This hidden gem in Amsterdam is a locals best kept secret bar & party place. I loved the venue and the vibe. The drinks are competitively priced so you'd enjoy your night drinking. The music is great for dancing and the lower floor is used for live performances & live bands. Cannot wait to party here again.

Cool alternative place. Warm and cozy. Nice atmosphere, good vibes and fair prices. They usually feature live music, and host many kinds of events, which it makes an interesting place to visit also during the week days. I like their vintage decoration, friendly staff and tasty cocktails.

Anita is great! There's live music downstairs but the upstairs bar is quiet enough to have a chat. Great staff, amazing drinks, relaxed crowd. Definitely recommended.

Great stuff! Good mix of all ages and social groups. A real local gem. Drinks are decent quality and prices are very reasonable (8-10 EUR).

I went there because I like the shows that are put on there. I saw an awesome burlesque show there just a few weeks back. Such energy and such beauty I haven't experienced in a while. Ladies with a message and an attitude. Although all of the performances where awesome, one stood out. Bustie La Tish was the most Impactful. Her energy was out of this world in a very good way. The details of her show were night and day compared to the others. Bustie is a star in her field. Her outfit was super mega cute. I had seen her in a show in Boom Chicago a couple years ago. Then she rocked and she still does. I found out she has her own production team called GOSH. For sure I will return to Anita with their next show. It's so chill there.

I didn't know this place, it was suggested to us by friends, and the suggestion has never been more appreciated. Beautiful venue, beautiful people and beautiful music! We will definitely be back soon!

What a nice little bar. We came here for the ska show and it did not disappoint! The venue itself is in the back of the bar, spans 2 floors with a balcony around the stage. Then dancefloor downstairs. Plenty of spots to watch the band, the drinks were reasonably priced. All the staff were lovely and having as much fun as the guests.

Interesting but great location! Close to the center of Amsterdam. It feels like a living room when you enter, but there’s actually an awesome stage in the basement in the back! They have a great selection of beers! Go check out Nutty Anita’s Comedy Night!

Great place of you love old vibes! The interior is amazing and classic, the staff is kind and the layout is also quite amazing! Real 50/60's vibe, loved it!

This cafe/bar/event space is great! Every time I go here I think; I need to go here more often. It’s great for concerts, events or just drinks. The cocktails are amaaaazing, truly some of the best in town. The vibe of this place is super nice and feels safe and comforting

This former cooking school is now a cozy neighborhood bar with a perfectly grungy performance space in the back. One of the few remaining examples of original Amsterdam counterculture. And next door is a community center and food bank called ‘Robin Food.’ Long live De Nieuwe Anita.

Quirky and a place with fun vibes. They only need to fix their bass speakers in the performance area other than that, a lovely, artistic, vibey place to visit. 4 stars for now, 5 stars when the soundsystem is fixed. 🙏🏽
