A lovely bar with a good location. Not too busy, we’ve managed to get a table without reservation on Friday evening and the place was half empty. We liked atmosphere and decorations. Staff was ok, but not super welcoming/warm, you as a client don’t get that “special” feeling. Cocktails could also be better. Some of them have interesting presentation (the one called “Envy me” even involves small fire show). But I was missing interesting combinations of tastes/flavors in the cocktails: most of them were pretty straight forward. But I can still recommend the place, overall our experience was pleasant.

Super fun place to go for cocktail lovers. We sat at the bar and both bartenders were super nice and accommodating. On some of the drinks they give a nice show with it. Prices are a bit high, so be aware of that, but hey good cocktail is totally worth it.

My favorite cocktail bar since 2018, I came first time a few weeks ago after 3 years and when I looked at the bar and didn't saw the barman who I use to know, I was a bit scared of what the quality could be now, after all the people behind the bar is who makes the bar itself! Recently visited this cocktail bar and we had an amazing time. The ambiance was fancy and inspiring, with cozy yet stylish decor. The service, particularly from Andra, was excellent. She was very welcoming and provided tailored recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Overall, a fantastic spot for a night out.

Me and my girlfriend went for our 2 year anniversary, and our experience was amazing. The service was amazing, staff were extremely friendly and made a large effort to make the night special for us. Very lgbtq+ friendly. Amazing experimental cocktails, they really put on a show (the envy cocktail was insanely good). Will definitely be going back.

Really expensive compared to other cocktail bars in the city, price/quality is fair. Keep in mind that this bar has a closed door, the host/hostess will decide if you are allowed to enter depending on the way your dress, talk and so on.

Very nice bar and very nicely made cocktail they have. Not too packed at around midnight. The bartender and server were friendly. They have some interesting and beautiful cocktails so it would be good to look through the menu to find something new to try. It costs around 13€ to 15€ per cocktail.

I have already been a few times to this bar and had a nice experience. But last time I was there, the waiter was extremely rude. We wanted to have a peek inside since we were not sure were we wanted to seat. At the entrace we were held up by the unfriendly waiter who told us that this was no museum and we should already know where we want to sit. Terrible behaviour.

Cool place but a bit too touristy. They do have an extensive cocktail menu with some unique things.

I'd live inside if I could, and not because of the alcohol. But because of the atmosphere. The music is absolutely banging, and not because of being loud. But because of the well balanced volume so you can't hear other people but can talk to the person in front of you even right in front of the speaker. The cocktails are extremely well done inside too. They also don't allow just any ol' goon in there, you need to be dressed formally or semi formally. Leave your tracksuit at the door, or don't, because you also can't be naked. There were also two ladies who tried chatting up some Irish lads for a good time, but were dreadfully disappointed when none would take them up on their advances. The guys seemed like they were married with kids to be fair, those two ladies couldn't read the room. I heard the ladies call them "boring" after the lads left, yet they spent 30 minutes chatting them up and laughing at everything they say when the guys clearly had 0 interest. Some self reflection is well needed for those two ladies. All in all, entertaining, well thought out, good drinks and great vibes.

My friend and I have been here 3 times so far and it’s been amazing! The host Joe ? The one with the beautiful hair and refreshing energy made the experience great! A friend and I happened to come across NJoy on a Wednesday night while visiting the city, and we had a wonderful experience! The bartenders were friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Our drinks were fantastic- my friend got the champagne Geisha, and the bartender was kind enough to make me an off-menu drink (a last word) that was one of the best drinks I have ever had. VERY highly recommend this place!

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was going to enjoy this spot. The vibe & ambiance is so different from the neighboring sub par restaurant with the regular cocktails. The menu was built by a true mixologist and have a very interesting description. Every cocktail that passed me was an experience and not just liquid in a glass. I ordered truffle infused chips/crisps which made my tastebuds so happy. The host helped me select a drink and I haven’t even dipped my drink before I was compelled to leave a review. Made a reservation for my friends 22nd birthday on the phone. We show up, and the staff is very rude already. They tell us there is an age restriction and that they allow only 23 year olds and up, say the reservation does not exist, and the host doesn't even apologize or show any sign of kindness and understanding whatsoever. How can you even accept a reservation for someones 22nd birthday when you should know your policy only allows 23 year olds or older? And by the way, the person on the phone didn't tell us that reservations can only be made through email like they told someone else. One of the best absinthe cocktails I've ever had. Super relaxed atmosphere and very knowledgeable barkeeper. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to try a cocktail that is very well prepared. But make sure you're not in a hurry, as certain cocktails need some time to be prepared and are most certainly worth the wait.

The cocktails are amazing, the atmosphere is great and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. They do everything they can so you feel good and check up on you if everything's still great. Always smiling and never annoyed. Really recommend this place. Next time I'm in Amsterdam I will come here again. Hands down one of the best places in Amsterdam to go for a drink.

I loved the cocktails, however, we were seated by often walkable area by the waiter and got squeezed every few minutes. Generally, the “couple” table was ridiculously small. I would work on optimizing this rather than trying to get as many as possible tables “taken”.

It was my mates birthday and we wanted to celebrate it at NJOY. So as any rational person would do, we made an reservation. Which took forever to manage because a certain someone at NJOY didn’t take their job seriously enough to actually plan my friends birthday. FINALLY we were able to make a reservation for the ten of us. For his 22nd birthday by the way. Even though they were supposed to let us know that their policy only allows people of 23 and above. So we show up at NJOY and guess what? Our reservation was totally non existent. The host (who is supposed to be kind and welcoming by the way) was being totally oblivious about our request. He even had the audacity to send us away without an apology or anything. Maybe this place is cool and all but our experience there has not been one of the nicer ones that I read about in other reviews. Also, my pants were suddenly taken off.
