Great bar, wonderful atmosphere, friendly bar staff and great beers. The cheese board looked great but we didn't have any on this occasion. Fully recommend.

One of my favorite bars in Amsterdam! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and Amber (the bar cat) couldn't be cuter. The beer selection really can't be beat and the cheese plate is delicious and a very good deal for all that you get.

Great cafe with really good vibes inside. Feels really LGBT friendly, the staff is kind and helpful, and it's a great place for beer lovers. Also, they have a super cute kitty that roams around in the cafe! If you're not a fan of beers, they also offer a handful of ciders, and basic mix drinks.

This is the kind of bar that is for everyone. Great selection of beers, good ambience, all kinds of people, they all seemed very friendly. There is a very cute cat taking a nap on the counter by the window. The servers are friendly but we went early in the evening and there was only one barman, it was a long queue before getting a beer, a bit chaotic I must say.

Love this place, lots of beers to choose from and the crowd is usually very nice. If you're lucky, Amber (the cat) is around!

Spent some time here in October and its a wonderful place to unwind and the older bartenders there are very friendly and welcoming. There was one younger kid working there who seemed pretty out of place and not at all friendly but other than that, I loved this place. Amber the cat is just lovely, I will definitely visit again next time I'm in town! Also a great place to meet Canadians :)

We had the best time meeting up with friends here for a few drinks. The cheeseboard was AWESOME. They do not skimp you on the cheese! This is a very local bar with no frills. It also has an awesome resident tabby CAT. Meow!

Perfect and typical bar in Amsterdam! There is an unbelievable choice of beers! Each beer tastes better then the previous one and the price is really fair. Every human being should go in this place at least once in a life!

I enjoyed my beers here. Nice songs and cozy vibes. The bartender was super friendly. My only complaint is that they dont serve snacks like french fries or bitterballs, instead they only serve nuts and cheese plate (which is pretty basic :/)

I sampled a few IPAs, each bursting with unique hop profiles and distinct flavors. If you're into sour beers or stouts, they have an equally impressive lineup that will satisfy even the most discerning palate.

Good selection of Belgium beers, including around 6 alcohol free beers (or with less alcohol below 0.75%) They don’t have much to bite on.

A wonderful traditional bar. We have been looking for one of these in our pup tour for a long time and finally found it. Very nice service and a huge selection of beer. Unbelievable!

In the same way I want the world to discover this place; I want to keep this a little secret spot just to my friends and I. The server/manager of this place is without doubt the best of Europe - her knowledge about the beers are impressive and the way she manages the whole place by herself is unbelievable spotless. The beers are always a grateful surprise. If you want quality beer and excellence service, this is the place. and the cat is very charming too.

I have been here a few times and they have a good selection of beer and staff are friendly. No food menu like the location on Overtoom, but we could at least order a cheese platter which was really nice. They have a cute resident kitty named “Amber” as well.

I would easily give this place a 6/5 if there was an option. The staff are extremely knowledgable about beers and they have a vast selection of beers as well to pick from. The crowd is also great. The ambience is cozy and yet does scream I’m a bar. But all in all a fantastic experience with such good beers and a fantastic selection of old school music. This is a must try for any beer lover. The triple here is one of the best in the city. Highly recommended.

The familiar and well-known place does not disappoint!!! The best beers, the professional service, the best and pleasant atmosphere. I recommend ordering a cheese board. I don't repeat that this is the best place to drink beer in a warm atmosphere. Taste 10/10 service 10/10 cleanliness10/10, price 10/10 Thx guys 🙂

Fantastic pub with a lot of beer (on tap & in bottles. The cheese board was utterly delicious! The vibe is cool. Our bar man was super friendly & very knowledgeable... You pay a little more for these beers but it's worth it. Take some time to try a few beers and relax :)

Great selection and great bartender. Once we dialed in bartender had excellent suggestions. Central neighborhood, lots to do around it, good crowd, felt like a real bar (not always the case in Europe).
