We went for our anniversary and it was just perfect. We did not expect it to be honest... ended up staying there for 4 hrs enjoying the food and the amazing recommendations of our sommelier Menno. He nailed our flavour palette to perfection and customised the pairings perfectly - even brining sake from Gifu (town where my boyfriend is from) To be honest it was the first time this happened to me that I actually loved every pairing. We also really enjoyed the food prepared by Chef Roku who was giving every guest at the table his full attention while preparing each dish immaculately. We went with the Classic menu set and it was both diverse in experience, delicious and filling. Thank you very much also to our waiter Saike who took very well care of us and gave us a sweet heart origami & a hand written note wishing us the best - thank you Saike! It was a very lovely night overall and we will cherish the memories.

Dinner night with work colleagues, what an experience, of course the Japanese etiquette and friendliness to the top, very helpful and focused but relaxed staff, Nice space, great atmosphere, easy to get there, Thursday evening was a bit empty when we arrived but after a few minutes it got really busy, I mean we were alone in the beginning the six of us and later this poor guy was cooking simultaneously for three more couples... and still next level attention to the smallest details of food presentation for all dishes being prepare AND explained on front of you... If you are in town, for an especial occasion and looking for a real cooking experience... this is it. Thank you guys, I wish I remember the name of our chef, very nice guy.

Top quality food and service. The decor and atmosphere are relaxing and fun. One of us had the classic menu and the other had the seasonal and both were excellent. The staff were so friendly and efficient too. We had a fantastic time here and will be back to try some of the other restaurants here.

As a first time guest of this fine-dining experience i can tell it was quite a positive experience. We were a small group of 4, and took the seasonal with Wagyu upgrade and the wine tasting. The sommelier explained the wine experiences and what all the taste notes were and did a fantastic job. You could tell she was very experienced. The staff is very calm and do anything for your experience at sazanka. Ofcourse it's not the cheapest dinner but it is the only Michelin star teppanyaki restaurant in Europa so it makes sense. This is not like any other teppanyaki where the quality is low and the show is big. This is very good quality with a very mellow environment. Calm and collective. Our Chef Riku was very good in what he did and had this very calm atmosphere around him. Would recommend 5/5.

An experience worth remembering! We went here for my wife’s birthday and it was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had so far. Japanese hospitality combined with a tasty menu that is brought to life right in front of your eyes.

Wonderful experience. Very professional chefs, even their name is engraved in the knives they use! My sister doesn’t like fish so she got a menu with meat and I got the vegetarian menu which definitely felt as if I didn’t have to miss out on anything. Super tasty and the whole atmosphere is very serene and relaxing.

In my view the best teppan restaurant in the Netherlands. The Seasonal menu always has creative dishes as a companion to the beef main course. Fresh, highest quality ingredients and the Japanese chef at your table make a fabulously tasting meal. If you also like sashimi ask for the sushi bar menu and add some very good sashimi to your meal. Scallops sashimi is my favourite. Service is very good and staff very attentive and friendly. Make a reservation in advance as restaurant is usually fully booked. Prices are in line with the premium quality of the food and well worth it. Parking in the garage under the hotel and can also be reached by public transport.

If you like Teppanyaki, this is a great choice. Doubly so, as there aren't that many of them to be found in Europe. The chef cooks everything in front of you which precision and skill. The experience feels quite Japan-like, with both the chef and the waitress assigned to your table making sure everything is fine. The menu is long and consistently good, but the star of the show is the Wagyu beef, which is amazing. Price wise it's at Michelin-star level. Not unexpected, but that's something to keep in mind.

Amazing food, we ordered a la carte bc the tasting menu seemed to be too much food for us. We ordered the lobster as an appetizer, then waygu sirloin as a main course with mushrooms and broccoli and veggie fried rice. Highly recommend it. Our chef Rito was amazing and so meticulous! We really enjoyed watching his focus while cooking. Truly an artist. Love this place and will definitely come back.

We were lucky to 'compare' Ciel Bleu and Sazanka. Visited Ciel Bleu 2 days earlier, both are 👍👌 Sazanka was an absolute fantastic experience. Extremely delicate menu (Seasonal) prepared by a very experienced cook (Rena).

Hands down - the best Tepanyaki experience I had in Europe so far! The ingredients are of the highest quality standard. Beef from the US or Japan (very tasty waguy class 5 quality), excellent sea food and top of the line vegetarian options. The wine and sake list is extensive and holds various options from around the world with a strong focus on France. Go for one of the set menus and order the wine or sake pairing on top. You will be amazed which great treats await you. The staff happily refills your glass and makes sure you have enough to accompany every course. An amazing food adventure withs few cool and memorable twists. A must go

We loved it. The first thing that impressed us was how well the restaurant recreated the authentic Japanese vibe. The food was a well balanced variation on traditional Japanese flavors presented in a modern way. For example, the dashi stock was served as dashi jelly. Overall the food was great and the service perfect. And special points for easily accommodating my dietary restrictions.

Sazanka is an amazing Japanese restaurant with western touching. The staff is incredibly good, the food is delicious, the selection of sake (warm/cold/sparkling) is wide. A chef explained what he was cooking, a sommelier remembered all my previous sake’s chooses and I didn’t had a chance to wait for him or new dishes. It was 2,5 hours pure joy. We went there for our anniversary. They offer menu seasonal for 120€ pp and classic menu for 180€, sake around 20€ pg (very wide dispersion). This is very unique experience.

Good food, excellent service but the restaurant need to be refreshed because it looks old. The matching wine arrangement for 95€ we found wasn’t worth it, better order a good bottle of wine.

The staff are very friendly and the chefs explain everything very well so you know exactly what you are eating which really adds to the experience. A thoroughly enjoyable place to visit with delicious food, well worth the price!!

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
