Lovely Mediterranean restaurant with great attentive service. I had the mixed grill and my partner had the gluten free lamb kofte. Mixed grill tasted really good apart from I was not asked how I liked my steak cooked and this came over cooked for my liking. Overall would recommend for any with a gluten intolerance with plenty of options available!

Lovely Mediterranean restaurant close to Amsterdam downtown yet away of the busy parts of downtown. The restaurant is serving halal food. Food was great, atmosphere was nice, our host was friendly and helpful. Food was served in short time, presentation was good and food was delicious! I loved the music tracks they were playing and loved that music wasn’t so loud so we still can talk to each other!

Such a great restaurant run by a very friendly staff. The appetizers of chicken tapenade, Albanian liver and stuffed vine leaves were really tasty. The liver was exquisite in my opinion. The mains were both of lamb and each of them had their own character and special flavor. We will definitely be back there to try the rest of the menu.

Amazing experience from beginning to end. The service was incredible, always helpful and bringing so many little details on the house. Coming from Spain we recommend this place to have the most authentic Mediterranean experience in Amsterdam. The food was tasty without being pricey, which is not really common.

My colleague had raved about this restaurant, so I decided to take my team there for dinner. At first, things didn't seem to be going too well as the staff appeared a bit curt, but it soon became clear that they were just under a lot of pressure during the busy hour. Once we got settled in, the staff was fantastic! They were friendly, suggested some amazing dishes, and catered to all our needs, considering we were a large group. And the food... Oh my goodness, it was divine! Every dish we tried was better than the last - the starters, mains, drinks, and desserts were all mouth-watering. I cannot praise the food enough. I'm already planning to return to the restaurant for another fantastic experience.

This place rocks everything! From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was stellar. Very attentive wait staff. Started with lentil soup and filo feta cheese "cigars" scrumptious! Ordered the mixed grill, large enough to split. The chocolate mousse is homemade. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The staff is really amazing. They keep providing you with cold tap water, give you extra amounts of random food, so lovely! The menu has a lot of varieties, all of them are delecious. Do not miss the appetizer: shrimps with melted cheese, yummy.

The restaurant is nice, the service is quite fast with a very nice presentation of items. Lighting is somehow dim but overall ambience is quite good. The food is nice but somehow westernized in comparison to the origin dishes and where they come from.

Really enjoyed the fresh, good quality Mediterranean food here. It was very busy, always a good sign, but they had plenty of staff on who were attentive and helpful. There were vegetarian and vegan options available. We didn't book but still had no wait for a table despite how busy it was. The price was good for the quality of food in a central location.

I loved the food. It was so deliciuos. The atmosphere is nice though the tables are so close together. Maybe I am the one who loves more spacious environment but it is ok. I wish they had variety of cocktails as well in their menu.

Superb friendly service in this family owned restaurant, and dogs are welcome. We had dinner here with our young kids, there were very accommodating to our son who is a very fussy eater. Starters very tasty, but the main meals (especially the oven meals) are very filling. Tap water is free 👍🏻 Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys the tasty Mediterranean cuisine.

Such great food! I had the "Chef's special" , a lamb dish. The meat was so tender! My husband had the chicken skewers. The bread and the aioli.. yum! I had the eggplant appetizer and put the eggplant on the bread with aioli sauce. 😍

I tried the chicken kebabs..it was served with rice and veggies. The dish was delicious. Bread with dip and olives were complementary. They even gave me a chocolate mousse on the house. Highly recommend

Super delicious food with amazing atmosphere. You feel like you live here because when I went the place was packed with locals. Make sure you get your reservations before you go. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily there was no a show and we only had to wait like 5 minutes. Thank god we stayed because the food was super delicious.

My children brought me to this Mediterranean restaurant in Amsterdam to celebrate my birthday. I enjoyed the food and the ambiance was good. The price is reasonable too.

