Only discovered this recently but it's already one of my favorite cocktail bars in the city! The cocktail menu is creative and extensive, and the bartender can also make something off the cart to suite your tastes. Snacks are delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Incredibly delicious/authentic dinner paired with tempting cocktails 🍸 a truly one of a kind experience in Amsterdam. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was one delicious bite after another. The ambiance was relaxed and chill. The drinks were out of this world, each sip of their unique cocktails was an experience in it of itself. My group of friends inhaled most of the food because it was so tasty, but here are some personal recommendations: - spare ribs - jerk chicken (daily special) I’d say every cocktail on that menu deserves some attention. 1,000% would come back here again ❀️

Black owned. Great drinks. Great service. Sadly I got there too late to eat but the drinks were fire! I had the Boylesque and Le Vagabond. Both were amazing but the Boylesque just blew me away. I definitely will be back to Amsterdam and when I do I’m coming early enough to get food and drinks!!!

After dinner, we craved for a last cocktail and ended up at Labyrinth. Well, a Labyrinth it was. It's interesting to analyze how everything connects at this place. We were too late for the bites, but judging from the menu it could be right up my alley, Caribbean fusion. The staff, judged by their appearance, looked like their own movie in totally different genres. The Labyrinth was like the Netflix, where they all came together. Then the music. It didn't fit any of the characters. Saturday night, almost empty establishment, mellow music, relaxed vibe. Waiter knows his way with eyeliner, because that was on point. Forgot to ask where he found a pigmented white eyeliner like that. Just as the cocktails. 'Boogie Woogie' and 'The Dragons Tale' was the nightcap we didn't know we were looking for. Will we be back? Yes. I want to try the foods and wander through this Labyrinth again to see what comes up to the surface next time.

Super friendly service 😊 Cocktails to start with were super nice. We had the shared dining with chicken wings baked bananas (ordered twice) spare ribs (my favorite) bakeljouw crockets (outstanding). A perfect place to have tasty bites and signature cocktails.

The place is such a gem! Located in a lovely neighborhood of Vondelpark, serving great selection of unique signature cocktails, prepaid by the owner of the place himself! The food is amazing too, very rich in flavors and tastes: especially we enjoyed fried plantan (sort of banana) and coconut shrimps. All of these goes with a quick and friendly service! Will come back again for sure!

I enjoyed the soul food (the steamed okra dish and cassave fries are recommended ) The highlight is definitely the cocktails which were really good and beautiful decorated. I will def come back to try out their other cocktails! The restaurant is also nicely decorated, it’s a shame they don’t offer outdoor seating which would be a plus!

We happened to go twice to Labyrinth during our stay in Amsterdam. The cocktails were very original and very cleverly balanced (special mention to the one with jalapeno water!) and the food we had was delicious (fish croquettes, fried chicken and veggie salad). The staff was absolutely lovely (special mention to the waitress that night) and if I lived in Amsterdam, I am confident this would become my usual haunt to read books and drink cocktails on a Friday night !

Had dinner with 4 friends on a Saturday. Nice modern, clean but cosy interior design. Upon arrival we were served chilled free tap water - this might be normal in the US, in the NL we have to ask and sometimes even demand for tap water since it's not always served. Very friendly service, kitchen was very well capable of catering to my gluten-intollerant friend. Nice tasty food and great selection of signature cocktails. The fried catch of the day may have needed a bit more seasoning. Excellent spare-ribs and an very generous portion of Chicken Stew. We will definitely return - if only for a cocktail or two...

Nice atmosphere and good cocktails. We tried the samosas which were nice and a great salad with spinach and grilled vegetables. I also got some shrimps which were fried and I wasn't impressed with them but overall it is a nice spot and we will go again !

I think the best Afro Carribean restaurant in Amsterdam! Food to share concept that you do not often see with these type of foods and the cocktails are very good and unique. Will definitely go back when there is a poetry night or another event.

Cocktails are superb. Can't praise the mixologist enough. 5 stars for the bar and servers. Kitchens gets 3 stars. Do NOT order the fried chicken....what will arrive is three miserable pieces of over processed expunged chicken that tastes of cardboard which you'll be charged €10 for.

Labyrinth is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. I went to a poetry night here first, and was impressed by the atmosphere, as well as the quality/creativity of the drinks menu. Afterwards, I booked a table for a large group at Labyrinth. We got raves about Labyrinth the whole time - that it was beautiful, that the cocktails were fantastic, and that they couldn't believe they hadn't heard of it before. I showed my husband the reviews and he immediately requested we book a reservation for ourselves that weekend. On this occasion, we tried a variety of the food - all was excellent, but our biggest favorites were the jerk chicken and barbecue chicken. There are several vegetarian/vegan options as well; I recommend the plaintains. TLDR: Labyrinth has it all: creative and excellent drinks and food, interesting cultural events, and the capacity to host either an excellent group meetup or an intimate date night.

Good service and cozy interiors. Cocktails are also well done. Love the fact that they have open-mic days for artists. 🎀

The drinks are incredible. Really amazing mixologists. Food is meant to be shared, so it’s definitely a tapas style vibe. Decor is dark and warm with loads of art on the walls.

Had a wonderful time here! The food is delicious. I recommend the jerk wings & plantain. The wings had a sauce with them that was addicting & phenomenal. The owner is kind and you can tell he’s a great mixologist. The drinks were great as well. They do open mic’s every Monday & it is wholesome & fun! Definitely check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

Hands down the most fascinating cocktail bar I've ever been to. Amazingly individual cocktails uniquely served. They also have cool tapas and you can order custom drinks. Great live background music, brilliant atmosphere. Must see!

I know this place have good reviews but we were disappointed. The place definitely needs more staff. We ordered cocktails and when we wanted to order some more food, the owner walked away. The food was tasty though. Be mindful if you are being late 5min you need to call and let them know

The names of the cocktails are a whole experience of their own! Very intriguing and poetic concepts-a lot of creative thought went into the names and descriptions. Then the drinks themselves?? Quite a few levels, way beyond the norm! This is on a level of madter alchemy, with consistently beautiful presentation, delivery and execution. Definitely my new favourite bar. :)

Now this is the kind of place you dont cross very often. The atmosphere is very chill...the food is amazing...the waiters are friendly and attentive....but the owner was the one who made biggest impression. Sam is so dedicated to every cocktail and every drink he prepares for his customers and you sincerely cant stop trying his own created and developed drinks. I love the dedication that poured into this place and recommend everybody to visit who is going to Amsterdam.

Some of the best cocktails I've had, anywhere. We ordered 6 different drinks and 5 of them were fantastic - the only disappointing one came from my friend asking for 'extra spicy'. I can't wait to come back here to try out more of the menu.

This cozy spot has an truly amazing vibe. The food was fantastic , I recommend the plantains with the peanut sauce. The cocktails were delicious the staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodating. The live performing artists were what really set the mood. Spoken word poetry and relaxed but deep lyrics made this an unforgettable experience.

Great place to chill or have a conversation. All the shareable food is above average. Yes I have tried them all over a 3 week period. The special drinks are decent but make sure the ingredients are ones you like.
