Amazing little cocktail bar with an amazingly designed interior. It offers some really unique specialty cocktails that are absolutely scrumptious! The staff is super friendly and attentive.

Such a cool place! This speakeasy has one of the best bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Artistic, friendly, and never let our glasses go empty. An incredible experience.

Great cocktail experience with superb service. A good variety of cocktails with good alcohol forward flavours. A little bit on. The expensive side but totally worth it. We arrived soon after they opened and sure it filled up quite quick. So either book in advance or arrive early as a pre dinner.

Great cocktail bar with very friendly staff. They had these equations written on the walls and said we'd get free shots if we figured out where even one of them is from (mostly TV shows/films). My friend got most of them that they ended up giving us multiple free rounds. Also said it was the first time somebody got that many in the 5 years they've been working there, so we had a good chat about it. Here's a photo of the Nerd-Legend :)

Fun bar, very cool layout with the upstairs lounge section. Salleh (spelling ?) our bartender was awesome. The service there is incredible and the ambiance very cool. Went there twice during my time in Amsterdam. Will definitely go back!

I cannot articulate how charming this little cocktail bar is. Typically open for small parties only but for good reason. The attention to detail and dedication to service is obvious in all aspects of the experience. We ordered 2 rounds of superb and thoughtful cocktails and we were treated to passionate and knowledgeable service and some delicious snacks to complement.

We made reservations in advance, which I would recommend if you are more than two people. It is dark and cozy and the staff knew what they were talking about. We ordered what was recommended to us, based on our preferences, by our kind bar keeper. And every single cocktail was so well composed. They were delicious. And even if we asked for something that was not on the menu, they made it. We stayed till close up, had an amazing time and we would always visit again.

Very cozy bar with couches up stairs. Easily the best martini in the city. Super friendly, and prompt service. It’s a bit small so you may have to wait if it’s busy, and the prices are high for the city but coming from a city that also has high prices, this seems inline with the quality they provide. Worth every penny and would visit again.

Awesome vibe for late night drinks. Food rating is for drinks. Of the ~10 bars visited on this trip, Milk of the Poppy was my favorite!

I’ve had a great experience at this place before but my most recent visit was subpar. I’ve always enjoyed the hospitality of the folks working there but I had a really bad experience with the girl serving us today. The bartender was super friendly and made amazing cocktails which we definitely enjoyed and highly recommend but the visit was ruined by the discriminatory and rude behavior. This could have been five stars but unfortunate for the girl working there it’s now less. Don’t let this stop you from getting cocktails but I do hope the hospitality could be back to what it was before.

A boujee cocktail bar that’s ‘hidden in plain sight’ haha. Their slogan is a “cocktail bar and occasional creators of memorable evenings”. They open at 6pm every day and are open late, either 1am or 3am. It’s a 13 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal and a beautiful view along the Prins Hendrikka road. They have a decent sized menu but will make anything you desire. Prices of the cocktails range from €9,00 - €25,00. Not the cheapest drinks for sure but they are high test and delicious. The cocktail bar has a beautiful and relaxing ambiance and is filled with lounge chairs and extremely comfortable couches with an upstairs looking over the bar. Service was fantastic, they were very attentive. You also get popcorn and olives to snack on at no charge!

The venue is quite small so we had to wait 30 minutes but the staff was super nice and got us on the waiting list, called us when our table was free. Cocktails were great and very original. Only four stars because it was too loud and it was difficult to communicate!

Had a group of four so we were able to try the entire menu. Which all of it quite delicious. The staff is very friendly and fun to interact with.

Came here for after dinner drinks off the main areas. Cool charm atmosphere. Cocktails were very nice, good service.

This is exactly what a cocktail bar should be. Small vibe, so not noisy and gives an “exclusive” feel. They limit the age of patrons to 21, which is really nice. Skilled bartending. Just try something on their menu and if it sounds good, it is good.

Had some of the BEST cocktails I've ever had here. Truly recommend it if you're a drinks lover and enjoy to let the mixologist surprise you with something amazingly good this place is for you! Favourite cocktail bar so far. Will definitely be back!

Amazing craft cocktails. Menu appears to be seasonal but if you see the PB&J old fashioned, highly recommend! Fun to sit at the bar and watch the care they take with each of the drinks.

Great little cocktail bar. Best to make a reservation. Interesting cocktail selection and we were also given 2 very recommendations. Staff are great. Very easy to settle in here for the evening. The never ending popcorn is also a bonus 😁

HPS, is a cocktail bar that lives up to its name. When you enter the bar on the first floor, it doesn't look like much, but if you go up a few stairs, you'll find yourself in a quite different environment. If you're planning a special night out, it's better to reserve a table because the little dining area is usually buzzing and jam-packed to the gills. I would recommend trying out their signature drinks like the Voodoo Child and the Vieux Carré which has been handcrafted to perfection! 🤌

It’s a great cocktail bar! There’s room for small parties because the place is small, but because of this is super cozy. The cocktails are very good and the service is excellent.

I love this place! Always great cocktails and good service. It's a real experience. My favorite is the Pisco sour, delicious!

Cozy bar hidden away in a quiet nook of the city, just outside of the chaotic interior. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The drinks are great and there are plenty of options on the menu. They also often have live music. Easily my favorite bar in the city.

Traveled the corners of the planet and never felt at home like i did at this gem of a cocktail bar, the secret is in the genuine hospitality of the owner (who is so humble you would think she just works there) and the AMAZING cocktail menu! Try the walking dead and thank me later.. Ill probably be at the bar getting smashed

Great find in a nice area just outside nieumarket. Great service and beautiful interior. Cocktails are awesome and worth every penny. Great way to start the evening. Gets full fast so reserve.

One good friend told me to go to this place , at least once per month, for the past 4 years. Boy I regret it took me so long. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. The service is great (and the complementary olives are ridiculously tasty). The environment is super cozy, great to hangout with friends while also being good for a date. Will be coming back in the future, without a doubt.

Great cocktails, super well balanced flavours and interesting flavour combinations that work super well. The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable and as mentioned great at making drinks. The couch upstairs is a super comfortable spot to sit, and there's nice music in the background at a good volume (not too loud). Wouldn't change a thing.

Small cocktail menu, prices are in line with other Amsterdam cocktail bars, quality of the cocktails is generally very good and the flavours of their signature cocktails are spot-on.
