I love it. The staff and people there are very nice atmosphere is very easy, it's a old coffee and small Amsterdam building with a lot of it's charm. A place to sit and enjoy your drink while talking very chill with friends. It's a perfect hoek in the area, very calm and gezellig. Mostly you'll be likely to find locals.

You can have a sense that here people were drinking for around 400 years. Ridiculous amount of people starred at this lamp for centuries. Love these kind of places - it is history in eveyday life, it is what cities must be proud of and take good care of these century-long places.

Amazing Dutch bar. Great selection of beers and spirits. As you'd expect in Amsterdam the regulars are friendly. Really recommended, stop off for a few beers here if you can.

One of Amsterdam's nicest brown pubs on the site of an old jenever and liqueurs distillery. A fantastic range of delicious spirits and speciality beers. Not to mention the hard-boiled eggs on the bar that confirm the old brown pub identity.

Went on a walk and dropped by this place to get a drink. It's 16.00 pm and when we tried to order the staff said that he's busy. I'm not sure why this place is highly rated. Maybe he's being rude cause I'm not local and speak english

A very cosy bar where I went for drinks with colleagues to say goodbye to one of our interns. It’s very traditional and place with history. They have a lot of different beers, so if that’s your thing it’s definitely a good place to go!

One of the oldest pubs of the city. Great friendly and social atmosphere. Cool and cozy interior. Definitely worth going for a beer. Be advised they only accept Maestro card or cash.

Really nice place. Friendly staff. But you need tiny fingers to eat the cheese. Such small parts.. it is like eating at Madurodam.
