. Not his fault, just bad miscommunication between waiter and bar staff. However, after the 4th or 5th time, we nicely said this is wrong again. The Aussie bar man shouted over sarcastically “is everything good for you now gents”. Ha man, the tone of this guy. Went downhill from there, not welcoming. 3. And the shortest, walked in for Ireland vs South Africa. Not showing it. “Good luck finding a bar”. Found one within a couple of mins. Awful excuse for an Irish bar run by English & Aussies. 3 strikes and out gents. I tried!

Nice Irish pub in a nice areas. Big nice terrace and ok service. A little overpriced, but with the standards of the area in Amsterdam.

Good spot , big bar with big TV screens. Staff is ok, drinks are overpriced. Why? Terrace chairs are very uncomfortable, that' s a shame as well

Service is a disaster. We were a group of 10 people. We ordered 8 burgers and only 3 came. Once we asked they told us kitchen was closed and that we didnt order. They didnt accept the mistake and wouldnt offer a solution nor discount.

Ordered 8 burgers, only 3 were served. When we complained and they told us that the kitchen was closed and there was nothing they could do. Very poor experience and service. Do not recommend.

Food and drinks were ok but nothing special for the price and took a long time to come to the table. Staff were quite short and dismissive with us.

Great place,, fun atmosphere. However, the wait staff seemed to beba bit overwhelmed/ disorganized. Drink orders were a bit off. But I must say the staff is friendly.

This place is great—our local pub and always a chill atmosphere. But....bring back the o.g. veggie burger! We used to look forward to the homemade veggie burger but it's recently switched to something tasting of the frozen section from Albert Heijn. Everything else is spot on.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why.
