English breakfast was really good and Rodney who served us couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy. Great place and atmosphere!

I haven't awarded any places five stars yet. Despite a chilly, long day, one of my best experiences. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was exceptional in a cozy setting. The other patrons were friendly, occasionally joining in song with the bar's music. Tess was particularly amazing, and Richard's assistance made the experience even better. Not bad for a Monday night. I highly recommend giving it a try; you'll see for yourself. Photo will be posted

A nice place for an after noon beer.

We ate breakfast around the Reimbrandtplein every day on our trip and Cafe Tante Roosje is where we got the best food. This is the only cafe around the square that was always crowded in the morning for good reason. The yoghurt was beautifully served with toppings of nuts and fruits. Farmer's Omelette had a lovely texture with the veggies. English and French breakfast were fine but the egg with the French was more on the hardboiled side. Lovely view of the square and a recommendation for anyone looking for breakfast in the area.

Unbelievable you have to pay to use the toilet after consuming at the restaurant. Very rude bald bartender said "I don't care" when asked why we can't use the toilet. They feel bad because they lost the semi final with Argentina. Sad Dutch guys.

Great ambiance, the space is decorated very nicely, the space has ... something. The waiters are kind, and prices are a little higher, but at the level of Amsterdam.

The worst service I had ever had in Amsterdam after 7 years. Aggressive, racist and anti pride bar, and the owner feels proud of being a far right wing restaurant.

Worst ever in Amsterdam. Rude waitress and I was spilled with beer and other remains from the serving tray as the waitress walked away way to hectic and blunt. Didn’t even react when I screamed because of this. Went there yesterday evening for a drink after dinner. Waitress was really rude bc we are tourists or so she made us feel. Place was not crowded but our friend was not allowed to tilt here chair lightly towards Rembrandtplein bc the waitress needs to have „free ways“. Would be understandable if the free way would not have been blocked directly behind our table and the place would have been full, not empty. Also were asked to order immediately after we sat down, but we wanted to have a look at the menu first. One of us ordered quickly the others wanted to have a few minutes to check the options. Waitress disappeared after bringing the first drink and when leaving our table spilled remains from her serving tray on me. Didn’t even react to this. Never again. If you hate tourists maybe don’t work in a place in the main tourist area of Amsterdam.

Food is great. However, the table service is terrible. The waitress was very rude, her attitude very disrespectful, and it affected the whole experience. It's a shame, because like I said, the food is good.

One of the best bittenballen and croquetes I ate, good coffee and calm place in the morning. Good for breakfast/lunch. And on the Rembrandsplain :)

Dont go here very expensive bar and they ask money to use toilets to clients - it is illegal !!

Great cafe along a park square. Triple toasted sandwich was amazing. Serve beer for breakfast and you can smoke cigarettes in the outdoor seating area, which as an American, is something we can't do. Will definitely visit again.

A cozy spot, unfotunately the kitchen was super slow and i would expect more at such a busy place. Easily waited 45min+ for our servings of club sandwiches. Price decent, servers polite.

Worthless. Bloody Mary on the menu, but the waitress says they don't do that ! She brings me a glass of tomato Juice suppose to have vodka in it. It looks more like tomato Juice mixed with water... 9.50€. A bit expensive to drink a tomato juice. Don't go there if u wanna have a good drink. Waitress not friendly at all.

Chicken wings were a hit and the ribs aren’t half bad actually. Waitress was very nice.