Got here right when they opened but it took them about 10 minutes for them to get all set up for customers. After getting seated, we got some bread, olives and some sort of dip for the bread which was really nice. Then we got a round of beers. For food we ordered Guvec which is a lamb stew with eggplant, garlic, tomato and bell pepper. My friends ordered the Baked Chicken which had cubed chicken fillet, mushrooms, onions, garlic, bell pepper, tomato in cream sauce and the Dutch steak which was steak baked in butter. Good food, a little bit pricey, service was nice tho, they kept the bread going which was nice!

What a nice place it is !!!! Oriental and Mediterranean cuisine at its best. Do try everything. You need to make a reservation as it is very crowded but even if you decide to go in the last minute, the amazing guy from Adana (probably the owner) will find a way to accommodate you. I am sorry I didn’t stay longer to go again but next times I visit Amsterdam it will be one my choices

I had a good lunch here. Some traditional Arabic and Mediterranean dishes. The stuffed feta cheese rolls were great. They serve bread and dip as an appetizer. Average service and cozy seating. Some outdoor seating. They have wifi.

We stopped and only waited 20 minutes for a table but the wait was so worth it! The samplers were amazing. The mixed grill and the grilled chicken salad were fantastic! My meal was topped off with an amazing chocolate mousse! This is a great option for dinner outside the center of Amsterdam!

Good restaurant just outside center of Amsterdam. They have a wide range of dishes not limited to Italian food. Staff is friendly and service was good. Food was good as well, smaller portions (but good size) when compared to US means. I had the lamb (grilled) which was good (not perfect), we also had the lamb stew which was actually better. The rice was actually very good. Greek yogurt as dessert which is already a pleasure., which was nice. In general good restaurant.

I chose the restaurant to celebrate my birthday because it was close to the hotel and had a lot of reviews about the delicious food. And I was not mistaken. Thank you for the fast service and friendly staff. The food is very tasty, prices are reasonable. The Grill and Desserts are great. Jam for a cheese plate is great. The portions are not large, but they are enough to be full) The interior is not pretentious, but very cozy. Don't confuse it with Olive on the corner. We compared. Still, the food is better here) I can say that this is one of the most hospitable and best places in Amsterdam. Highly recommend! And thank you 🤗

This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Amsterdam. Terrific middle eastern food in a nice establishment with friendly staff. I was especially excited for the Kunefe as it is very hard to find in the US and it did not disappoint, and the baklava was delicious too. For our entrees we ordered the chicken and the mixed grill, it was all so good and cooked perfectly.

What a brilliant restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding. Got a cheese board as a starter and chicken kebabs for main. We were given baclava as an extra for dessert which was a lovely touch. There was a table in the restaurant which were causing quite a lot of noise but staff sorted it quickly and were apologetic, even though it was not their fault. I will definitely visit again. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

Great restaurant. The oriental dishes were very tasty and inexpensive. The service was very, very friendly and attentive. After we had already paid, we had to wait a bit because of a rain shower and drank another beer. The round was spent to us by the host. It does not get any better than this! Thank you very much!

Very good food; we had shawarma, lentil soup and kofte and the portions were adequate. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the place has great atmosphere and nice music; the seats are very comfortable so we had a very nice lunch.

The staff is delightful. I ate here twice and both times they were warm, professional and seemed to take joy in their job. The menu options offer a great variety and everything I tried was delicious. My favorite surprise was the Turkish Rose. Sooooo good.

Tasty Turkey dishes in Amsterdam. We was there on weekday evening and there was a lot of free tables. Really like grilled chicken kebab. Friendly English speaking personal, terrace around the restaurant.

A nice place to have a quick easy meal. Food is high quality, it tastes good but it’s nothing spectacular. The portion sizes are good, loads of meat options as well as vegetarian options, which means it’s an easy place for a big group as everyone can find something they can eat. We were a big group and they have us all mini chocolate mousses at the end which was a very nice gesture.

Add this on your list for a must have experience to eat while in Amsterdam. The lamb dishes here are cooked perfectly and have wonderful flavor. The samplers are a great way to share appetizers with friends to start your meal. The baklava was a true treat to end the meal.

Lovely place across Motel One, Amsterdam. The food and the service are great. The owner/host was very personable and warm. Overall, it's a great place to dine and have a nice time.
