I rated this with 3 star mainly because the food quality is not high, and it’s overly priced. I had a chicken sandwich and the bread was not fresh, basically they use very cheap ingredients. To be fair, the service was very good, they were fast and accommodating. I recommend this place for drinks and snack, but not food.

Lovely place, to site outside and enjoy the view of Rokin in the sunshine but their inside is also just wonderful 😍 food was great too, also vegetarian options which were great. The staff was very kind. I'm definitely coming back for evening drinks at this place too!

Nice place, well located. Had croquetttes here and they were really nice. Service is, perhaps a little off, but bearable. Tables are small and a little crowded, so don't expect privacy or intimacy. Washroom was perhaps the most impeccably clean public use washroom I have ever been in.

A very tidy restaurant with an excellent terrace space. Our server was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was nice and basic (perfect for brunch). An absolutely beautiful spot to soak up the scenery and watch "life go by" in Amsterdam.

Busy crowded weekend. Loved the live music band. Ordered the nachos but honestly wasn't good. Not loaded as they mentioned in the menu and tastes meh. My friend ordered cesar salad, and it was good.

Great location, amazing atmosphere. Super friendly staff. But food is not great. It is not bad, but you don’t feel eating a very tasty food. If you want a cozy spacious restaurant with super nice and attentive staff, it is a place to visit. But don’t expect a high culinary experience.

This place is im an excellent location right on Rokin. It is ideal if you are shopping in Kalverstraat and want to stop by for lunch. The price is a bit high and the food is not great but is decent. I consider this place more suitable for coffe or a pits stip for a drink tather than for eating. I myself tried the royal Chicken which was okeyish.

Coffee and Eggs Benedict with Salmon were good. Pizza was OK. Service was pleasant and quick. Good option for a quick meal.

Lovely exterior/interior restaurant. We ordered food and drinks I asked for a coca-cola with ice. I was giving Pepsi. I queried this with the staff member and was told this is coca-cola. There was a man in a suit sitting at the bar who said they don't offer coca-cola so I asked if I could have Pepsi max instead. The manager/bar staff member seemed annoyed at this request and the staff member rolled her eyes at me. We had already ordered food unfortunately or I would have left as this made me feel very annoyed as this error was down to the staff member. The food came and it was as expected nothing special 1xpizza, 1xpasta and 1xfries but it was nice enough. Once finished the waiter came to clear the table and returned with the bill. As I was mid conversation with my partner he pushed the receipt in to my hands which were resting on the table - very strange! Would definitly not re-visit!

Het Groene Paleis is a great place to grab a few drinks and have a meal. Our party of 6 stopped in for dinner and were seated right away. While we opted for indoors to get out of some out of the ordinary heat, they have a bunch of outdoor seating as well. Indoors, they have a terrific space that's really nice. They have loads of drink options, plenty of beers on tap and a lot of good choices for food. We were all very satisfied with our meals and drinks - and if we're back in Amsterdam again, we'll head on back.

We had fish and chips and the normal burger. The batter of the fish was soaked in grease. My husband didnt feel well after the burger. There are definitely better places to go to near by. The services is good though.

Coffee place for desperate needs…on a beautiful sunny day, had ice americano and chocolate caffeine. Loved it… loved the ambience :) lovely place for dinner

Nice ambience, quick service and plenty of choice of food.

Went in there to get a quick drink and was glad we didn’t stay for more than one. The live music was incredibly loud, made it almost impossible to understand the other person. Cocktails were fine, nothing special or really worth the price. Wouldn’t come here again.

Nice location if you want to eat outside and enjoy the warm weather. However, the food had no seasoning and was quite plain. The drinks and the desert were ok, but overall not worth the price since it was mostly tasteless.

Had a lovely experience here. If you’re fortunate enough to be served by Maria, she’ll take care of you with her super attentiveness. When our egg Benedict came (super fast btw) our drinks were late but Maria told us why, before we could even mention it (my Irish coffee took a little longer)! Will definitely be coming back.

It is nice place, only you want to have a city view. Food is just normal to me.

Not so hidden gem in the center of Amsterdam. Great spot for great food. The personell is super nice. There’s a bit of a waiting time for your food, but that’s great sign. The meals are hot and prepared on the spot. Prices are typical for such place. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

The food was outstanding, had a three course meal which was very filling, service was also brill; and the best: there was a grand piano

Fabulous restaurant and bar with a huge outdoor seating area perfect for soaking up Amsterdam’s architecture while enjoying good food. I had the tomato soup and the burger and they were both excellent. The staff are super friendly. Highest recommendation!
